All Dojutsu have their beginning in the Rinnegan.

Kakashi once said the Sharingan was derived from the Byakugan.

If Hagoromo has the Rinnegan, he got his Dojutsu chakra from his mother.

Which he passed to Indra, which became the Sharingan.

So, what you pointed out is logically consistent.

Hang on to your diapers folks! Naruto is here for a long , long ride!
- Kishi is revealing the So6P BACKSTORY! The flashback of ALL flashbacks! That brought up twice as many questions as it answered. I know there were rumors about the manga ending soon or w/e (and that may be true) but this flashback, the narutoverse has been expanded to the 'nth' power! There's too much 'naruto world' now left unexplored. Here are my reasons for this point:

1. So6P had a sibling!
- All this time...So6P has been revered as the 'God' of all ninjas. The savior of this world. From him, came the tailed beasts, teachings of ninjutsu (well, ninshuu according to him), and everything else in the naruto world that we know of. NOW, Kishi is revealing to us that there is a SECOND person who (for all we know) is JUST as powerful as our first God of shinobi?? If so, where has he been all these years & why haven't we heard of his accomplishments?? Is it even a he? Did he have a sister? Did he/she die in the battle?
What I do see this doing is giving an explanation for & connecting the 4 clans (Hyuga/Uzamaki/Senju/Uchiha). Uzamaki was in fact explained initially as being the distant cousin of the senju. That could've always been a literal explanation. But then again, it leaves a gap for why is Ashura reincarnated into naruto and not a senju. But I digress...

2. So6P mother was evil! :devil: :devil::devil::devil:
- If the manga IS in fact expanded upon and is allowed to continue, I for one believe that Kagoromo's mom will in fact be (& yes I like using the phrase 'in fact') the NEXT villain. :klaus::nexus:
Kagoromo explained his mom to be evil, and them fighting the Juubi was their way to pay for their mother's sins. If not her, then someone from her family. She is 'Princess Kaguya Otsutski' after all. And the narutoverse has already proven time & time again that "time" (seen what I did there?) doesn't mean diddly crap. If the s06P have stuck around this long, why couldn't OP'd villains from the past do so as well?
I know ppl were saying, "Orochomaru is the next Villain!" & "what will Orochimaru do next!" But he's done, IMHO. His character has already switched sides. Him going back to being THE villain will be bad character development on Kishi's part, & quite boring to be honest. We've seen too much awesomeness. The next villain will have to almost possess powers 'not of this world' to now compete w/ naruto & sasuke.

Which brings me to my final point.
3. The fruit fell! :xylon:
The fruit, from that glorious tree, that caused Kaguya to travel to the ancient narutoverse in search of it, HAS FELL (or so I think at least). While Madara was getting 'pwned' by Gai, there was that one frame that showed a subtle 'pmff' as if something landed. I think this was the set-pu for a potential villain! To become as strong as Kaguya was.

Thus, for these reasons, I believe the manga has (at least) a chance of being extended. What I hope DOESN'T happen is if we get some kind of 'bootleg' explanation for all this. Example: the brother of the so6p isn't explained to be the origins of the nara/akimichi clans or the origins for the strong shinobi in the Kumogakure village (remember when they said the Kinkaku bros may have been descendents?). Cuz that would be an eternal let-down. It would take away from the epicness that IS the so6p's AND it would make our 2nd so6p look like a chump.

Anyways, words are getting short. Let me know what you think about all this. Deuces

If Naruto is the reincarnation of Ashura, Sasuke has to be the reincarnation of Indra. Also, what about Hagoromo's brother? He must be important, right? Good chapter, liked the humor. 5/5

I'm now thinking so6p's sibling could have been a villain in the past. Maybe once the so6p died, so6p-sibling went after the tailed beasts which caused the sons to team up to fight against him. Sort of a sasuke+naruto vs madara parallel. Still think the mom will be a villain tho.

Sage actully has a brother. I think that it may be possible that Jubbi ccurrntly sealed inside Madara is only half of original. Probably other half[ which was sealed inside sage's bro] is still sealed somewhere .
Also last panel with elder son with Susano. And younger with kubbi chakra it looks like it

Well it makes sense in that according to muthology indravwas the god of gods but nobody liked him. He gets cursed by all kinds of sages and that he always wages warvin order to retain his position as the king.whereas king of asura is mahabali who is the kindest of all people who does alot of good things ( not true about his followers though)? Also it makes sense as thr mother of so6p is a demon herself . And asura may be the direct lineaage of her and that so6p himself saidvshe is thevmist ppwerful of all ofvthem. Thevstory just gave naruto a bad guy face as a hudden demon in him like the devil may cry attitude.

First off i have no problem with Naruto or Sasuke

Now for the ones insulting Naruto...the sage didn't say anything about him borrowing or being given power. The opposite actually, he said that through suffering, hardwork, and comrades(ie the will to get stronger to protect them...going back to the first lesson he learned from Haku) that he/Ashura were able to become as powerful as a natural genius.

