Not Creepy...At all...Actually Admirable to me.....I think Nagato knew that Konan and Yahiko liked each other... He was just happy as a friend to see them finally act on it.... I don't think they did the do though... I think they just kissed....

I bet madara going to get naruto some how but naruto going to show the power of sage mode mixed in with the power of the nine-tailed fox

Danzo wasn't bad???? Double-dealing with Hanzo of the Rain to eliminate a threat to Hanzo's Amakagure domination in exchange for what dirty, as yet unknown favor?? Standing by when Oro conspired with Sunagakure to overthrow Sandiame? Sitting in his basement with Root while Akatsuki ravaged the village, his village, in order to execute a power grab and become Hokage? Using a hidden, stolen jutsu in order to control the thoughts and ideas of Mifune to become the leader of the Five lands? Attempting, by any means necessary, again and again to consolidate power to wield it under his own twisted sense of what is Right by a non-democratic invisible black hand of government based on his personal committee of one (himself). Ordering the genocide of the Uchiha? Brainwashing his Root members, orphans whom by his tutelage learned they are not to feel, not to smile or laugh or think? Not bad???? Totalitarianism, Fascism, ring a bell?
Orochimaru is a psycopathic homocidal maniac. He used bodies like kleenex. His experimentation, excused as curiosity by you, is akin to the horrors of Dr. Josef Mengele, the Nazi SS 'doctor' whose human experiments were pathetic and completely misguided. Nagato, I'll mostly agree with you there. Although not an innocent and not guilt-less. He redeemed himself somewhat with the Gedo Rinne which resurrected many villagers of Konoha. He eliminated the oppressors in his own land. He saw the light in the end.
Obito was not evil. He's just dead. He sacrificed himself for the greater good and taught Kakashi to follow his heart and not just the rules. HE IS NOT TOBI!!! Even if, somehow Madara used his eye or what was left of his body, its Madara who would be the guilty one. (Which I Doubt, highly)
Sasuke is a little bitch. He's blinded by self-pity and has been seduced by hatred. He is the anit-Naruto. When life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. Sasuke sucks the lemons and wants more. I suppose he could still be redeemed, but I doubt before his final death-scene. He is barreling down the highway to evil right now. Anger, hatred...tools of the dark side are these.
Gotta admit that this was the first boring chapter in awhile(perhaps the worst in 3 years).If it weren`t for the last two pages i would have given the chapter a 0.
we already knew jiraiya cared for the children so if they were going to show some flashbacks of their past it should have been way more interesting, and not necessary battles but something konan did in the past which impacted the group.At least we know konan died...
At first i thought madara`s mask was ugly but after some thoughts, i think it looks pretty cool.I think we can assume now he implanted the eyes on himself, which make him insanely powerful.I don`t think he would give up his sharingan so it must be a mix between that and the rinnegan.Can`t wait to see it in action and first time in a long time we have seen the stick he uses, so maybe it is a symbol on his regained powers.
i feel like it is too soon for madara to meet naruto in the series, because we know naruto is not ready for a battle, since his training just started.my guess is that madara either going after naruto now,but somehow misses him and get killerbee instead. or he sends sasuke who needs to practise with his new abilities.

I thought that was a whole new person wearing the mask, and was like WHAT! Then it just said it was a new mask. hehe But who will get the new eyes and did Sasuke really get Itachi's eyes? (honestly I don't remember) :flaw: btw I like how this puts the bbcodes in for us.

dang everyones bad mouthing this chapter lol if kishi didn't create such flashbacks the manga wouldn't give us more information about certain ppl...konan was the only trio of nagato and yahiko that we didn't kno much about other then she could use paper jutsu n enter akatsuki because of nagato...even tho konan didn't really have a big part in the naruto universe, giving a flashback of her was needed..to show what she was thinking in her last moments of her life... if kishi had just killed her off ppl would have been like wtf he doesn't care about anyone but sasuke n blah blah blah.
As a writer, balancing action with detailed information n dialouge is sometimes necessary even tho to us it seems pointless to create a few pages of flashbacks.
anywho back to the manga* sasuke is actually using madara in return. Sasuke isn't the one to allow someone to use him..sasuke didn't forget that madara along with danzo n the other konoha higher ups where the reason why the uchiha all died..Sasuke is going to get his revenge on madara trust me...why would a servivor of the uchiha clan work hand in hand with one of the murderers?

