[Predictions] Naruto Manga Chapter 517 Discussion and 518 Predictions

It was a good chapter. Kankuro's team lost. Immortal means they can't be killed by their attacks and poisons wont work, cutting is also out the picture. Immortal also means they may have unlimited chakra. It was stated that if one runs out of chakra they die but they can't die. If not unlimited then just a huge amount because every shinobi has god level stored and they just can't use it because of the gates.

Esp. Kankuro and Sasori! Hopefully Kankuro will be able to pay back.

Did anyone else think that sai's brother looked just like Sakura? When I first looked at it I was like, "holy s**t" then I saw it was Sai's brother lol.

The funny thing is that Kankurou has sasori as a puppet and Sasori will have to fight his own self.

Gud chapter, kankurou has his hands full fighting sasori esp with sasori red secret technique (100 puppets). I agree it should be funny watching sasori see himself lol I can only imagine deidara's reaction xd

Deidara will be a hard to fight esp when he can use short, mid, and long range attacks. The most dangerous attack will have to be his small nano bombs which can only be seen with rinnegan, sharigan, or byakugan.

Now that the war has started with actual combat, it'll be interesting how the Shinobi alliance deals with the "immortal" ninjas. Does anyone else see Naruto coming in just with his new powers to send all the Edo Tensei ninjas back where they belong?

I think that is a manga error..I think the word sense was suppose to be for the sensor ninja from the hidden mist..also I dont think it was ment to be a spoken word, but just letting the reader know that he was using his sensing jutsu...because right after it say's sense he say's "found them"

For the most part, a decent chapter, though many individuals were expecting much more, considering it was to be the beginning of the Fourth Shinobi War. It seems like both Kabuto and Orochimaru's Edo Tensei has a dangerous weakness to it, as the resurrected Shinobi can be completely bound and then truly said to have been defeated, where Kabuto can then be placed under an illusion and dispel the technique, against his will of course. Seems like we have no information as to where Kabuto's other summons are, or where the 100,000 Zetsu went; we might not get any hint for at least three chapters. But in the meantime, this looks to be an interesting battle coming up in the war.

Finally some clarification on Edo Tensei, but we can forget kabuto is adaptive to genjutsu and with the combination of oro powers he wont be placed under it so easily..during the konoha invasion with oro, kabuto placed the whole entire stadium under his genjutsu. To place an entire stadium filled with ppl under a genjutsu is pretty impressive. Let me know what you think. Criticism of all kind are welcomed

As expected the first few chapters of the war will be slow but after 3 or 4 chapters things will get interesting. But it was a good chapter.

Dude I thought that it was Sakura, it just shows you how manly Sakura is lol and how on earth did Sai distinguished between his brother and Sakura.

Ineresting chapter. I wonder if Kabuto knew the captain of the Alliance ambush squad would be a controller of puppets so he sent Sasori specifaclly for that? Nice chapter overall but I REALLY hope Anko isn't dead! you seldomly see her but she's so awesome! I don't wanna see her die without a fight...

I wont say its kishi's fault, but the translators fault lol but then again its a possibility that sasori did sense kankurou's group before the hidden mist sensor did. When it said "sense" I think it was really ment to allow the reader to know that sasori had sense kankurou and the group..The way it was written makes it seem like he verbally said the word "sense" which in reality makes no sense

So sai gets to be the first to encounter an emotional battle - he who have forgotten what emotions are and depend mostly in his books for definition. Ooh, poor Sai, are you gonna get your book out this time, or will you be able to completely remember what emotions are? *sniff-sniff*...Oh Kishi, please don't kill Sai.

Anko died then. We're kinda starting to feel the tremors of wars now, ha. OMG! we're gonna be loosing a lot of loved characters from here on - oh noees - just don't kill m' Kakashi again!...

Yup, kabuto is skilled with genjutsu, but how is he going to deal with multiple genjutsu's being cast on him? Dont forget theres ninja's from the great 5 shinobi villeage and im sure there are some pretty strong genjutsu users...Theres only 2 ppl that I can think of who can cast a strong enough genjutsu on kabuto without him breaking it and that's madara and sasuke. I feel sasuke will fight kabuto some time during this war and he will be the one to dispell the jutsu. I also feel that he will meet Itachi again and learn the real truth about madara...