As for being a reincarnation invalidating the struggles that he went through to get that power...how? It's not like he had the younger sons skills and memories since he was born...it was a restart and the reincarnations had to learn skills all over again. it’s just like those people who were mad when Naruto was first confirmed to be Minato’s son and claimed that he was a gifted hypocrite because of what he said to Neji in part one…completely forgetting the fact that he was born a loser(ignoring Hinata who was also born a loser and with a higher position in the very same gifted clan as Neji)

In fact if you want to be technical both Naruto and Sasuke have been given power. but they both had to suffer emotionally and train to master those powers...In fact, why just limit it to Naruto and Sasuke? the whole human race was given/stole power starting with Juubi's creation of all life essentially giving everything some of it's power even if they had no way to utilize it, then with Kaguya stealing the fruit and continuing with Hagoromo creating the chakra pathways/at least providing the basis for it so everyone could create chakra...and as for Naruto not having access to kyuubi's chakra had kyuubi not been in him, i'd like to point to the whisker-marks that were on his face even at birth then point to the Kin Gin brothers with Kyubi chakra fused into their very being...i think kyuubi is more a part of Naruto than people want to admit.(also the fact that Kyuubi was Naruto's father in the pilot manga, maybe kishi wanted to make use of that)

Sorry but your wrong NinjaRasengan on this one by a long shot. Naruto have never been a underdog why can't you see that.

Naruto parents are two great ninja's (his dad is the fourth Hokage), Naruto is a member of the third most O.P clan (the Uzumaki), Naruto was born with and had 4 times more chakra than Kakashi at 12 and 10 times more charkra at 16 without counting him having the 9 tail fox steroids injection (the strongest tail beast) and cause he have a abundance of his own chakra, he can trade up with natural chakra, to go into Sage mode. Naruto can also use cheat jutsu (that Kakashi taught him, sense he not a genius and have so much chakra), to learn any jutsu quick and catch up to true genius like Sasuke. Also maybe your right that Naruto cause of those whiskers, got some direct power from the 9 tail fox, cause he was a born while his Mother was a Jinchuuriki (which is another born power up, for the suppose underdog).

On top of all that, Naruto was the chosen one, that the frog told Jaraiya that he would teach (would you consider Minato or Nagato a underdog), it was hinted that he was the second coming of the Sage of the 6th path a god (thank goodness Kishi change that, cause then the Hagoromo would of been overrated to), but no he is the second coming of the god son Ashura.

All this hard work stuff is base on him becoming as strong as the other person that important during that generation (in Naruto case Sasuke, in Madara case Hashirama and in Ashura case his brother Indra), but that don't mean that they also wasn't powerful and talent as well.

Rock Lee and Ten Ten can train in the DBZ time room for a 100 years and only be 10% as strong as Naruto could become in 5 years of training, because they are true underdogs (if Rock Lee was born with all of Naruto power up and talent, the manga would of been name Rock Lee).

Kishimoto story will end with Naruto changing his and Sasuke destiny.

The whole point is Naruto never was a underdog, but obviously the second most gifted character if he work hard (not as hard as Lee or a Ten Ten will have to work to become 10% as strong as Naruto) and one of the two most important people of his generation.

Hagoromo and his brother brought peace to the world by defeating the 10 tail beast, then before the 6 path death he cause a beef between his son's and cause a forever cycle of hate.

Ashura vs Indra then Hashirama vs Madara, then The 3th Hokage vs Danzo, then Jaraiya vs Oroachimaru, then Obito vs Kakashi, now Naruto vs Sasuke (I know Kishimoto is so repetitive and wash up as a writer now).

Then at the end of Naruto & Sasuke fight, Naruto will found a way to change their destiny of forever fighting each other, to come together to defeat something bigger (maybe the Sage mother) and they will gain the power of Hagaromo and his Brother then bring peace to the world together (then Kishi can make a spin off manga of Naruto and Sasuke kids, being best friends and defeating villains together).

This chapter brings up a lot of questions and revelations:
Wait, is Kaguya>Hagoromo?
So SO6P had a brother?What happened to him?Did he die fighting the 10-tails?
Will he talk to Sasuke too?

The whole manga has this recurring theme, from the brothers to Hashi and Madara...Then finally Naruto and Sasuke.The manga has been about this conflict.Genius VS Hard work. This cycle being broken will be the finale for this manga.

I've been wondering for a while: who is there to do it? Naruto would be the obvious option, he has pledged to do so. But I think Sasuke would be the key for this. Besides,Kishi needs to redeem him somehow. Konoha needs a reason to accept him. Those two tag-teaming would probably defeat Madara.

Now the two other important clans, Hyuuga and Uzumaki. Kishi has been hinting they are also related to the Ashura and Indra.Now a possible theory is that the Sage's bro had two kids too. A daughter(Uzumaki ancestor) and a son(Hyuuga ancestor). It could be like a peaceful,slightly less powerful parallel.I don't think this will happen though,just food for a thought.

Another theory is that Ashura and Indra each had two kids. Ashura's kids were each the ancestors of the Uzumaki clan and the Senju clan.Indra's kids could each be the ancestor of the Hyuuga clan and the Uchiha clan respectively. Again,I don't really think this is true. Just another possibility.

Argh,I can't wait until the next chapter!

I liked the chapter.

But I hate the fact that naruto always gets the easy way out on knowledge.
Like when his father minato appeared to him on his near death battle with Pain.
And then there is Itachi, who gave him shishui's eye.
so now the Hermit appears to him to explain all things.
making it so easy to predict that indeed naruto is the chosen one and no one else..

but ofcourse thats the point of the whole story. I just wish it could have told better, plot wise, i mean..

Its not that people are looking down on others who are intelligent. Because of that intelligence people often let pride and in difference get in the way. They (sasuke) felt that the help of others wasn't necessary. Naruto never had the love of a family. Someone to tell him of his worth. People need to hear that they have promise. Naruto was scorned for most of his life. Naruto never was taught, so he has always had to play catch up. Naruto is smart where and when it counts. Sasuke could not except that he was strong enough. He was weak in the ways of life.
