Gave this week's 5/5 I think things are really getting good; don't know what creepy Kabuto's got up his sleeve - he's so overconfident, definately needs a :flaw:
Wonder if Kishi's going back to Naruto vs. Tobi next week, cos anytime a fight starts, we don't see it for weeks .

I've been thinking about something that in order to have rinnegan and have the power of the Six paths you must have both Uchiha and Senju DNA so i will conceed that Nagato must have had either a parent that was both Uchiha and one that was Senju or his eyes were Transplanted more than likely the latter but i would not rule anything out. Now that having been said does it not stand to reason that in order for Sasuke to unlock Rinnegan he would have to take in some part of Senju DNA The same way Madara Uchiha did. which I only think because of what Tobi (not the most reliable of sources) states here

when tobi was referring to power of the sage he wasn't saying that the rennigan is formed by having both senju & uchiha powers. But having both senju & uchiha power is having the power of rikoudu sage. What u are forgetting is that the sage split his power into two ways sage body & sage eye so the only ppl that could have the power awaken the rennigan are those that are descendants of rikoudu's older son - uchihas

As always, a 5/5 from me. I'm very happy to see Itachi and Sasuke fighting together and I really hope they give that snake man a good beating. I hope the Kages and Naruto are doing alright as well. I can't wait for the next chapter as usual. Great work Kishi, keep it up!

This week's chapter was pretty boring lots of talk ninjutsu and random flashbacks that didn't make any sense!!
I have to agree with some of the members that this war really sucks!!.
Personally I think that the fight between Sasuke, Itachi and Kabuto would be a lot cooler if Itachi was still alive, only to die there on the battlefield, maybe while saving sasuke?
Kishi killed off the akatsuki members too soon. He should have killed off Bee looong ago, leaving only Naruto left making him the only Jinchuuriki left. that would give the war some sort of urgency, right now its just dragging on. 5 kage fight reallllllllllllllly boring!!

Nagato's Rinnegan were planted by Tobi or Madara, it's already been stated and confirmed by both.

Rinnegan was awoken by Madara at some point before he died, which he used at some point during the fight with Hashirama, without having his DNA.

No, Izanagi does not require that you have Senju blood or DNA. It is useable by any Uchiha without Senju Blood or DNA. However, the drawback is that you lose the sight AND powers in one of your eyes.

Therefore, it cannot be used more than twice unless you have a stockpile of Uchiha eyes laying around.

The part where Senju DNA comes in, is when you want to go and regenerate your body parts (like your eyes) or you want to go and put 10 Sharingan in your arm (Danzou). Yes, you do need Senju DNA to do that (Hashirama Senju, to be exact).

By itself, Izanagi is just a really powerful jutsu that has a huge drawback. I would guess that Izanami is the exact same way.

Izanagi = Jutsu that turns reality into a dream.
Izanami = Jutsu that turns a dream into reality.

Also, I don't understand how some of you people can be so retarded to hate on Kishi for his choice of creativity. He has been using references to Japanese Mythology since chapter one.

Izanami is yet ANOTHER reference to Japanese Mythology. Also, you can't find a single manga in existence that is completely free of references to myths.

Get over yourselves, you don't have to read the manga if you don't like it.

He states izanagi is a the ultimate genjutsu technique from the SAGE and u need UCHIHA & SENJU powers to peform it

This was also how he created something from nothing and made the tailed beasts

Kabuto added more senju dna to the edo madara

The manga has poor translations due to the speed in which its released but if something is said in the manga AND in the anime, then im sorry but its fact and irrefutable!

I suppose we can assume that by the end of the next chapter, Kabuto will either be under Tsukuyomi or have ended the jutsu. I'm sure Izanami has a time limit like Izanagi, so there's always a chance that Kabuto holds out until then. In fact, to be honest, I think he's gonna end up under Sasuke's genjutsu, and then the chapter afterwards will be about Sasuke being torn between talking to Itachi and ending the jutsu, cause he won't be able to talk to him if he ends it. Just a thought.

Im sorry it seems to me kishi created a scenario to balance out kabuto but then made it too hard for the uchihas or couldnt b creative enough and he thought "u know wht f*** it il just make inzanami a new jutsu coming out to change the battle"

oh by the way , this chapter was good not great, but it also hinted at the fact that tobi may not even be a uchiha since he did the same thing danzo did..stockpile a whole lot of sharingans. Tobi is the biggest fake in this manga i really wanna who or what he is.

First of all izanagi is a SAGE technique we are to believe izanami is paired up with this all im saying is whiy wasnt this told when we were taught of izanagi he could of said its a paired technique just slightly hint to it

Its anti climactic we learn of kabutos new jutsu thinkin hes got a chance to win to then learn of another new jutsu which directly counters everything kabuto learnt, kabuto literally had the upper hand for 3 pages

hello guys, i am new here so i just post an idea to see if this is working.... Izanami could be an ultimately lethal or somethimg dojutsu since Izanagi is the ultimate genjutsu! If you read japanese mythology of izanagi (male god) and izanami (female goddess) they are a married couple.....bla bla and story concludes with Izanami saying she will kill 1500 people and Izanami replying he will give life to 1501 people!(WIkipedia !). But strange if Itachi can use it since it supposed to need both bloodlines ! Unless he is bluffing ! i also have no idea who tobi is, especially with this weird body of his which he can despose hands for example , my desperation takes me to the son of Sage 6 paths, the one who inherit the sages body ! i dont think is Shusui or Madaras younger brother !
