[Predictions] Naruto Manga Chapter 668 Discussion and 669 Predictions

Whoever said this chapter would be full of flashbacks, with Gai beginning his assault on the last page, good call. Honestly, this felt like 5 pages, I'm a bit disappointed.

But, since the eight gate has opened, I'll give this a 5/5. (If it weren't for that it would have easily been a 0/5.)

Guys, we should be reasonable when it comes to the ratings...

Rating this chapter a 1 is really unfair, it was an insightful chapter of a character leading to his death although I'll admit it was dragged out. Maybe Kishi went about it the wrong way by leaving us with the suspense of an epic chapter this week and only be slapped with flashed backs, mind you they included the 7 mist swords men. Overall, we had expectations and the chapter did not reach those but it wasn't make it a bad chapter.

The same goes for those who rated the Chapter a 5. It was not that WOW that after reading it you'd tell your mate it's a must read or leave you begging for next. Like I said, it was an insightful chapter.

We all love this Manga that's why we wait every week, regardless it was good or not the previous week.

I think we should rate chapters fairly BUT at the end of the day, I get we different and not everyone will be moved the same by a chapter.

Basically what happens when you spend your whole series building up only 2 characters.... no one really gives a sh*t about the rest.

That batch of Seven Swordsmen. We can name 3 of them: Fuguki Suikazan, Kushimaru Kuriarare, Jinin Akebino, while one of them looks like Raiga Kurosuki (an anime-only character) and another that looks like Jinpachi Munashi (upper left corner of the panel). As for the two remaining, they look like Zabuza's and Chojuro's fathers lol

That flashback shock clock cheese... I'm disappointed with this chapter, the only good highlights about the whole chapter is his dad teaching him the 8 gates, those swordsman and madara getting surprised.

I wonder if Gai can survive the 8th gate even if it means "certain death" , something like : Obito kills Gai before the technique kills him and then he can revive him along with the others since technically he was killed by Obito. Just like Nagato reviving everyone he killed at the end.

Would you guys like some cheese to go with all your whining? Seriously,It wasn't THAT bad! I've seen worse. It was nice seeing Guy and his father and learning who taught him that jutsu. So stop complaining and find something productive to do.

I didn't mind this flashback, added depth to Guy. Until now I always thought his character was flat.

I loved how Kishi reached back for a filler character. People make a big deal, but the anime teams aren't liscenced to just make new stuff. They've got to run things past him first, which means he probably tells them about characters he wasn't able to put in the manga.

Imagine if Kishi was able to use every little thing he created? This manga would end up being 1000 chapters. There's this thing called pacing, which is why editors exist in publishing.

Nice Kishi, he first gets rid of the funny Tobi, now he's killing Gai. No funny characters will be left.
