I dont understand why everyone's complaining. This chapter is AMAZING!!! There's so much character development and it actually gives some highlights to other characters other than the typical naruto/sasuke etc. There's also so much action in this chapter, damn I cannOt wait to see all these actions on the anime. Very exilarating.

The goods:
-naruto and sasuke's rivalry
-kiba's and shino's new texhnigue
-Ino becoming a high level sensory ninja
-new ino shika cho combo
-hinata taking another step and gonna use both 64 palms and lion fists at the same time (that'll be way more powerful than neji's 64 palms)
-And I literally jizzed at the last page.

What I didnt like:
-sai's show off failure was disappointing. I was expecting a new cool jutsu from him. Also, him begging for naruto's power instead of trying on his own like the others. :/
-Lee and ten ten are not part of the action.

Am I the only one who finds the konoha 11 annoying. Excluding sasuke, naruto, neji and shikamaru I hate the rest. Shino is not terrible like the rest but that is about it.
choji is asolutely lame and has no real character development. In part 1 he acting like a d*ck fat guy and then they try to pretend like he is so kind. Can anyone give me one example of when he was kind to anyone other than made up flashbacks where he is just being a punk

chapter was alright, we finally saw some action from the characters we actually cared about, albeit some combos were a bit cheesy. Granted after seeing the first page I wanted more sasuke/naruto rivalry and them working in tandem, but the final page made up for my slight disappointment. I like the whole next-gen sannin deal too. Therefore i give this chapter 4/5 because the plot wasn't advanced much, but we saw a bunch of ninja kicking ass. Oh, and Sai got PWND!!!

If it wasn't for Manda dieing it would have been cool to see Sasuke summon Manda, Naruto summon Gamabunta and Sakura summon Katsuyu all at the same time and have them work together.

I guess i was sort of right, but when did Manda come back to life? He died.

dude, this chapter was weak. and sakura's new power...i expected something original. it's all shitty copies now. history is repeating itself and all of that. it kinda sucks, honestly. other than naruto's rasen shuriken, no one in team 7 seems to have developed their own signature jutsu. would love to see some new power in sasuke's new eyes, and am rooting for it. a lot! and i am giving it a very generous 4 because i like the fact that we saw sasuke's new eyes. i am a sucker for different sharingan patterns.

also, fingers crossed that kakashi does not die. but it think kishimoto has to kill someone off from the good side, and sasuke being the last of the uchiha clan, he is out of the question. sakura must not die, for it would be too much of history repeating itself (like with rin). naruto, of course, does not die. ever. so, we are not left with that many options on the table.

finally, god, please make orochimaru be working an angle. i'd just looooove to see that.

hem.. i already said this.. its getting boring and more boring .. especially recent chapter.. i really missed the earlier version such as during the chuunin exam .. kishi elaborate and plot are more interesting.. soo ninja .. now its just a show for a powerfull jutsu and too many event is one chapter.. so it become dull and boring

=DHi everyone, i'm new here.i have been reading some of the comments from NB for a while, after couple naruto's chapter i had to register.
now let me get with it. I don't get why a lot of people hate this chapter, it may not be the best/most exciting chapter but it was needed. from what I've seen almost all naruto fan was complaining about the lack of screen time K11 was not getting, also a lot of people were complaining about them not advancing( techniques and etch). this chapter was the chapter that show the result of their long training. When Naruto and Sasuke was training, K11 wasn't just seating around picking there nose and waiting for Naruto. Everybody was training in the background. it was nice to see them show off their skilled, i'll admitted kishi fail on making other character beside the main characters more interesting, especially in this chapter but it was still good. for the people complaining about Sakura, i don't think sakura could do what she doing right now prior the war arc, because she was constantly storing chakra in her forehead. i think her storing chakra in her forehead wasn't temporary thing were she only store chakra whenever she want, i think it was a constant thing, that result in her chakra reservoir to be very low which prevent her from the sakura we see now. i am pretty certain the chakra she using right now is not from the seal but her original chakra. i think by her saving enough chakra to activate the yin seal she is now able to use her full chakra. I don't get how people complaining about how did she get that summoning when she is a pupil of stunade. Sakura have been training by Stunade for years don't you think she will have most of/ a lot Stunade techniques, isn't that obvious. Also a lot of people are complaining about the naru/saku/sasu being in sannin level at age 16-17 while it take the sannins decade to achieve there status,well you guys got to consider the sannin didn't have any special powers, they develop/invent/created( whatever you call it) everything( techniques and etch) they have,while Naru/Saku/Sasu was just taught those techniques. wouldn't you agree it would take a lot more time to create a program than to actually learn how to use it. The reason why the team 7 surpassing or will surpassed the previous sannin is because they were taught the techniques, they didn't create them. i don't think this chapter was a total ass pull, a lot of it make since if you use LOGIC(which a lot people in here don;t uses). Lastly manda is dead that snake is probably his offspring( i don't know why he would work with Sasuke considering sakuke kill his father, but whatever). a person can have multiple summoning, it is just like a person/country having multiple contract with other people/ other countries, it just a contract i am pretty much sure you can sign more than one, that part is really simple. i am pretty certain that slugs is not katsuyu and the toad is gamichi( whatever his name is).

Probably because it's Kurama's Yang chakra he has, whereas Naruto has the Ying chakra

We all need to relax, and stop reading for a few months. I'm sure by the time you start reading again chapter after chapter it will make sense, this one boring chapter every few weeks followed by an okay one is getting annoying.
