[Predictions] Naruto Manga Chapter 599 Discussion and 600 Predictions

why can people just accept facts?!?!?! i mean...its not like any of yall guesses were even in the manga....everything that was done led to tobi being obito...following kakashi's life led to that...

Tobi is Obito.
That is now a fact why?
- Chapter titled Obito Uchiha
- Uchiha's crest in 'Tobi's' back
- Face recognition from Gai and Kakashi.
- Clear message at the end of the chapter "It's finally revealed his name is Obito'
It's time we move on. We should target our thinking into understanding 'how it happened'.
I preferred Tobi as a 'masked character' with an unknown identity.
Something I don't understand is - why naruto fans hate the idea of 'Obito' being Tobi?
I personally like it. To me, it makes sense that he defeated the 4th (not one on one, but with the help of the Kyubi), knew so much about the Uchiha, and else.
The reason is - Kishimoto's love of repeating themes throughout Naruto's history - the hatred cycle. The 3rd and Orochimaru, the 4th and Obito, Kakashi and Sasuke. It's simple really. All of them were driven by hate and amounted magnificent power. Obito - from the other two, didn't start as a balanced character, but we could have said the same of Naruto - who now controls Kurama's chakra.
In all, manga mistakes can occur (like, how did Kakashi and Obito got a Mangekyou if no one really died (or maybe the both killed Rin?!)) but some 'plot holes' others are claiming are just... ideas, stories, etc. that lived in a fan mind that never happened.

Hey man thanks for the reply, anyway I lol'ed at the bolded line..hehe isn't that what the manga is all about? hehe whiny kids, full of pain and hatred..etc. those kind of stuff..hehe.. I believe kishi is trying to show an alternative path to a 'Naruto' type of character, you know, the "what ifs"...that's why tobi is there..and I think just like what you agreed with me those 4 stooges had really played a big part to the 180 degrees turn of Obito to Tobi (manipulation, conditioning, deceiving):ice:

makes more sense now to think why when sasuke first met Tobi/Obito his face looked like that of an old man. it also makes sense why when he fought with the fourth his arm seemed made from the white zetsu substance. everything falls into place now, somehow Obito was found by Madara and was regiven his smashed arm and face using the white zetsu. we also understand why he wants his moon eye plan to succeed, because he couldnt be with Rin and from what we know she died too.

guys the next chapter is 600th and am betting kishi wont spend it explaining y tobi is obito. i bet he would reverse troll us saying that its actually someone else in obitos body, like orochimarus body transfer jutsu . am guessing its izuna uchina.... he needed a new sharingan anyway
It could also be that Orochimaru taught Izuna the body switch jutsu and then Izuna used it on Obito, but in recent chapters Tobi talked as if he knew Kakashi("Youve always been like that or something") When Orochimaru joined Akatsuki he got to be Itachi's partner. I found this to be strange cos Tobi/Madara and Ororchimaru probably knew each other and about Orochimaru's intentions. Still they let him be Itachi's partner. Maybe Tobi/Madara wanted Oro's body switch jutsu and in exchange they let him be Itachi's pair.
But basically Im suprised that some ppl didnt see this coming, Tobi being Obito(or atleast having hes body). Missing left eye, slimy replaceable body parts on the right side and similar MS with Kakashi

Okay okay i am glad that some part of Obito is involved with Tobi but i still have two not so unique theories.
1. Izuna is sharing Obitos body because he seems to know Kakashi but also because of all the info he has about the village, uchiha, senju, and so6p.
2. That Tobi is Obito and Zetsu and that he is completely himself but he is a disciple nd student of Madarra

How come it will be Obito, when the Kyubi Attack Happens, Kakashi and Gai are still young, lolz...
So Obito being Tobi is dumb first of all, too many plot holes. Also, Kakashi was ****ing 14 when the Kyuubi attack happened, therefore Obito would have been 14 also. He was not 16, or older, or whatever else anyone seems to think. The Third World War ended 17 years ago, that's a fact. It ended shortly after the Battle of Kanabi(sp?) Bridge, where Obito "died." The Kyuubi attack was 16 years ago, also a fact since Naruto is 16 and he was obviously born on the day the Kyuubi attacked. Kakashi is 30 in current time, so 30-16=14. You can't tell me the Tobi who attacked Minato was 14, his body style is distinctly that of an adult, and Kishi draws adults and teenagers noticeably different. Tobi should have had Kakashi's body style at the time if he was 14, which he should have been if it was Obito. Another plot hole right there. But I'm not going to go into that, this post is for another reason. I don't know if anyone else thought of this, or if I am just seeing things, but doesn't Obito in the last page, the bottom left panel, kind of look like that Uchiha dude that had half his face blacked out in the flashback scenes when Tobi was explaining everything to Sasuke? I like the way you think. heres my take i think he wrapped out by mistake, at the break of death. this give him all the time in the world to train and become stronger. what do you think about that??

This does not make sense. Minato was not hokage during the Ninja war. He was just a jounin as was kakashi who was just made a jounin and was the team leader. Now im really disappointed....should minato's face be on the mountain wall behind obito in page 7? i dont think he was the hokage then.. he became hokage only later right? did kishi mess up??
