Hahahahaha I KNEW IT! I am 100% now that the guy behind the mask is Izuna Uchiha! Everyone has had so many theories, even I have changed my mind over and over but I knew it! I knew it! I feel like a 5 year old kid on christmas 10000 FOLD!

I am truly 100% convinced that Tobi is Izuna. I just knew it!

I am truly 100% dead set on my theory now that it is true.

I believe has I have said in loads of threads before that Madara really did die when he fought the 1st Hokage and that Izuna wasn't really dead and took back his eyes from Madara.

No one would know what happens if your eyes were taken by your brother so that he could activate EMS and then you end up taking them back, what happens? No one knows. Hahahahaha I can't believe this. I really am so freaking happy. I mean it if I see one saddo rate this manga below a 5, I will mentally picture myself shooting them. I don't care how nooby that sounds.

Hahahaha this will demolish so so so so many theories people have made and re-create loads of theories. For now I am sticking with my theory that I have always said about Izuna and Madara. Truly I loved this chapter. It is my most favourite so far.

However the only flaw in my eyes with my theory is the Nagato comment that the REAL Madara made

How could he know Nagato when he was a kid? This is all confusing.

Is that masked man is the same masked man fought with the third Hokage? Could it be a different masked man? Was it Uchiha Madara back then but then he's dead and was replaced by someone else but inherited the eye and use the same name as him?

Because KAKASHI HAD ONE OF THE SHARINGAN!!! And seeing that Obito just awakened his Sharingan, his Genjutsu levels were probably very low. In addition, MADARA BURNNED OUT ONE OF HIS SHARINGAN using that Izangi (if I spelled that right) Jutsu against Konan He couldn't have faked it, because he would have died without it. The Idea that Tobi is Obito was funny and neat, but it needs to die.

The fact that Kakashi was given one of his eyes is just more proof it could be him imo. Both Kakashi's Sharingan and Tobi's Sharingan have the same ability to remove an object from normal space. However, I did not realize he burned out one of his eyes with Izangi. It could also be possible it was someone elses eyes he used for this though, Its not like tobi is a stranger to transplanting other peoples eyes into himself. Rinnengan for example. Personally, I don't believe it is Obito, but I understand the defense if you wanted to argue it. I think it is more misdirection on Kishi's part.

I think it is quite possible that Tobi is still Madara and he merely split his body and or soul at death. He said himself that his goal was to become whole again and that he was incomplete and unable to use his abilities to fight at this time. Also, Kabuto still called him Madara after showing him the coffin.

Okay... so I read through this and I think that Ignazi could in fact split the soul. The sage split the soul (chakara) and the body of the 10 tails and then split the soul (chakara) into 9 other beings.
So that being said Tobi could in fact be telling the truth and be Madara but of course being split for so long developed differently. aka different personality tobi and this also could mean different techniques. because as tobi said he fought the battle to gain the flesh of the 1st. what if he infused his soul into a piece of harishima's flesh. this could be why his body is so unstable.

Tobi is really one of a kind, a super villain... he even fooled Itachi into believing he was Madara. No wonder he always wears a mask!!
But why was he after shisui's eye after Danzo was dead? He already had EMS, why would he want a non EMS?

He wants Shisui's eye because it has the nsuper amazing genjutsu that can only be used every ten years, but im predicting he wants to manipulate the technique somehow...

Yeah, I agree. I heard alot of people say before tody that Madara was simply a white Zetsu cloan--and I just called that hypothosis a peice of complete and total cheezy crap. (Swiss, to be exact )

But now knowing that this Madara is a fake, I wouldn't be suprised. I think he was supposed to be a trump card of some sort that the real Madara left behind (but wasn't resurrected the way he thought so now he's ticked).

Well, we know the man making all this noise is an imposter. Cloan, brother, Obito, whatever. He isn't Madara and only time will tell as to who he really is. Why argue, people? It's not like it's going to affect Kishi's decitions on his writing.

I said it is a possible explaination. There is honestly nothing that cannot be explained with the Obito theory so far aside from the fact that a motive is yet to be shown. It just seems to easy for this to be the case though. I would be dissapointed if kishi made it that simple. I have a hunch that this is more a misdirection to people assuming that tobi is still actually madara just after splitting his soul. However, I wouldn't be surprised with either being the outcome.
