First we get to see Itachi and Nagato. Sharingan and Rinnegan

Then we see Neji (probably a clone) Byakugan !

Neji is probably captured by madara and het controles the other two doujutsu users. He will probably use those three doujutsu for his moon eye plan (the moon was shown throughout the whole chapter.)

Why else would Itachi and Nagato be spared from battle. They are the strongest Akatsuki...

So Rinnegan + Byakugan + Sharingan = Sick unstoppable world domination destruction power end of the manga technique.

I think Its a Zetsu Clone as Neji, Sakura and the spy will have a Simi Encounter and we all know Naruto will show up at the right time to Save her! <3 !!! along with Killer Bee. You guys think to much into things. Sakura will show you guys not only is she a healer but she can hold her own.

Ill rather heal then fight. Love over hate. Love heals Hate kills... Sakura is a women and realistically women are more nurturing. With is why Sakura acts the wayshe does. she uses her Love for people and heal !! Not hurt. She protects things she love just like women. And is in search of Love from a Man Like Women. MOST Women want to be protected by there "Knight in shining armor" and most men what a women to love and take care of them.... Sakura being a Medic really proves how strong she is cause Power is not only Physical but is also Mental and emotional.

And the Power of Love conqures all. To be able to Fight with Love is the best thing Ever.

Well Conquer the hate in Sasukes Heart.
Thus causing them to become team 7 again.

It's a Zetsu clone clearly.. but where is the real Neji then? That is the real question.
Neji hasn't been shown fighting anyone with strong genjutsu, genjutsu strong enough to control a Byakugan user. So Neji has probably been captured and a Zetsu clone as transformed into him. I'd understand if it was some random shinobi, but Neji?

Maybe the real Neji is somewhere there too, they haven't met maybe ^^ Next chapter, Neji vs Neji?

I think that its Itachi & Pain controlling neji, they just said they could almost do anything.

Also, i noticed itachi had rinnegan eyes @ first. Then they went back to 3 tomoe. They can't be under control if itachi is holding pain up.. Idk :O

I think neji is being controlled the only person I know that can copy themselves right down to the chakra will be Zetsu. But, then neji could be put under a Genjutsu or something.

Combination of all those three dojutsu, Neji+itachi+Nagato = The jubbi's eyes :/ if you look closely.

I feel like everyone is missing out on one of the most possible answers.
Neji is being controlled by Dan's Dead Soul technique.
Reasons why this could be true:

1. Dan comes in Stirs up trouble fights Shizune. then Tsunade comes in and defeats Dan.
2. Earlier Dan used the technique but then Kishi didnt show what it did and we never saw him again in the past few chapters. (sounds like a Clark KEnt/ Superman Scenario.

I've said this before a few times but here it goes again...The Impure World Resurrection Jutsu does not rely on the body of the intended resurrection. It requires an amount of the target shinobi's DNA, a living host body, and an unsealed/unbound soul...(a soul that is in the pure world or afterlife). So they would still have their eyes because it's part of their DNA.

The question I would have is if Kekashi was resurrected would he have a sharigan or not...since it's not really part of his DNA. I guess you could argue that his DNA would have been augmented when he implanted the eye so as long as the DNA sample was taken after he got the eye that it would work.

But as far as Itachi and Nagato go...whether their eyes were taken post death or not doesn't matter with the IWR jutsu. Their eyes couldnt be taken again though because they turn to dust as soon as the jutsu wears off and all that's left is the body of the host.

I entirely agree with the Neji "loosing" the culprit. I mean really? You have 360 degree, x-ray, binocular vision and you lost him? Of course this guy is a zetsu. In addition did anybody else find it out of character for neji to say something like "ya just get it over with" I mean he is usually quiet and respectful. Just because you can copy someone down to the very cell this doesn't mean that you can use all of their abilities or copy their personality. Also for all you neji fans out there (my self included) Neji is not dead. Look at how many zetsu he came in contact with it is very likely that the real Neji will show up and fight his clone/white zetsu. Zetsu will then probably change to others he copied. Great... so now Naruto will get diverted from the battlefield to the medic quarters to help fight off zetsu. Hopefully not. I would hope that Sakura would become compinate and powerful enough to go and kill the white zetsu by herself and NOT NEEDING ANYBODY'S HELP!

I Totally Agree With, You, Neji Is Going To Show Up, Fight His Zetsu Clone, Zetsu Is Going To Bring Backup Clones, Neji Will Lose, Naruto Will Show Up And it Will Be Naruto Vs 10,000 Zetsu's Total Massacre.

I agree with you guys 100% I actually do think its a zetsu clone. I ALSO think that Sakura also knows its a Zetsu clone. I think she might've found out while she was patching him up and i think she might have done something already to maintain the situation (like implant a poison of some kind).

[I also secretly was hoping Sakura would get killed in this chapter lol. I seen another comment with someone who had the same interests. LIke , I just wish Kishi would just erase her from the Manga! (sorry, I just really dislike her).]

In regards to the REAL Neji, I doubt he's dead. No main character gets killed off-screen like that without any 'farewell' memories of some kind. I HOPE he's captured and is in fact one of the paths of the sage (which supports a theory i had posted awhile back). That would thicken the plot and also give the Hyuuga clan the respect and attention they never recieved during shippuden (obviously not including the anime fillers about neji).

One other thing intrigued me about this chapter. It was when Itachi stated that part about his Tsukiyomi powers. This may have been obvious to others, but it seems to me that Madara plans on using Itachi (and possibly Nagato) to help him project his genjutsu onto the moon. Apparently their ressurrection had a deeper meaning than just to fight the joint shinobi forces. Which I like

I hated the way Naruto was talking to the fox in the previous chapter for some reason, but when he said that He'd also do something bout the Fox's hatred that pretty much fixed it for me. Finally seeing Itachi and Nagato (even better, together) was enough to make me jump around like crazy. <3's this chapter. I kinda suspected Neji was the spy, coz Kishi was trying so hard to hint at the love letter guy. But still, like a previous poster mentioned, the love letter guy might've put Neji under Genjutsu. Also I hope Hinata comes to Sakura's rescue and we get to see a fight between the Hyuga, coz I'd love to see Hinata have some screentime and maybe reveal some secrets behind the Byakugan that only the main branch know and maybe a new technique

I really hope so i don't want to have to switch my favorite character from neji to kabuto, i love neji and ever since he debuted hes been my favorite but theres no sense in having a dead favorite character that has no progression in power, cause hes my best in all the games, i want more to do with him in the games i play though!!!!!
