So essentially... Izanami is Groundhog Day? Damn. That's one cruel ****ing jutsu.

Itachi's main strategy in this fight seems to be getting stabbed, with and without Groundhog-no-Jutsu. It gets a bit tiring to watch, but why not. He's an edo anyway, might as well.

Seems like someone always loses the fight once they lose focus and get angry/desperate/sad/any powerful emotional state. I say good luck to Kabuto, these are definitely some of his final moments. Pity he won't listen to Itachi's preaching and just focuses on his power.

Oh and Sasuke's finally being useful instead of just standing there, looking surprised! What a nice change of pace.

Overall good chapter, but the fight has gotten a bit repetitive and preachy.

:flaw: if you forget Sasuke is still ALIVE...the only reason Itachi is doing more is because 1. Sasuke would actually KILL Kabuto 2. Itachi is dead so he can rush in or protect without fear of being hurt or dying. Besides he protected Itachi with Amaterasu and Susanoo a couple of times.

Anyways this chapter was pretty decent...Izanami actually activated but I don't get how the "loop" will end. Cause at first I thought it was just another chance like when Danzo kept getting owned and came back to 'life'. Next chapter will be half Kabuto-half edo Madara.

I guess the loop ends when Kabuto decides to end Edo tensei. that cause itachi to go back and the izanami effect goes with him or else it depends on what itachi must have in his mind (his terms/conditions to end this jutsu).

a very good chapter and good to see izanami. I also happy with some progress and one more thing as some people already mentioned earlier that how can edo madara be gone so easily like this there is must be something more to it.

I gave this chapter 5/5 even though it was a little hard to follow in what was going on when it gets made into anime it will turn out great

if you want to win then it would be great! if they didn't have to keep kabuto alive then he would already be dead before he was able to figure out that he was in the forbidden genjutsu!! i love this technique.

we have to admit itachi is in the top 3 strongest motherfckers in the anime

and the price for izanami is sacrificing an eye but since itachi is edo the eye will just regenerate.

OR the eye going blind is just an illusion of the reality so it goes on and on.
he sacrifices his eye to activate izanami, creates the illusion of reality to control other's destiny but if reality is itself an illusion, his eye will still be intact in the real reality

anyway I dont think kabuto is done, cos he kept noticing that he is stepping on some kinda black feathers... so I think he will get out of it. may be sasuke will then actually fight nd unock more powers from his EMS, which kishi shld show us anytime soon

awesome chapter izanami is a beast jutsu , in a loop forever until you make the right choice and that choice has been decided by itachi, this is what you call check mate... the only way to get out of izanami in this case is to undo the edo tensei .

it's funny because izanami has been activated before the flashback , kishi is a funny dude playing us all like that.

Great chapter did not expect that that's what Izanami does but it's cool because when I was reading I was like these panels are same & then you find out he's in a infinite loop which is cool.

& I'M guessing how Itachi used Izanami on Kabuto even though Kabuto turned his eye sight off is Itachi sacrificed an eye just like Izanagi & doing means you can use it on anyone at anytime.

An infinite loop of reality, that's amazing.. Izanami is official badass.. at the cost of an MS... Itachi said he also casted another one of the Uchihas forbidden techniques.. Any wonder what that could be?.. Never the less the chapter was great.

The battle is over, Kabuto even said it at the beginning of the manga, those black feathers was probably the indicator of when the loop begins and when it ends.

Sasuke won't have to fight anymore, Kishi already spent a few chapters on this battle.. It's about damn time to move on. Itachi will gain info about edo tensei but I think the Kage's still have to defeat Madara on their own.
