Wow. it's a very good chapter and I hope more great battles are waiting for. The most important one is the battle of Bee and Naruto with Susaka and Madara. Coming to Oro-Kabuto, I think he is main objective is not this battle but killing Susaka taking the Sharinga and trying to finish Madara as he thinks it's the only a worth opponent to him in strength as he is thinking (just a speculation).

Did anyone notice that the mist guy is also a member of the Seven sword men although he is also a sensor and a hunter-nin....i think he's gonna lead kabuto to the scene or he can handle imself well....but amazing chapter....kankuro is amazing( though i think sasori didnt want to fight but he couldnt help it

Now that the Ambush Squad have had a way of killing off the Edo Tensei, I believe they should relay this information to the Alliance Force in order to avoid more casualties before the main event.
Kankarou on the other hand has shown maturity by leading his team to success
Overall the chapter was great and awesome.
NOw I want to see how the Zetsus will die, thinking that they absorb chakra when get in contact with their enemies.

There were lots of threads about kankurou's new puppet being sasori. On the hokage meeting before sasuke drops in they have this 'everyone draws there weapon' scene were kankurou's puppet looks allot like sasori and now it confirmed that this indeed whas sasori's puppet body.

Frankly, I think this was a brilliant chapter. The action had the same pared-down slickness of Kishi's best issues - he excels at never drawing a frame too many, a skill the anime has decided to take and completely ignore.
And what a beautiful ending! I can't believe people are complaining about it. Think about what, traditionally, a soul is. It's something that is affected by other things through meaningful relatonships, not a mindless puppet. There was no chance of Deidara or Sasori being defeated in this way, because they've broken off all their meaningful relationships, but the others they've resurrected . . . Kakashi could fight Zabuza and remind him of their final conversation; Dan and Tsunade; Asuma and Shikamaru; Sakura and Chiyo; Neji and Hizashi.
Kishi's smarter than we give him credit for: this comes back to Orochimaru and Madara and Kabuto's lack of respect for other humans. The independence of souls is never something they'd consider because they don't care enough for what a soul represents. They'll never understand the extent to which humans can love and want to help one another, which is the precise reason why Nagato and Konan switched their alliegance to Naruto. Could Edo Tensei be a symbol of Naruto's healing of the ninja world? Wouldn't that be wonderful.
Two final points: one, I'm glad to see the ambush team is composed of competent ninjas. It wasn't a case of Kabuto, Omoi and Sai racing to protect everyone else; Ittan, in particular, reacted with impressive speed to first protect everyone from Deidara's first bomb, and then to derail Deidara's attack plan. Good show.
And two, Sai is awesome.

Great chapter.......shinobi alliance doing a lot better than I thought they would against "invincible" zombies......I think there's a trend with some of the people kabuto summoned.....a lot of the good characters have unfinished business emotionally that I gues is tying them to earth...for example shin didn't c sai's drawing Dan hasn't seen tsunade in a while neji's dad nvr saw his son all grown up, azula hasn't seen shikamaru, itachi hasn't seen how sasuke has grown....it's like there stories aren't done but when there finally at peace like when shin saw sai's drawing...it freed his soul.....only the one closet to him could save him/free his soul....a little too easy but also a good message...and I think there's gonna b a lot of the next generation surpassing the previous throughout the war...

Great chapter, I always said Sai was an underrated character, after all he's a member of Konoha's elite ANBU Root, regardless of there methods they are a good fighting force the should be feared.
The person that completely caught me by surprise was non other than Kankuro, he utterly pwnd the Akatsuki ambush team with such level of strategic mastery even to rival Shikamaru and Kakashi.

Yeah I agree. I was also surprised that Deidara and Sasori were able to fall into Kankuro's trap so easily. Always thought They were both way above his level in skill and intelligence. Guess not lol
Couldn't have said it better myself, the lack of respect and the little value that people like Madara, Kabuto and Orochimaru gives is going to be there down fall, Edo Tensei is a powerful jutsu, but greater the power greater the threat to the user.
Kabuto will loose focus and get cocky at some point where he will resurrect one too many, that would be his end, the resurrected spirit shall roam the plains of the living until a single unfulfilled wish is fulfilled, how poetic.....

OK....lets get this straight once and for all:
All members of the Uzumaki clan (pure blooded) has red hair, but (here's the kicker) NOT all red heads in Narutovrse are from the Uzumaki clan. She is a prisoner of war, I think she would be treated as such, the last we know of Jugo, and Suigetsu (water dude) is that they were implied as to have been caught by the Samurai of the land of Iron
