if you cant remeber how it works, just remember that sasori's real body was resurected rather than his master piece body , thats how i see it >_< . remember that kabuto said the dna is just the same as the blueprints of someones body, so if you loose an eye in battle , that eye will be resurected because they are apart of the blue prints(design) of that person, this is what happened with itachi, sasori, and nagato, but with the edo Jinks , their bodies and souls was only brought back, not the bijuu becuase they are not apart of their DNA (they are actually a separate being). this rule still applies to the gin kin brothers, because their dna apparently changed while they was in the kyuubi's belly and their bodys fused with the chakra so they basicaly "OWN" the kyuubis chakra.

not a jutsu, naruto is just jumping in the air while the sun is angled behind him, i think this was symbolic meaning naruto is bringing light while on the next page after that sasuke is in a dark cave meaning "darkness" but then its wierd because sasuke "steps into the slither of light" , might mean that hes stepping out of his dark domain in means to challenge naruto who is still in the light. aaaaah i think im reading WAAYY in to this chapter LOOL

i don't think you're reading too much into it, Kishi is an artist first and foremost symbolism is to be expected. And as Naruto quite literally stands as a beacon of light, Sasuke steps into his light from the darkness to face him.

That was clearly stated here and somewhere in the Manga but it seems like everyone did forget about that.

I feel like that was said in the manga as well. But if it's true, why did Nagato come back all decrepit and chapped only becoming "complete" when he sucked the 8 tails chakra. Wouldn't his prime be "complete".

I think, perhaps because it happened after he brought back all those people, is because it didn't just weaken him physically, but spiritually, too. That technique is a soul-tech and so is Edo Tensei. I think that because he brought back those thousands of people, it degraded his soul and not just his body, so that even if he was brought back in his prime, his soul that was revived was in a weakened state to be resurrected. That's my theory anyways.

Decent theory, I would definitely think that the resurrection cast by Nagato would have quite the hefty price to pay especially since he was so low on chakra at the time. It would make sense that his "life" energy would be consumed and the spirit being what brings life to the body that "life" energy would take its toll on his soul.

Edo Tensei does not bring back the physical body, it brings the soul back. Izuna's soul would be a well body with the Sharingan. But I doubt Izuna was summoned. xD He was on par with MS Madara. So Madara should know all about his brother's abilities and techniques. I don't think he'd be afraid of him.

I agree! Nagato must have had damage done to his soul because he's tampering with the Judge of Yomi (Underworld).

i think kabutos secret weapon could be a new character. just like nagato was the mastermind behind pain and he was completely new. there might be a bunch of fillers to go thro this new guys history or something. if you think about it, this person doesnt have to be someone madara knows personally it could be a really powerful shinobi that everyone probably fears. since madara was the only one who seen him hes the only one thats actually freaking out. but i have a feeling in the next couple chapters were goin to find out whos in the coffin and why even the great madara is scared of him

Hey, first post here!

I loved this chapter quite a bit. I'm not too into the side characters of the series, so I've been a bit frustrated with this arc. Every single side character seems like they're going to get their moment and battle, etc. But finally, we have some movement by the main characters! (I'm not sure if Sakura counts as a main character anymore...she's barely in the manga at all)

I think I'm the most supportive of the theory that Kabuto's bringing back Madara's body. The Hokage comments are stupid. I'm pretty sure it's been established by now that they're all sealed away. Izuna, well, Madara already defeated him once, hasn't he? (At least according to Itachi, though Madara says he gave them up willingly) Not exactly an opponent that would strike fear, either way. One way, he was defeated, the other, he was extremely loyal to Madara, and when people who are resurrected are loyal they tend to disobey Kabuto.

As for the Sage of Six Paths, I'm not seeing how Kabuto could have possibly gotten his hands on the Sage, plus I feel like he'd be too powerful to control. Also, whoever this is is probably not going to defeat Madara, I feel like that's going to be left to a main character, and the Sage would probably wipe out Madara, if he was being brought back.

So I feel like we're left with Madara's old body.

As far as the EMS. It's badass. It's a combo of the sharnigans, plus I liked the upside down bit. He has conflicting "visions" in him now, Sauce's vision for the future and Itachi's, it makes sense they'd be facing opposite ways. Or it does to me XD

I agree with this:

dose anyone think sasuke and itachi will meet? cause seriously wouldnt that just solve with whole damn sasuke problem if his own bro who he is fighting for would just be like dude >_> chill. its cool man.

