we see a Monkey King/Goku type of hero. Its not a huge ape, he looks much like a human. For I think in the myth the Ape King was human-like too.

Nope, you're wrong. EVERYTHING that you see in DBZ and Naruto about son goku is taken STRAIGHT FROM THE ORIGINAL STORY, JOURNEY TO THE WEST.

In DBZ, Master Roshi is literally a redundant name that was translated by ignorant english speaking people who couldn't understand that Roshi wasn't the characters name. It was the characters title.

In Naruto, Roshi is once again the 4 tails jinchuriki's title, and not his NAME. In Japan, you don't typically address people who are authoritarian figures by their name, you address them by their title. Especially when they are such an authoritarian figure such as a high master of martial arts or Buddhism.

Goku in DBZ was a direct reference to the character Son Goku in Journey to the West, just like Son Goku in Naruto was.

Great chapter, i especially liked how Naruto was able to talk to the 4 tails.
But i think he is a bit naive going to release Son Goku, then again thats just Naruto but i guess we'll see in the next chapter how it plays out,unless Kishi switches to the battle between the Kages and Madara. I can't wait 4/5 this one.........

awesome chapter, kakashi's new technique was quite cool, and I liked the banter between the 5-tails and naruto. It's cool that we learnt the ninetails name, I think if naruto starts calling him by his real name than he will start being friends with him.

i feel sorry for all the retards that think "Son", "Goku", "roshi", and "apes" are from dragonball z and dragon ball z only. xDDD.... its a common mythology used by A BUNCH OF ANIMES. even games. look at Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. Thats just ONE example and thats a game. not to mention the anime/manga that use Those kind of references.

Sure its a possibility that he likes dbz, but it DOES NOT MEAN AT ALL that it has ANYTHING TO DO WITH what happened on 568. ITS COMMONLY USED MYTHOLOGY.
