Lets just assume that Tobi isn't Madara then why would he use Madara's identity. The only logical explanation is that Madara knew Tobi and both of them knew about the Rinnegan and Nagato and both of them made the entire plan. But Madara died for some reason and it was up to Tobi to implement the plan.

Kishi has just completely threw the Tobi = Madara theories out the window.

I don't think Tobi is Madara, I've heard it on alot of forums who were going along the lines of what Voldemort did to himself in Harry Potter.

The reason being his reaction when Kabuto showed him the coffin back at the hideout and he stood dead in his tracks..

Most of the occasions were Zetsu has spoke to Madara he's called him tobi & most of the time Tobi has addressed himself as Madara in Third Person.

Another thing you have to remember there have been events that have preceded Madara's death to which he probably isn't aware.. Tsuchikage & a few others have said in previous chapters whoever was behind Akatsuki watched how the world was changed and worked with it...

The next chapter will probably be one of the big ones in terms of momentum as lately kishi has been dragging his feet.

I can imagine the end being Itachi appearing behind Kabuto with Susanoo & The sword of totsuka out ready to put him in a permanent genjutsu.

But seriously, I agree with you. ^_^

Hashirama was great and all but you don't NEED his cells or his lineage to hold the god damn Rinnegan. All one has to do is think about the fact that one son gained the eye's of the So6P while the other gained the his body. That should mean the eldest inherited the Rinnegan - weather or not he had to build up to it or not, like every other Uchiha, is the real question. My answer: of course the eldest had to work for it! Just like Madara.

How did he? That seem to be unanswerable at this point. My first inclination was that the Rinnegan was a combo of the EMS and the Byakugan but ... there really isn't a way to know.

I Agree! your on to something my friend... I think the Sage was a Hyuga, and thats where the Byakugan falls into the scheme of things. I think when he obtained the 10 tails Juubi Rinnegan/Sharingan eyes of the beast when he became his host... I dont think the eldest son developed the Rinnegan he just develope the Sharingan. Think about it his only sibling was his younger brother who had the will and the Body of his father SO6P, not the eyes so he couldnt advance his eyes that far to obtain the Rinnegan. But as time past his legacy = Uchiha clan begin two grow, and this is where the story of Madara and his younger brother Izuna comes into play. Logic

ok, NOW I think I know who's the guy with the mask and two eyes....Madara's Brother. if you think about it, in Itachi's story of him, Madara had last taken his brother's eyes, but didn't say anything about him being dead. when the guy played as Tobi, he didn't have any eyeholes. when he revealed himself as Madara, he showed only one eye. and when he took Pain's eyes, he only used one of them instead of both, giving himself two eyes. and who else besides Kabuto would know where the body of the REAL Madara was at? if that is indeed the real Madara that Kabuto resurrected....

While Itachi and Kabuto may be on the same level I think it's more likely that all Kabuto has are cards up his snake riddled sleeve right now in comparison to Itachi.

this is funny...because the summoned madara is simply not the epic madara in history...what i mean is that madara in history became epic because of his EMS not of his rinnegan....and he was easily defeated with his EMS on....forced him to activate rinnegan to avoid a combo from naruto and gaara...lame legend for me....lol...not the madara in history as a legendary EMs user...

well team work and experience pays off, this have been show on Naruto since day1
