Most likely, Hashirama's dad may die here. Which is how Tobirama gains hatred for the Uchiha clan, as we can see he is very close to his dad. And Madara hatred for the Senju dosen't grow until his brother isn't killed, as he will feel guilty for not being able to protect him. Maybe Tobirama kills Izuna when Madara took his eyes?

I still don't see how this answers Sasuke's question.. But I guess their story is interesting.

I think he is stressing that they both wanted peace and an end to constant warfare ... so the village was borne as a dream to protect the minds and lives of the younger generation and to maintain a everlasting future peace ...

And the role of shinobi in history was short lived constant bloodshed so upon educating the young they basically build the UN shinobi's in modern times are skilled but there main purpose to to uphold the peace set out by madara's and hashi's dream ... to show how far madara had fallen i think it' safe to say

When izuna is killed by tobirama and his dad is handled by hashi's dad madara's mind just snaps into hate and darkness cause we paraelle sasuke with this whole retelling no jutsu ... so very similar his bro will be killed and he will begin to hate hashi prolly blaming him for the incident then there playful rivirly will turn into the valley of the end where hashi used the 1000 HANDS to bitchslap so much sence into him he died ... or so we thought lol

anyways thats what i am getting from the story so far it's basically sasuke and naruto just names are being subbed out... so naruto=hashi sasuke=madara history is then playing itself in a loop ...

Good issue. If only Naruto was released once a month so that maybe we could have an issue the length of a standard comic book at the very least. Being spoon fed so little story at a time is rather obnoxious. Reading Naruto each week is like trying to watch a youtube video that is constantly buffering every 15 seconds. Considering the story has been moving more slowly in general some longer issues would really be ideal.

Naruto 623 gets a 4/5 from me. Couple of important facts, overall it was enjoyable, but in general it was meh.

Great chapter this week. Good to know that Madara's personality was not always an evil one. He also wanted to protect Izuna, He wanted a safe village. So hashirama was the one to come up with the ninja rating system: the academy that trains them up; the Genin, Chunnin, Jounin etc classification and the class of works they do.

This is a story in development, at least we would get to see what made Madara hate the Senju clan so much & possibly see the underlying reason for his tsukuyomi plan. Madara was also once nice.

That was not the valley of the end where they fought, that is where present Konoha is. Valley of the end lies at the boundary of the country of fire.

Madara and Hashirama are really close friends I think best friends. Both warned each other about the trap that they are being watched. Can't wait for the next episode.

How does one not give this a 5/5, easily one of my favorite chapters in the whole series. Made me like Madara a little more, and some proof of Tobirama's theory about Uchiha's, and that rock message on the last chapter!

Is it safe to say Hashirama and Madara's bond is currently stronger than Naruto and Sasuke's?

Edit: After rereading the chapter, Madara is, or will become a very interesting character, Sasuke/Itachi like.
