Though it was nice to see the battle between Madara and Hashi, I think there is a lot to be said for leaving much of that fight to the imagination. Even though it is epic, it doesn't seem to have the legendary impact it once did now that we know all of the details. That coupled with the fact that Orochimaru told Hashi that they were in a rush..... yet he still insists on giving a play by play of his battle with Madara. It's just really unnecessary.

And.... the whole meeting as children thing, I liked it, but it just seems odd. I was always lead to believe that they met as adults and forged an uneasy alliance. On the upside, this was the only part of the issue that advanced the story at all.

As far as Orochimaru>Hashirama, Hashirama would kill him like a small dog. Don't get me wrong I am a pretty big Oro fan. In fact I think he is one of the best fictional villains that has ever been crafted. When it comes to skill, he's got nothing on Hashi.

For all of those who say no one can stop Hashirama, you are wrong. Kabuto can summon tons of great ninjas that together not even Hashirama could defeat. The sword of totsuka and Tsukuyomi would be a 1 hit KO on Hashi so Itachi beats him as well.

I could never give a chapter like this a 5/5 I am amazed anybody would. I give it a 2/5 which is a shame because I gave the one before this a 4/5. The big fight between madara and hashirama turned aout to be nothing more than a giant game of pokemon or yugiyo ...what a let down. Again instead of classic ninja action this is all about who can summon what and who has the biggest summon. I am heavily disappointed with the fact that the direction is going into the large scale hindu and other eastern gods and myths and I feel like its doing nothing but promoting eastern teaching and has totally abandoned the true ninja and action that naruto mangas had before.

Kishimoto ....seriously stop with the flashbacks I am sure sasuke wanted to hear the truth not sit down and listen to a flashback of when they were kids and here we go again Madara is jealous and feels bitter. Hashirama is care free and friendly. Then the two clash over a girl or over some stupid jealousy competition that gets blown out of proportion .....then they become bitter enemies. How typical can this all get. Now were going to have to brace our selves for what I call manga filler of the two going through everything I described.

The last manga was going somewhere and had us all buzzed in on what the hokages were doing. This one was all about promoting kishis religion and showcasing hashirama has the mystical 3rd eye and the diety with 10000s of arms ......I wanted to see some classic uchiha and senju combat with tiajutsu and swords and flames and moktun style not this crap. 2 out of 5 and lucky I was being generous prepare yourselves for filler both anime and the manga.

Yeah it was short but it was amazing to see their power (specially Hashirama - this guy is just out of this world powerful) and it seems we´re diving into some flashbacks, which I don´t mind, and it´s also a way to foreshadow things between Naruto and Sasuke.

You are comparing apples with pears. There is no corrolation between Pokémon or Yu-Gi-Oh and Naruto what-so-ever.

Again instead of classic ninja action this is all about who can summon what and who has the biggest summon. The gods and deities are in parallels to how powerful and strong their powers are. You do know that a user can make his own jutsu, right? Perhaps these jutsu's are just the way Hashirama likes to do it. I think it is VERY fitting to see the God of Shinobi use jutsu that correspond with real life deities. Also, we are beyond the scale of ninja now. Madara and Hashirama are beyond the "ninja" term. Again, they're both seen (together with the Sot6P) as the most powerful ninja's to have ever walked the planet. You are BOUND to see jutsu that far exceed the normal grunt. Do NOT take Madara or Hashirama as the typical ninja, because they do not reflect the typical ninja. They reflect something much more powerful, which are semi-gods (kind of like Greek heroes / half-gods).

The way you say that "Madara is jealous and feels bitter" really undermines the complete back-story of Madara... This chapter is a prequel to the major sufferance and pain that Madara has felt in his life. It is a prelude to the path Madara took, the amount of pain he suffered and how powerful he became as a result. Don't be so superficial with the characters. You have no idea how powerful the concept of love is. I don't think you've personally experienced it yourself, as you find it a weak argument for people to start war for. In a world where love is one of the most precious things, yes, fighting for it makes complete sense.

There are NUMEROUS battles of people using typical Taijutsu and Ninjutsu! We are FINALLY seeing the most famous battle in NARUTO UNIVERSE and you call it "crap"? How can you call yourself a fan.

lmao. People always believed that Hashirama used the Kyuubi to fight against Madaras perfect Susanoo, now it appears Hashirama fought both combined. Madara himself is a beast like no other apart from Hashirama, too. One swing of Susanoos sword slices 20 mountains and he's able to cover Kyuubi, who is under his control with it. Amazing power scales.

Hashirama is a real bad-ass, Madara too. The action that this chapter had was limited but was still good. I really like where the manga is headed (learning about their past history now)

Good chapter however... there is one thing that caused me to sigh.

Susanno covered Bijuu...Really? Now to wait for the Uchiha fanboys to start making threads on how Sasuke is going to cover himself in Susanno and fire giant arrows out of his hands and wield a giant Amateratsu sword...

SM Hashirama FTW, seemed to me Madara got a little butt hurt from this battle considering all the advantages he had.

What a low down method of re wording my comment and adding your own spin in such a way I cant reply back to you with a quote Here are the facts:
The battle was a let down in terms of the type of action and fighting used I preferred the fan made ideas actually.

The flashback is going to be a typical rendition of all the other flash backs, which is madara is emotional - jealous and bitter, vs hashirama is care free, caring and loving. Seriously, how many times have we seen these comming?

The battle itself was nothing more than Godzilla vs mecha godzilla ...Plus the whole third eye thing was a let down ...saw it coming I and I am waiting for when madara or obito grows thier 3rd eyes too I guess it will be the sharringan infused with rinnegan how lame.

Next chapter will be a boring flashback of the two most overrated shinobi in the series. What happened to sasuke and naruto? answer the same that happens to madara and hashi. A silly rivalry gone way out of control.

I will give this manga a break until we see some hokages and development in the war.

I am a fan but this manga was a utter failure and let down sasuke is such a dummy for holding things up and to top it off were going to have to go through another flashback most likely when hashirama and madara meet again. If they meet at all at this pace.

The chapter was so short I thought my pages were not loading properly. Go back and read the first 100 chapts and tell me these latest chapters are normal. No they are much shorter and filled with pointless large scale battles because of either lazyness or lack of vision. It does not feel like kishimoto is working anymore.

I am not bitter or angry just sad that the biggest shinobi battle in history is nothing more than a glorified yu gi yo battle aka pokemon demon summoning showdown mixed with eastern philo lessons of hindu gods. I gave the last chapter a 4/5 but this has sunken to a 2/5 anybody giving this more than a 4 has lost my respect and does not know what good writing is. I hope people understand and speak up.