I don't think Sasuke and Itachi will meet up again, or if they do it will be after he is redeemed or dead or whatever. Itachi is leaving Sasuke up to Naruto, so there'd be no reason for them to fight again. And if they talked, either a) Sasuke's good again, which would be lame without the vs. Naruto fight, or b) Sasuke kills this resurrected Itachi, which would also be stupid because it would go against his revenge plan.

A prediction for the manga as a whole-- does anyone think the end is at least in sight like I do? I feel like once this war is over/Sauce vs. Naruto and whoever vs. Madara is done, the manga's done. Or at least it should be. A lot of characters are being given a last moment to shine, plus I don't think any more battles could be more epic than Madara and Sauce vs. Naruto, so it would be kind of stupid to continue from there, beyond an epilogue type thing.

huh, what about nagato... the theory applies to him also, the jutsu braught back his design(blueprints) , not his "prime", and yes the white hair was just a change of design(blueprints) because nothing was removed or added before he died.
as for chiyo, theirs nothing about her that contradicts this theory as far as i can remember.

hey what i noticed earlier is that people get the ssumtion that madara had the same mangekyo powers as sasuke and itachi , this false. each uchiha has 3 mangekyo techiniques and their unique to that one uchiha (in exception of their sibling) and this is why shisui's MS justsu is unique and so is kakashi's, why should madara have the same shit as sasuke and itachi. people please pay attention and get your facts right... thank you

i know this is pretty off topic or whatever, but everyone talking about naruto showing up during kakashi's rampage reminded me.... Who in here has ever watched dragon ball (the original, not dbz or gt)? There are tons of threads out there that say that ninja murasaki could take on kakashi! Some people even say he can take on naruto. If you guys know what i'm talking about, then we need to bring some justice to these threads!

Anyways, off-topic rant over. I personally think that the person in the coffin is either izuna, sage of six paths, or someone we have never seen before. I can't think of anyone, living or dead, that would be able to spook madara like that besides the greatest and ultimate ninja of all time (could rewrite reality and spam izanagi like it was nothing while on his deathbed for pete's sake) or his brother who knows him more than anyone else. Even back in the day, izuna may have been more powerful than madara, plus if madara was lying about the whole "he gave me his eyes cuz he loves me" deal, then i'm sure izuna is gonna be pretty po'd to see madara there.

Saltwaterlife it just me, or is naruto spamming qb mode just a liiiiiittle bit? I'm afraid that, right before he fights sasuke, it's gonna flicker out, and he's gonna have to rely on sage mode for a bit. Then, when all hope is lost, it comes back and he has the upper hand. And just before naruto wins, itachi shows up, talk no jutsu's sasuke (that's the only person sasuke actually cares about now, and i think it'll be a little weird seeing his brother again), and then they team up against madara. Naruke tag-team on madara, where naruto combines sage mode and kyubi mode to enter super saiyan 4 and then plot no jutsu kills madara once and for all. The final chapter is probably gonna end with naruto donning the hokage hat, while everyone is cheering. Happy ending. I know it's a stupid prediction, but all we can do now is imagine, right?

Madara is practically a god now. Here is a list of his powers:

{assumed} kamui (he can already use other space/time jutsu, this one should be at least plausible)
can warp reality (izanagi, at the cost of his eye which is very unlikely)

can absorb all forms of energy
can summon various animals to aid in combat (including gedo statue)
can control and create gravity
transcends life and death
can spawn weird mechanical body parts
can use any and all elemental jutsu

six paths of pain (all of which have the abilities stated under ems and rinnegan)

his paths are also indestructible unless sealed
he can mysteriously regrow body parts

and i'm sure i missed something. I'm sure even goku doesn't stand a chance. I am eagerly awaiting the final battles, but i don't want kishi to rush too much and mess up the rest of the series. He's already rushing it now. I still gave this chapter a 5/5 mostly cuz of the way his new rasengan created that 3d spiral whirlpool thru muu and how epic he looked when he landed in front of temari just to interupt her. Stupid anime fillers are keeping us from watching this in real-time. Instead of fillers, can't they just drag out these fights a little longer? Gaara vs daddy doesn't have to be one episode, u know. It could be 5 or six, instead of this lame one piece - ninja crossover junk.

I also think he's using Obito's body, since before he had the rinnengan eye from Nagato he only showed his right eye and Kakashi took the left eye. But I again, this is all opinion!
