To sum up my feelings about this chapter in as few words as possible-(Facepalm...) Baka Naruto! There.

Heh... It IS pretty badass seeing Naruto and Kira standing side by side in Jinchuriki mode... I hope they pull a tag team combo on the battle field... and damn... what's Madara going to hit us with...

Also... how comes Zetsu still calls Madara Tobi? Is it habit?... And what's this about a substitute?

It is because hes not Uchiha Madara.kabuto showed him THE REAL UCHIHA MADARA when he first came up to him a couple chapters back right as the war was starting and that is why kabuto said "dont worry i havn't told anyone". and thats why kabuto also calls him tobi. Because he is really the direct decendent of the Sage of 6 Paths. but it is just a theory

what is everyone thoughts on the kages now coming out of their 'hiding spot/base' now that madara has entered the fight? and the fact that they should know that bee and naruto are on their way? think they will change their attack plans or just try to stop bee and naruto (cause they probably made sure their base was in between the war and the island to stopa break out or a break in)?

Got and idea brewing in my head! It's very raw and I was considering it in class, instead of paying attention to the lesson =P.

What if "Madara" isn't really behind that orange swirly mask? What if it is really some nin named, Tobi...This is all hypothetically and is my second theory to the "mystery of Madara" (ask for the first, if you'd like to know).

This man by the name of, Tobi is a scavenger of sorts, one of the most brilliant nin to ever live, a scientist who experiments with his own body, and a man wanting to become the next So6P. You could say, he is cut from the same cloth as Oro. He is very old and during his lifetime he has acquired the rinnegan (perhaps he found, then stole them from So6P's coffin), countless uchiha sharingan, including Madara's, as he died, and even the first's DNA...

With all of these items gathered and complete information of the Rinnegan and So6P's stone tablet, he knew he needed to plant the rinnegan in an uzumaki for the their full potential to be realized. However, he needed to torture this vessel, aka Nagato, to lead him down a dark path and commit all of the acts we've seen unfold.

After Nagato's body was sacrificed, not Mr. Tobi's, by summoning the Gedo Maze. Tobi then knew he could capture all the tailed beast on his way to becoming the next So6P.

He knew he needed sharingan eye's and senju chakra/blood/dna to achieve two of the six paths in order to become the next So6P. Once he gathered these two items he used them to create Zetsu by means of izanagi. He sacrificed one of his sharingans to do so, but had madara's sharingan as a replacement because he stripped him of it while madara was dying after his fight with hashirama. Zetsu allowed tobi to repair any injuries and Tobi now had the powers of madara's eyes.

However, I don't know why he's claiming to be madara? perhaps it is out of respect, since he using his eyes, or it gives him creditability, instead of some nin named tobi?

Also, if this all the case, then the sixth coffin would be madara!

Thoughts anyone? I know it's a little flawed, but I couldn't help but share =).

Cool theory man. I too think that Tobi is actually some unknown nin who researched and studied history and is now using that knowledge to become powerful. But is the moon eye plan his real intention? Madara is clearly in the coffin, why else would the mask still be on? Can't wait till Kishi blows our mind with this

I'm glad that the story is moving along at last and that bee and naruto have teamed up now 'tobi' has joined the fray but why was he refered to as tobi again, is this saying he isn't mandara?

bee and naruto are ganna end up taking everyone out that the special teams had a problem taking out.....but then they ganna start to fight the dead kage and stuff

It would be somehow unrealistic, if they still have the beasts to use, while these beasts are sealed in the demon ...
Even Pain with rinnegan and Itachi with sharingan would be somehow unrealistic...^^

No because they all died with the powers they had at that current time, So of course they would have that power or what would be the point in summoning them if they didn't have any of their tailed beast powers.

O.O O.OGedo Mazo is the body of the jubi. After the statue sucks the chakra of the bijuu's madara is going to do some jutsu(maybe) and unite it thats how the jubi is going to be reborn.Look at those strange growths behind his head, they look just like the jubi ones if somethink is wrong please tell me
