i have two theorys,

one: orochimaru saved him that day at the war and brought him back, did experiments on him and corrupted him. thats who zetsu could be just obito with hashirama dna fused like a clone.

two: obito is an edo tensi and was revived by the person who orochimaru is taking sasuke to and orochimaru is in league with him as he wanted an uchiha body so hes probobly been an edo tensi for a long time. this would also explain how he got his arm back after fighting konan.

remember sasuke and orochimaru is going to the person who knows everything. assuming that orochimaru did actually revived the elder son of the sage of 6 paths and hes alive but hidden and hes the one controlling all the strings here. it would explain the rinnegan as to how he came about with so many of them.

So, for all those who think Obito would have years to grow into his power before the Kyuubi Attack, let's do the math. Kakashi and Obito are the same age, and currently Kakashi is 30 years old. He was 13 Years old during the Battle of Kannabi Bridge. He was 14 during the Nine-Tails attack. Given his birthday (September 14) and the date of the attack (October 10), at most 13 months had passed since the Battle but most likely less.

So, would someone explain to me how Obito went from being a canon-fodder ninja to some Shinobi God capable of effortlessly wiping out multiple ANBU Squads and fighting on par with Namikaze Minato in a matter of months?

Or how Obito gave Nagato the Rinnegan when he had yet to even be born?

Or better yet, how he encouraged Yahiko to start Akatsuki when he was still rolling around with Team Minato?

Personally, if it wasn't for the fact that it clashes with established canon, I wouldn't have a problem with Tobi being Obito. He is a perfect foil to Naruto all things considered. But it seems to me that Kishi is just pulling this out of his ass right now.

Tobi didn't attack the fourth his mentor did. Throughout the series we have know tobi to be madara correct? Now we understand this is a lie. Remember back in history how most wars were fought or initiated? That's right boys and girls through propaganda. If obito went around claiming he wasn't the all migthy madara who would take him serious? All wars use propaganda to invoke fear, and obito claiming he was madara was a smart move on his part since madara was the main antagonist against the leaf years ago.

It perfectly makes sense Umm if you remember the flashback episode when Tobi fought with Minato, Kakashi and Gai were of the same height as Tobi, See it again to make it clear and Tobi is powerful because he has the DNA of the 1st Hokage
and Madara,If you read Narutopedia you will find that,to use the ultimate power of the Sharingan,you must have Senju cells too,that's how Tobi is so powerful,and again the Kannabi Bridge where Obito was last seen is in the Hidden Grass,Zetsu is from the Hidden Grass So he was the life saver of Obito,and from him he got the idea of cells and DNA,bcs Zetsu is itself a DNA clone,,but why did he turn evil? maybe in this process for him to be alive,he had to change into an evil,or maybe primarily the process through which he was saved turned him into an evil.or maybe the reason is just he really wants to stop wars,and he thinks the only way to stop wars is to control the people,thats why hez doing evil acts,and the best part is the emotional thing between Kakashi and Obito...

or someone else except zetsu trained obito and after that guy death obito took his mask and fought for his ideals and in this case that "someone" person is Uchiha Izuna..

Yeah, once upon a time I was on the Tobito bandwagon (i.e., back when Tobi was a new character). But then Kishi did such a great job showing why it can't be Obito by introducing various plot elements that totally contradict it. And now.... Let me just say, as politely as possible, **** you Kishi, I'm tired of your games.

But the person who fought Minato had the same S/T abilities as Tobi, and we're to believe that it's somehow because Obito's sharingan are unique.

But yeah, that's probably how it'll turn out. No sense arguing when your axioms (the manga) are not self-consistent.

