Interesting Chapter.
If there is on thing Asuma should be happy about, then it's the fact that he can smoke as much as he want this time around without any reason to worry about his health. Wonder if he got a pack of smoke too when he was revived
Hope he will have an epic comeback next week.

Well, kinda makes sense. But, I think you need chakra in order to fire jutsus using the fan and the prob. with Lee is his chakra coil is not developed (i think that is his problem)

Ne way, on to the chap, though it was not super-awesome kinda chap, it was still good and was kishi's style till the end.

Lady Chiyo playing dead to fool kabumaru , can't wait for that.

Ino-Shika-Cho Vs Asuma, i don't talk-no-jutsu will be used initially. My prediction is we'll get to see why the Ino-Shika-Cho teamwork was considered legendary and being the next generation, we'll get to see Team 10 surpassing their parents.

And Mifune Vs Hanzo, though it will not be epic, i do think it'll be a decent fight, as some one mentions before the Kage Summit, even ninjas do not mess with Samurai and they're left alone, which I consider is kinda stupid if Samurai's are not strong to defend themselves.

but there are a tons of thing that kishi has to show us for example:

kakashi's fight against the 7 swordsmen
naruto's training with killer bee
sasuke's new eyes
what is madara doing???
the likely battle between 5th mizukage and zetsu
gaara+tsuchikage vs the others kages

there's only one way to deal with all these events -> increase the number of pages per mangaxd

why do you think the mizukage is going to fight zetsu?
and i agree, there needs to be more pages per chapter.


now to address all the people that are saying how all of these battles are seeming like filler:
all of these battles are necessary, after all it is a huge shinobi world war with all of the villages allied against akatsuki. if it just cut immediatly to the naruto, madara, kabuto, and sasuke battles instead of showing this it would suck. then all of you would be complaining that the war was a huge let down because it was so short and it only involved a few characters. all of these battles are also revealing more about the history of some of the shinobi and their villages. once the entire war arc ends, meaning madara, kabuto, and sasuke are dealt with, the manga is probably going to end. this would mean that all of these questions about the past would be left unanswered.
now the short summary because i know people are going to just see long post and criticize without reading: if the battles were not in it we would be left with many unanswered questions about some characters and people would be complaining that the war was anti-climactic.

Ty I have said this before as well. The war has only begun so the main battles/climax wont happen till at least next year. Lol Be patient ppl . As for Hidan it would be a nice twist for him to return cause he would have a great impact on the war whether he is still on akatsuki side or maybe joins the Alliance (I think that would be cool). And ROFLMAO at the Bananafan monkey/3rd Hokage picxd

I'm not saying that these battles are fillers, I just meant that I want more pages because sometimes u don't even remember what a character was doing cuz he disappears for a few chapter!!! and keep all in mind is difficult, but at the same this is the most beautiful thing of reading a manga, cuz u have to read back costantlyxd
About the fight between zetsu and the mizukage -> I think that they're going to battle cuz black zetsu mission is to kill the feudal lords and mizukage mission is to protect them so I think that the fight is inevitable!!!

why do you think the mizukage is going to fight zetsu?

i forgot about the mizukage protecting the feudal lords. in that case that is probably going to happen. thanks for reminding me about that. and about the battle filler stuff, i wasn't talking about your comments. that had been unrelated to your post. the only parts that were involving your previous post had been the mizukage/zetsu part, and the length of chapter.

This is just my little prediction thing...
But I think someone will contact the HQ and confirm to Tsunade that Dan is in fact on the battle field.. And I think that she will further elaborate on the GHOST Tech and will try and stop him herself using talk-no jutsu, but it wouldn't work this time and she dies by the GhOST Tech.....

Thats a good point. Lady chiyo jutsu abilities makes me think she might know a tech. to counter the reanimation jutsu.

I assumed he would lose his immortality if he did not make regular sacrifices to jashin. But it seems yakuza's logic is infallible...if he didn't get revived then he's prob not dead! Duh!

I dont think White Fang is coming cause when he had his convo with Kakashi during the Pain Arc his soul was set free therefore Kabuto cant summon him. Just re-read the part where Kabuto explains to Tobi how Edo works.

my thoughts exactly and even if he's not technically dead, how much energy could one have left after all that time, blood loss, hunger? he's dead, unless kishi plays a prank and introduces him with full chakra

even if she is protecting them, if madara and sasuke fight her which most likely will happen... she will either die trying to protect them or be forced to fall back from the area. i doubt sasuke will have anything to do with this though, he only goal is the leaf village... and since the feudal lords had nothing to do with the events that took place with the uchiha, they should be safe from sasuke. so it would be madara and zetsu vs mizukage, sadly though i think madara will kill her with ease and have zetsu drain her chakra and give it to madara. making it a very fast defeat for the mizukage.

he had his head cut off, and was still alive, no lungs to breath from.... and again when he was at the bottom of that hole he had just his head again and he was still alive. he doesnt need air, i think he made a pact with his god to be serve him and be immortal as a award... and i still think he is alive.
hes only been down there for like a week or alittle more than that.

im anxious to see mifune vs hanzou. i can see why he was revered as a legend; his slugs poison people and he cheapshot kills stunned guys.

i really don't care for choji or ino, but shikamaru is entertaining.

why hasnt kisame been brought back? surely kabuto collected dna beforehand..
same goes for hidan. for sure hidan's dead and for sure kabuto has spare dna of his.

the banana fan had to simply disappear. it was way overpowered by its description. or maybe gaara's sister upgraded her fan but that would be really lame.

and maybe edo tensei isnt restricted only to humans. maybe manda and other big ass summons will be brought back.

who has sarutobi's monkey staff?

edit : come to think of it, given that hidan ought to be dead and kabuto ought to have collected hidan's dna. kabuto would essentially be the most badass villain killing from the shadows. he'd use hidan's ritual with someone's dna from inside a random cave and win without a fight.
