This latest chapter is a surprise, because very few would expect Kabuto to be that powerful. Sneaky, yes. But powerful enough to take on an Uchiha, well, I had my doubts then. But now it looks like the only ocular jutsu he's wary of is the rinnegan, which both brothers do not possess. I say this because when Tobi asked him how to stop the edo tensei, Kabuto thought to himself that he could not fight against the Rinnegan that time (page 7, Chapter 520 - "The Secret Behind the Edo Tensei").

But if the Uchiha siblings decide to use Amaterasu, I think Kabuto will be done for. Still, that's unlikely to happen because, their objective is to capture him alive so that the edo tensei may be put to an end.

However, still wondering how this will play out in Sasuke still fighting against Naruto and Konoha, since he is now fighting with Itachi, who loves Konoha.:sy:

Same question on my mind. In page 11 of chapter 552 ("The Requirements to be Hokage"), Itachi himself said that he cannot meet Sasuke because he tried to do everything on his own and failed. Hence, he is leaving this matter to Sasuke's friends, in particular, Naruto.

But now, we see him willing to talk to his younger brother, but only after they fight together and achieve their objective. So Itachi's earlier statement to Naruto that possessing Shisui's feelings will help him beat Sasuke appears to be pointless now. Because if the long-awaited conversation (questions and answers) between the brothers does take place, I doubt that Sasuke (unless he's become really THAT psychotic) will still be hell-bent in his desire to destroy Konoha. It will be interesting to find out how Kishi will turn the plot in a way that will find the last Uchiha in a face-to-face confrontation with Naruto.

hey some of you guys were making comments about the Dr. Snake thing well... i cant find a damn raw version of the manga and i am too lazy to run to the convini but in japanese Teacher, Doctor, expert etc can all recieve the title sensei 先生 so most likely it was just the translator choosing doctor since it amused them. if it actually literally says 医者 i am sorry and am wrong. to me it just is alot more fluid if it would have been translated as expert.

Wow, that was just a horrible chapter. Completely unexpected that Kabuto learned sage mode. Kishi threw that in there, this was a random plot twist that noone could have seen coming. I thought it was a joke for sure once I read about the great white snake sage... the beginning of the chapter seemed awesome, but after Kabuto escaped susano'o and explained his upgrades the novelty wore off and the chapter felt stupid.

I'm glad for one reason though. Looks like Sasuke might master this new sage mode, otherwise there's no point in creating it. Suigetsu must have found Orochimaru's instructions to reach ryuchidou or whatever.

He propably means that Naruto and Danzo have both wind affliction so Sasuke has some experience against it.

kabuto is quite deceitful - never know when he tells the truth and he's in sage mode! besides, snakes and dragons are related for serpents. if he's in sage mode as dragon then tsunade can turn into sage mode for the slugs.

DDD hahaha maybe, the fact he has never ending absorption of nature energy(juugo), suigetsu's ability to solidify from a liquid state AND has karin's (can't believe she's uzamaki) amazing healing powers means the uchiha bro's are in for a treat, i still don't get why itachi didn't just go BAM genjutsu when he was talking about his new mode lol.
