i agree, nagato is underpowered. For all the hype the rinnegan has been receiving, the ms and the ems seem more formidable. Now that could change with maadara. Hopefully his rinnegan proves lives up to the expectations kishi placed on them.

to all of the naruto fans on naruto base please stop saying itachi can defeat nagato in a one on one match. Itachi is strong but he was not the leader of the akatsuki. The two leaders were madara and nagato who identified himself as a god. Nagato has way more chakara, experience, and expertise than itachi. Itachi is a skilled ninja no doubt but he is not more powerful than nagato. Even if itachi have used susanoo against nagato in a one on one match it still wont be enough to take down nagato ultimate move. He needed the help from naruto and bee to sealed nagato but by himself nagato would rape itachi

this just proved to you people that nagato was the strongest ninja alive when he was healthy...it took three amazing ninja to defeat him and his last technique.

and amateratsu couldnt touch him since he could now do the oush pull technique for a longer period of time...not to mention his high chakra.

kakashi lol... But i still have to put naruto at number 1 we still dont know all he can do yet... His fight with nagato naruto didnt even take that fight seriously he never attacked nagato or itachi once xd even when he got caught because he was going to help bee... He was still talking to nagato and joking asking him to teach him that trick so i believe naruto still has a bag of unseen tricks and i just know itachi wont die until he speaks to his lil bro kishi has a heart lol

i love itachi but u cant compare rin to ms just like comparing hinata to sage of six paths m.s has a limitation and also causes strains on the eyes but rin grants the user all elmental abilites that just too much

Its not about quantity of attacks, its the quality. The MS and the EMS have susanoo that makes them virtually invincible from any attack. If physical attacks dont work on them and they can see through any genjustu, what'd do you have left ?
My point is, that what weve seen so far from the rinnegan and the MS has clearly shown that the MS is superior. However maadara mentioned that he nagato's rinnegan was originally use. Perhaps as many have speculated, nagato's rinnegan was the not the full powered one, and was just part of the process of evolving into the full powered rinnegan. Just like the EMS is a higher evolution of the MS.
We should have some more answers about the rinnegan when maadara finally enters the fray. Im pretty sure his rinnegan would be vastly superior to nagato's. But that also brings another huge question ? How can naruto defeat maadara or even sasuke or even itachi ?

Sasuke EMS has to be greater than itachi's MS, which was pretty formidable. And very skeptical that naruto can beat itachi. If im not sure of that, i doubt he can beat sasuke or even maadara. Unless Kishi plus the bleach BS and gives him some new unknown power out of nowhere. Or he makes the EMS and maadara's rin vastly underwhelming.

And my final thought would be on the MS limitations. It places a huge drain on the user, whats to say the rinnegan which supposedly is superior doesnt do the same or worse. That would explain why nagato was so sick and frail, and why after absorbong the 8 tail's chakra he returned to normal.

Once cut by the sword of totsuka, you're sealed for eternity. There's no counter for that. And susanoo is a defence against all physical attacks. Plus with his MS genjustu is useless against him. So his only option is celestial terrablast. Which itachi could undo by his long range attacks in quick succession to destroy the gravity orb.

1st off your right Naruto could have died... but only because he wasnt taking that fight seriously at all bee was hurt and then he went to check on him then he got grabbed by nagato... big deal oooh Nagato is so much stronger for grabbing him first if naruto was serious at first Nagato wouldnot have asorbed killer bees chakra because he would be dead :flaw:

2nd Yamato was referring to Narutos speed when he said that because he ran and got his foot stuck in the wall that was like narutos 3rd time in km cloak now i believe he is hella used to it hes been in it for days

It take takes Centuries, Decades or even Millenuim... that is why Kyuubi is so caring for Naruto's safety ... wheven he gets injured, kyuubi regenerates it..:flaw:
