Will all find out pretty soon hopefully if its his name or technique, its just my opinion that given the context that it was spoken it is his name. Could be a technique although I doubt it due to the rareness of last names being spoken before the technique. Uzumaki rendan is the only example where its been done before, and out of all the fire/Uchiha techniques its never happened. Like I said it could be a technique but very doubtful.

Obito sure as hell wouldn't want to put everyone under a giant Genjutsu let alone even have the knowlege to do it. Obito was like Naruto, as far as the Manga is concerned he would have no part of a moons eye plan.

Chpater363, when Sasuke runs away from Deidara's giant blast, he couldn't have gone away but he somehow "got into a different space"...Is it possible like people have said before that Tobi=Sasuke from the future? Or a Sasuke from the past?

Katon means fire I know that, and I didn't hear that during what u call an elemental jutsu, and as I said before Kishimoto gave us his name at a key time where Tobi/ Kaenjin Uchiha was very upset that they're underestimating him(It slipped out because he was so mad), I don't belive naruto, kakashi, or guy heard him. Also like I said before the rareness of a jutsu mixed with a name, only example uzumaki rendan(A jutsu he made up of course to copy sasuke). Never before has a any character besides naruto mixed their name with a jutsu. I could be wrong but like I said due to the context, its my opinion that its his name. Will all find out soon enough.

Tobi has either Obito's eye or his father's...or he really is Obito's dad. That's all. It's not going to be anyone else's or Kakashi wouldn't be making these revelations. Once again...for those who have no brain. Tobi is either Obito's dad, has his dad's eye, or somehow got Obito's other eye. It's really not too hard to figure from this chapter

He summoned Mand and hid inside Manda and then Suigetsu summoned manda back, so no.

I just typed Kaenjin into wiki and Kalejin comes up. Says nothing about fire barrier and if so, send me the link, I would be happy to see it.

Are you people forgetting Everything Obito taught kakashi? He tought him his ninja way, "Those that break the rules and regulations are scum. But those who abandon their comrades are worse than scum! There is no way Tobi=/=Obito. He is completely different as it comes to goals, thoughts, and personality.

However this doesn't mean "wow you nub, yous saw Tobi's Sharingan and Technique is somehow linked to kakashi", He has Obito's sharingan probably, the one that was supposedly crushed one. Tobi had collected a lot of sharingan, probably most of them from the Uchiha massacre, but he had most likely be attempting to gain theme earlier and after the massacre(attempting to gain Shisui's eye from danzo). My thoughts are that one of the Sharingan that tobi had gained was Obito's and saw the potential power in it, therefore he started to use it. Obito was generally a good kid(didn't unlock his sharingan till he was a Chunnin). He was a person who believed in a better future, and left his future in the Hands of Kakashi and his generation.

Tobi Can't be Uchiha Obito, but he MOST LIKELY has Obito's crushed sharingan.

Obito might not have the only eye that can do this if sasuke can do susano and so can itachi and Madara then why can t more then one uchiha or uchiha eye do the S/T jutsu. just because obito eye is the only known eye that does it does not mean that others can't. we have know idea who in the clan can do what becasue they were almost all killed. plus kakashi just started using it in Shippuden. so that would mean that IF and thats a big IF Obito did survive being crushed, decided to hate Konoha, mastered tajutsu, and then almost killed the 4th as well as murdered most of the best shinobi in the leaf by controling the 9 tails.
Far fetched for a plot line.

There isn't a better translation because its the name of a Person not a Jutsu genius. you would think that something that had fire in it would atleast have the word KATON somewhere.

Very far fetched. People just can't let go that Obito is dead, and thats what makes his story so great.

yeah, but even IF, IF he survived by a miracle somehow, there is nothing that ties together the intentions of Tobi, and the intentions of Obito. Obito was proud to be a shinobi, and knew that he was weaker compared to a lot of other Uchiha. He didn't blame anyone but himself for it, and he used his determination to change Kakashi's life forever.
