Just because the majority thinks so doesn't mean it's wrong either. Millions of people think for example that the continent of Africa should get more help developing, are they wrong then. There, I used a useless comparison too.

May people bash this chapter but for me this is a good chapter in fact I rate it 5 especially when Lee said that his sensei is an autumn leaves who will serve as sacrifice for the young leaves. I don't care what they are going to say but for me this is a great chapter. Those who rate 1 are heartless people

Questions after this chapter:
1. It was stated that Gai couldn't use any ninjutsu, how was he able to summon the tortoise, back when he was about to fight Kisame during Narutos training?

He had to have developed Ninjutsu as he grew over time. That's the only explanation I can think of.

I don't really care for Guy's flashbacks. And what's with Guy's father telling him, "The fact that you cannot use Ninjutsu or Genjutsu makes me happy" (*********** T/N)?
Guy forms seals and uses Summoning Technique. Isn't that ninjutsu?
I thought talent to use ninjutsu is like capability to use magic in Harry Potter: You can observe it in childhood itself.

cause it really looks Madara went back to the ground to get his ass whipped which really doesn't make sense, since he has acknowledged that the eighth gate can do some damage to him.

Gai is a god damn &^*%ing boss.

Flashbacks were so... out of place... though. It's just an elongated face of Gai with some black bricks on his face talking to a miniature Gai who hasn't learned to be a tit yet... in fact, it wasn't that sucky, just comic relief and really out of place.

I enjoyed the chapter. Sure I never really asked myself who Gais dad was, but i sure as hell was wondering who taught him the 8 gates tech. Plus I think that it is the perfect parallel for Gai and Lee. It just fits the moment. And now the hype is back for the unveiling of this new technique. Regardless of whether or not you like it, it is widely considered to be bad storytelling not to give such a main character a backstory. The timing of it was fine, you just expect a manga to be 100 percent action.

Good chapter. Really enjoyed Might Dai's charachter and it fully explains guy's relentless positive attitude towards everything and anything in life. The 8th gate looks epic as well! Guy was turning into the human torch!. Only sad thing is his death is now confirmed...unless...

I was just thinking that, Madara is a massive knob! He could litterally just fly away and chill until the tree blooms ( 15 mins ) but noo, slaughter everyone...for peace n stuff.

this chapter was awesome the flashback on guy was nice we finally see why he is so full of youth and who taught him the gates. we also got to see the swordsman who came before chojiro and zabuza and dai might have actually killed some of them which resulted in zabuzas entering

also the base is so predictable as soon as a flashback appears its instant hate its a story peeps and expanding on the history of the series is always good and this is guys moment so its good that kishi is showing us his past heck if this was one piece guy would have had a volumes worth of flashback which would have been nice actually

i give the chapter 4/5 as its what i was wanting kishi to do and it ended on a high note as the eighth gate looks badass as all hell
