Who ever says that was a crap chapter is retarded , if you do you clearly didn't get the significance of kishi's story telling.

Alot of interesting things happened in that chapter
1. all the class mates (except neji ???) acknowledged there bond and friendship towards naruto. Also how much they want to stand beside him to the very end.
2. Naruto -hinata bit was nice
3. Shino and Kiba's bit was surprisingly touching especially shino (really surprised me)
4. The convo between Tobi and Naruto, and when he pulled that face on the first page (even at a time like that, he still truly remains that naughty little kid)
5. The possibility if Sasuke vs. his old class mates is what i've wanted for ages. Sasuke looks like he is walking out of the forest the reinforcements are running toward.

All in all an amazing chapter, a chapter to build up suspense but none the less a good chapter. Anyone that disagrees consider this, after every build up chapter there is always a epic one that follows (for example after the last build chapter naruto went bujii mode). So be patient, let Kishi tell his story (because it is actually important to the people that read this manga in depth), and you will get your pretty fighting pictures soon.

P.s. be warned we are ganna see that last page of sasuke everywhere now :(, I reckon Macho is colouring it with his crayons right know

I just appreciate good story telling something that kishi does well. Don't get me wrong he has produced some sh!t chapters at times, but this wasn't one of those time. I just noticed that people were rating this chapter low, because it was all talking, and I don't think that is right because a lot of things happened in the chapter just not action wise.

Don't worry about it.
It's just the Sasuke fanboys.

I haven't been very impressed with Naruto as of late, but I liked the tone of this chapter.
Has me intrigued for what's to come.

Although it was kind of boring.

Oooooo i get where your coming from know, don't worry I hate sasuke haha. Yer I got that general feeling as well, seems like sh!ts ganna hit the fan soon, maybe some major characters will die. Imaging if after this chapter Hinata died, the Naruto-Hinata fans would revolt haha

3/5 just for the fact we got to see everyone else and even sasuke is going to be in the next chap. But it was very sappy too much.
On another plus note, Tobi is starting to doubt himself, hmmmm is his resolve beginning to weaken?
Did he actually think he would defeat naruto?
Was he just stalling so that sasuke has time to attack the shinobi?
Will sasuke be a team of his own or will he join Kabuto, Tobi and madara?

One thing I would've liked to see in this chap,IS THE KAGES?!?!?! They were the only ones that didnt reply to the message sent to them

I thought it was pretty good. I liked that Tobi was denying his fear. Everybody realizes Naruto's position. Guy and Kakashi backing up the younger generation. And the entire Shinobi world is rushing to Naruto to help him save the world.

I guess that 90% on NarutoBase don't get that stuff unless it's all written out for them...
The pages with the sun breaking through the clouds shining on the footsteps was so symbolical for the end of this war.

If anything this was one of the best chapters in a long while, if not THE best in terms of telling a story.

I completely agree. It seems people just look at the picture's an if there isn't someone getting punched they glaze over them (not everyone obviously but some definitely). It's a shame really, you can get a lot more out of naruto if you pay attention and actually think about why Kishi added a specific frame that would seem like filler.

I also agree that the full page of the sun and footsteps had great significance. I think it has 3 possible meanings
1. A great change is coming in this war ( the change from day to night)
2. The sun is setting on the army, as in they are going to take some serious damage
3. Or the sun is setting on this war meaning it is coming to an end, possibly in the shinobi armies favour as it is setting in their corner.

I guess we will have to wait and see which one it is:D
