The uchiha clan massacre happens after the death of the 4th Hokage , and after obito has been corrupted by madara.. So its unlikely that the old madara as he looks when he finds obito actually fought minato..

since this is a FORUM OPEN FOR ANYONE'S OPINIONS . I won't bother this people who said that " this chapter sucked bigtime because I anticipated so much about on what will be the chapter is about blah blah blah ... " . Of course , Kishi won't tell us all the information at once . He should tell us bit by bit . Why are these people so hasty ? As a fan , we should wait patiently . sigh . You guys are so ridiculous , telling the latest chapter of the manga " it sucked " just because you knew what's going to happen . But remember , you just assumed ... it was never confirmed OFFICIALLY . wew . these people . tsk

AND it really explained clearly how Madara was living with his old age . Sucking chakra on the Gedo Mazo was kinda creepy . It gave me goosebumps for such creepiness . Not sure though why he had only one eye left . Maybe Izanagi ? Just a guess . and Obito's struggle at Madara's lair was so sad . He wants to be with the team again , together with Kakashi and Rin . Well , let's just wait for the next chapter !

oh nice..now i have another theory..
maybe madara used a genjustu to control obitos body,..and the masked man who was able to sneak into a barrier and have so much experience and knowledge to fight minato and control the kyuubi was madara by himself through obito!!!
.. minato says ..there is only one ninja who is able to do this..and if madara was talking through obito ..the dialog of masked man make sense... and also madara need obito because he says in 602..you need 2 of them to awake their full potential..
and the reason why obitos body and strength increase so hard.. had something do to with the harashima dna, the zestu and madara..!

One thing I don't understand is how Madara said that Obito surviving the boulder was a miracle and that he found him in the underground passage coincidentally. So is he saying that he didn't intend to find Obito and Obito found his way to him? If so, how is it possible that Madara knows Obito saved Kakashi and Rin? Therefore, I guess my question is did Madara intend to find Obito or was he just a pawn he could use? Maybe Zetsu was the one recording Obito before the crush and relayed the info the Madara. However, it looks like there are incomplete Zetsu experiments hanging from Mazou. Im so confused lol.

If you re-read the manga chapter , you will understand that Nagato was always shown with his hair covering his eyes. However the time when nagato activates his rinnegan is when some shinobi attacks yahiko.. Nagato has a blackout while saving yahiko and by the time konan gets jiraiya , both the shinobi who attacked yahiko are dead. Both yahiko and nagato have no memory of how the shinobi died. its possible that madara knocked out nagato and implanted those rinnegan in him during this point. By the time jiraiya reaches he notes that nagato has activated the rinnegan. Probably just implanted by madara and permanently activated.

what are you talking about have u been reading what everyone else have been reading? 1st off it was madara who destroyed the 5 kages wether it was a cloneor not. obito mustve end up activating kamui and going through the ground and happened to fall in that dimension and madara patched him up (coincidence) and technically it is obito he just has zetsu slime attached so that his body wont rip apart im not trying to be funny towards you im just saying some of those questions u asked were already answered but the rest im wondering to how he got away from hashirama and the transplant....i doubt he can transplant his own eye

Nagato is first shown using the rinnegan when his parents are killed.
the chapter was alright but there was too much 'banter' useless pages devoted to crap we already knew, that sort of dialogue should just be put into the anime, seeing as how they are constantly stretching out conversation more than they need to in it.

What i love the most about this community is that the people that complain about this and then complain about that, talk crap about the manga and kishi hate it so much, yet come back the next week. there's no such a wrong opinion. if some one has a theory big deal. don't talk down to them. And if you hate the Manga so much take yourself somewhere else or just shut your effin c*ck holster.
4/5... To all the ppl who commented saying "let things happen" or "the timelines don't matchup" or "it doesn't make sense" remember that this thread is chapter discussion and predictions...with that being said.
Yes earlier in the Manga Nagato had seemingly normal eyes and could activate Rinnegan with stress early on.. If you think about it if he did have Rinnegan 24/7 when he first met the Sannin do you really think Orochimaru would have let that possible expirement escape his grasp?
Obito's comment about the lower parts was much needed humor for a manga which has stepped away from laughter for some time.. I mean the Beginning of the serious was full of such humor..
One thing I am interested in is the full extent of the Fan these Uchiha fella's keep swinging around... it is definately interesting.
I find it interesting that everyone was afraid of Itachi's Sharingan because of his genjutsu's prowess... but no concerns have been shown as to Madara's and Obitio's ability to use genjutsu although I'm sure they can... I mean no comments about don't look them in the eye and so forth.. <----curious guy here
I think the theories on Zetsu being a key player is kind of lax based on the fact that Madara is SOOOO OP and Obito is kind of a wrench in the whole scheme of things... why would they put a no-name no-history no-interest zetsu as a main heal for this series.. I also remember in a previous chap that the white Zetsu asked Sasuke if he had killed the main Zetsu already...
What peaks MY interest the most is

Who if you think about it is the prime character for the antagonistic side of this manga... he was difficult for them to beat even after the 3rd fight when he was incapacitated temporarily.
Naruto and the 9 names:
this chap led me to believe that he would be the revival of the Sage of 6 Paths... Really liking the idea of this.
Kages dieing or not:
Just as it sounds either Tsunade is dieing and saving erryone or erryone is surviving or what... i mean Kishi you dirty dirty guy giving us one capture of the aftermath of their downfall... i am so ready to see the results... am i alone?

Regardless of how he changed to be the advocate of Madara, it still happened so with this flashback i am not looking for why as much as what happened to Rin, and how in approx a year to 2 years did he become capable of manipulating the Kiyuubi and stand toe to toe with Minato... granted minato was more concerned about the 9 tails than "Tobi" at the time.... I think we need to keep that in consideration their fight was very short and planned so that Minato was merely Reacting where as "Tobi" was following through...goes that make sense? More on this flashback would be Primo for me.
Sidebar: Does anybody remember the Uzumaki story... I feel that their Prowess as one of the Top clans is a subject that i would like to see more on. I mean all "I" know is that the 1st hokage's wife was one... and he was strong as they come so they say, and Nagato was one as well ie Pain, Also Karin is one, and if i remember sometime in the series it was said i believe by Naruto's mother that when their Village was destroyed the Uzumaki's were spread throughout the 5 Nations to balance power... "just like the Tailed Beast" ... this history still intrigues me... I know the Uchiha are kickass and the Senju but COME ON! lol

i always figured Obito was half zetsu. It just wouldn't make any sense if he wasn't. Makes me wonder if they can only leave that place if they are using the zetsu suit to slip in and out of the cave they are in.
