This was a very good chapter but I gave it a 3/5 because Kishi wasted a lot of spaces just so that he could keep pushing the flash backs for longer period... now this flash backs will end in 2 weeks for me Zzz.... However this chapter explained quite a lot to me:
It showed how much Hashirama actually regards Madara; even after defeating Madara, he would rather kill himself rather than take Madara and the loosing party's life. There after, they both showed love and respect to each other and made the village (as they said it was mainly built by Hashirama, since he has the wood technique) but Hashirama would then unselfishly let Madara name the village. Later Hashirama thought of the position of a Hokage so that Madara could take more glory, but because of the situation (due to Madara loosing his credibility) Tobirama managed to force his ideology on his brother about letting village decide and all that (I think Hashirama is too soft in every way).
Madara was not born evil, just like Tobirama said before, the Uchiha's love is too entangling as we saw with the choices he made because of his lost brothers by not keeping his friendship with Hashirama. Whereas I think that of the senju is relentless as we have seen with Hashirama..... Madara is a man who has fought all his life, he stomached a lot of things became strong but yet fell in battle to Hashirama and faced defeat, lost what he wanted to protect the most (Izuna Uchiha, his brother). All these things made him seem like a failure, and then to wrap it with him loosing the trust of his own clan is just to heavy.
WHY MADARA LEFT THE VILLAGE: Madara really liked Hashirama as a brother, so he didn't mind when hashirama was elected the hokage because he knew Hashirama had a good heart but as he said, it's just been like a silent war so somehow it showed that he was hurt by the villager regarding Hashirama more than him and putting him in the shadows. Hashirama knew this so he tried to make Madara feel better with the position of a 2nd hokage, but Madara was worried that after Hashirama, Tobirama his younger brother would be elected the 2nd hokage due to the fact that he seemed like a failure and also the village will choose Hashirama's blood brother compared to madara his acclaimed brother. Madara knew and could see what will happen to Uchiha clan if Tobirama would become the 2nd hokage...
:heh:Also another reason that Madara left is that; he saw the true meaning of what was on the stone because he had the better eyes. After looking at that stone, he realised that he could power up even more than where he is, and to do so, he had to go and train even more where he won't be seen, and then try to get the other side of the blood line (hence why he murdered the Uzumaki clans but if that didnt work for his experiment), so he would then come from outside to fight and try to defeat Hashirama and take his cells.
So his evil intents (i.e his newly found goal) plus Tobirama as an obstacle turned him inside out.
TBH, I think Hashirama will remove and collect all his cells back now that he has realised what has happened... there is a reason that Kishi made him unbound from edo tensei... when he meets madara he will surely collect it and Madara will feel naked hmm
Madara tried to persuade his clansmen to leave Konoha NOT because he couldn't get himself chosen as Hokage, but because he foresaw that there is no place for his clansmen under Tobirama's reign. But since no one in his clan bought his argument, he left the village alone.so if you really look at it madara did the right thing poor guy if only his clan saw the way that he did the clan would have still been there WHAT A DRAGGG
Yea because Sasuke having the village put the hit out on him, his family, clan and used his older brother to do the job(which Itachi couldn't kill him because he love Sasuke more than anything). Set Sasuke up to be a orphan and hate his brother, because he believe he is power hungry villian(instead of atleast to the other in the village, some way a sick hero), than he end up killing his only family member left, because he got play by the village. So I guess you right, Sasuke shouldn't get any sympathy, so I hope your goverment put the hit out on you, your family, race and use a member of your family to do the duty, because I can say "who give a dame he still kissing the flag".
Madara lost his family in war with his rival clan, before Senju & Uchiha join together(not being play, back stab or lie to) and the Uchiha clan didn't trust Madara, because they thought he kill his brother to get EMS. I like Madara, but Sasuke have more reason to get back at the village or try to take over the ninja world, with force(anything else, would be bull sh#t).
Listen, pal... I don't understand why you have to misinterpret my post, because i didn't say that Sasuke shouldn't get any sympathy at all. I'm just saying that Sasuke pretty much took his revenge when he defeated Danzo in the Kage Summit Arc. What's more is that the village is already destroyed, so what more destruction can the village have at this point? Itachi already told Sasuke what he felt in regards of him pursuing his villainous antics. You can recall the first time that Sasuke and Itachi reunited after their fight-- that it was Sasuke who said to the latter that he was the one responsible for making him a criminal. In fact, Sasuke didn't feel exhilarated about his past actions; but he did those actions because of the sorrowful feelings he felt about Itachi being used by Konoha. When Sasuke and Itachi joined forces to defeat Kabuto-- it was a fight that showed Itachi trying to slowly persuade Sasuke to change his mind. Sasuke was reluctant to hear Itachi completely, because he felt that revenge was his still his number one priority. Before Itachi vanished due to the effects of Edo Tensei's cancellation, you saw the flashbacks of what led to the Uchiha Massacre. Once Sasuke saw all that information he needed through a genjutsu via Itachi. He had a calm look because he found out the truth without feeling confused about the story itself. You saw Sasuke having that 'poor konoha' face when he saw how much it changed during his return. Sasuke is getting vulnerable and i believe that he will change soon.
The reason that i say sympathize with Madara more so than Sasuke is because he didn't have closure with that matter. Hashirama was actually not the problem it was Tobirama. When Madara overheard Tobirama saying that the people of Konoha don't trust him and that he won't get elected as Hokage. Madara took offense to the citizen's distrust over him, because he felt that he wasn't given a chance to prove himself. He then realized that being on the good side was detrimental to his personification. The only way he felt right was embracing hatred (such as Sasuke) but he was over the fact that he couldn't protect anyone, gain the trust of his fellow citizen's and losing the trust of his Uchiha clansmen. I pity Madara because at least Sasuke had people supporting him-- "thick and thin." The only person that supported Madara was Hashirama to a sense, but that wasn't enough for Madara.
I agree with you a that Hashirama is Madara advacate.
But, let's be perfectly clear, there is no way that Uchiha Sasuke can destroy the Leaf Village by himself. Ever. Madara and Tobi couldn't do it with the Nine-Tails fox as backup. Even if Oroshimaro helps Sasuke they can not destroy the Leaf Village.
So stop all of the worrying and speculating about what Sasuke will do, who cares. Naruto and the rest of the village will/can take care of them two.
Just stop it!
Yeah the probably tuned him up but his may have already been a ninjaDefinitely not! Don't forget that twas Hashirama and Tobirama that trained a young Hiruzen.