This is just my theory but what if when Obito was supposedly crushed when the cave completely caved in he used his space/time transporting trick to teleport what was left of his body to the other dimesion. He probably would have done this almost instincively to save his life. from there whos to say time doesnt flow differently since it is another dimension. Obito grows up much quicker and even gains a great control over his sharingan until he is able to transport himself back to the normal dimension. From here I would assume he meets zetsu somehow who helps him to fix his body. that is atleast my theory on how he would have aged so much quicker as to why his personality changed so much or how he got so strong Im still not sure. and as far as madar goes its possible but Im just going to wait to see what Kishi says

True too, but it's so chronologically incorrect it's not funny...
If Obito knew Madara, he would be over 100+ years old at the time, since
the third by then was starting to get really old. He transplanted the Rinnegan to Nagato before his death, which was also before Obito was even born. There's nothing adding up, atm. Controlling Yagura, also before he was born..
And apparently only Obito has the unique Kamui or else current Madara would be using it against the Kage. I know I would. Lmaooo

But forreal though.. Obito in a 13 month period now 14 years old, became a grown man & had his MS activated, when it took him his death day just to activate it. And suddenly had alllllll the knowledge of the Clans' lineage, control of Kurama & immense chakra? May I repeat ALL IN ONE YEAR :sy: Kishi has too much to explain to completely tie this up, but I hope to God he proves me wrong.

This chapter sucked...Tobi could have been revealed at the end of the last chapter instead of mind screwing all the fans like Kakashi was screwing Rin (he was bending her over giving her the chidori lol)!!! Anywayz...now that I vented, I still think that Obito's body is inhabited by another being. Possibly Izuna using a technique from Orochimaru. Madara did say that "...this is HIS plan." Madara seems to have a high level of respect for Tobi unlike Nagato. Which leads me to think that its his brother Izuna. On the other hand, it is possible that Tobi called himself Madara much like the monster Frankenstein who took the name of his creator Dr. Frankenstein. Lastly, I don't believe that Tobi was behind the mask in the past. When Tobi fought Minato, he had chains that were shackled around his wrist. Why didn't he fight with his traditional scythe and guitar looking shield? Also, his hair was longer when talking to Itachi before the massacre. Obito/ Tobi has shorter hair and is combined with Zetsu...I doubt that his hair grows because he's like a zombie. Someone is changing vessels like Ironman changes armor.

Yeah i agree with you man.hehe all these tragedies orochimaru did because of his experiment. . . Since that story the war at kanabi bridge how come madara got to obito? Madara died long time ago after the fight with zenju hashirama. And wheres that chapter says that zetzu is owned by madara? As far as i've know white zetzu is a dna of the 1st, maybe they think that madara uses also a wood style technique hahaha they've seen madara in the edo tensei state that madara uses the wood style because kabuto planted the dna of the 1st to madara.hahaha eversince madara didnt know that technique. The key to this story is orochimaru. . . I will say it again to those who hated this chapter and hated the author as well, dont blame kishi if your brain defected to the truth that tobi is obito and go on rampage like a tailed beast, if you're starting to hate kishi because of this chapter then stop reading naruto manga thats not kishi's prob its yours. Dont post or shout badwords to the author it his story.

This was when Tobi talked to itachi to kill all the uchiha's, Madara felt betrayed when after Madara fought Hashirama that all the uchiha's left him so he wanted to do this for revenge. It also explains the long hair because it is exactly like madara's.

During when Tobi fought Minato it was also Madara because how could Obito Control the nine tails with just a level 3 sharingan let alone he got his but whooped by Gai in 599 Page 9.

Madara used a mask to hide his identity and when he died he entrusted everything to Obito and maybe wanted him to claim he was Madara.

It is postive that Obito and Madara knew each other; maybe Madara saved Obito when the rumble fell on top of obito and madara brainwashed obito into thinking that the Hidden Leaf Village betrayed Madara and Obito.

A mask guy who has vast knowledge of uchiha clan,senju clan,sage of the six path,madara uchiha,izuna uchiha and hashirama senju.

A mask guy who is in Kage level after 1 and half year before kyuubi attack

A mask guy who control fourth mizukage and turn into a blood mist village

A mask guy who seems to fool kisame,itachi ,pein and konan thinking his madara because of his long hair

A mask guy who also fool minato thinking his madara too (lol wtf)
