that was a pretty sick chapter. Like everyone said, liked the back story, it made the previous chapter make a little more sense (I was kinda confused, even after reading it a few times). Yeah Chouji's a softy, but like his father and Asuma told him, he's the strongest of the three because of his love for his friends. Kishimoto is really a good writer, his plot mechanics and the way he ties things together when they seem like loose ends is magnificent, mad props. And i don't know if any of you guys have had a Sensei or Sifu, but when you give them that much love and respect, its hard to see them hurt, especially at your hands. Like a wise man once told me, you can't serve two masters.

Hanzou and Mifune have earned my respect in the last two chapters....Hanzou only appeared weak because he went up against ppl immune to poison and Mifune can stop ppl from using ninjutsu.....you can have the best ninjutsu in the world but if you can't use it then it doesn't make a difference

a great 5/5 chap! "faith" thing rocks! mifune and hanzo faith discussion is second to Naruto's 'tebayo!' so far...

1. kakashi's sharingan was a gift. it is similar to sasuke's eyes as he was born with them. kakashi's gaiden as a filler will have to be hurried with such a hurried minato exposure. we could have loved a longer arc filler...just that this is manga world dude...limitations are there...the play of imagination is given to us...and to how we learn from these imaginative powers we have...how we subjectively read, re-read and read some more...keep on learning and don't stop - Naruto will yell "don't ever give up"...this is my reader's way -- again, personally. we can do it dude.
2. am being impatient too, i crave for Naruto's progress in training...but i get just a little...but just enough for my own plot. i control my own plot and change it whenever i want to...respecting other readers' commentaries...
3. kakashi and sasuke could not be treated the same. sasuke is more powerful...his powers need to be built up...much much anticipation is demanded from readers. this is the only way he could catch up with the main character - Naruto. the way kakashi used obito's sharingan and the way he obtained the MS, is far and incomparable to sasuke's first usage of his own sharingan when he copied rock lee's taijutsu. then more spectacular was his MS awakening upon his fight with bee...(not sure of this claim though...you could correct me. but i hope you get the gist...)

k thanks for the explanations, i guess it makes perfect sense now that i think about it. its just im more impatient with each chapter that comes out because i think about like all the naruto fans get a update , but all the sasuke fans like me have to wait even longer for sasuke's progress.... the annoying thing is that when we see sasuke again i bet he will have his normal sharingan constantly activated and will have to activate his ems activated much later which will disappoint me alot. its really badass how the anime is going, i cant wait to see it catch up to the war. but more importantly i would like to see atleast 2-3 page update on sasuke when the time comes, with atleast knowledge on what he will be doing when we next see him ie. killing an army group, or attacking the feudal lords.

I think this whole year is going to be about the war. We will see Naruto and Sasuke but in limited action. Majority of the war will be spend showing fights of the other guys. Its going to be quite some time before we see the big guns going against each other that is Madara, Sasuke, Naruto and Kabuto.

i hope after asuma and ino shika cho they do kimmimaru and maybe like rock lee to fight again. I liked him. or at least go back to another one of the bigger battles like kakashi or gaara or even see how naruto is going