um dude, not to offend u but the whole point was Konan and her flashback. The chapter WAS NOT boring and if u aren't able to see the imagery behind the deaths of those 3, then u should re-read the whole chapter 50+ times until u finally understand it. Madara's mask only signified a new arc possibly coming or just a skip through to a new "scene". Please don't write things that make no sense without proper understanding of the actual chapter's significance. I don't like the fact that people constantly rant on Naruto because they don't include enough fighting... SERIOUSLY????!?!?!??! that chapter( along with Asuma and Jiraiya) was on the top tier of saddest chapters ever.

I totally agree about the first part! When Konan's tab flipped over and she was finally home with everyone... that was SO sad! But in the end, I guess they really were all together, and they accomplished what they sort of wanted... well, they passed it on to Naruto. GREAT CHAPTER! And seriously people, if you don't understand the sadness of that chapter and are going to complain about not seeing sasuke's eyes, I don't think you understand what the manga's all about.
Everything Danzo was doing was not for himself. He wanted to make Konoha safe. He knew about the Akatsuki, he knew about rival countries. Everything to him was for the sake of Konoha. He was after the title of Hokage, but that was so he can do what he believes was needed for the continued existence of Konoha, not because he was power hungry to become a dictator.
Orochimaru was messed up in the head, but if the way you put Danzo comes to mind for Orochimaru, then what about the elders and 3rd hokage? They all allowed these experiments from Orochimaru. It was advancing their understandings. The only reason they crashed down on him later was because of the fact Orochimaru stole forbidden jutsu scrolls from Konoha to use to hopefully create immortality. I'm sure with your logic on Danzo, the 3rd and all the elders are quite evil too.

Thank you for restating what I said about Sasuke and the fact the Obito is not Tobi towards me in a rude manner. Please read thoroughly before saying "OBITO IS NOT TOBI!" as a response to my already stated "I doubt Obito can turn into a super bad guy after all the good he did before dieing.".

Yes, and if you check back to when Madara encountered Danzo to have Sasuke fight him, Madara lost his arm there too. It was poisoned and he cut it off himself before the poison was able to spread to the rest of his body. I thought it could have been Izanagi at first, but he used it against Konan and still was missing the arm. Maybe it was Zetsu or a regenerating ability he possesses? Would be scary if he does have a regenerating power.
zetsu, orobuto and todara will try to get 8/9 at the same time since they got kisame's intel.
sasuke (maybe) will confront the 5kages again with his EMS power.
Q: did madara combined his sharingan+rinnegan into one?
to be able to fully control jubii, he needs 3 more tomoe, will he take sasuke's?
if he will take kakashi, he got only one sharingan, and his power is almost the same as his but only difference is the distance.
sasuke (maybe) will confront the 5kages again with his EMS power.

If anyone is messed up its the elders, they allowed for the massacre of the uchiha clan, making their own an outcast and leaving a boy of about 7 alone with no family who is now messed up and coming after them to kill them, just so they could be happy. **** move on their part

Now that Madara has the Rinnegan, I honestly don't think Naruto stands a chance against him in his current form. He's going to have to better harness the Nine-Tailed Fox's chakra, otherwise he will lose against Madara. We saw Naruto being subdued by Pain two times before the Nine-Tails' malevolence erupted through his body, giving him newfound strength, and now he will soon be facing another opponent with the Rinnegan, much more skilled, one who has an incredible space time ninjutsu and the ability to perform the most powerful illusion in the Naruto world: Izanagi.
Whether Naruto will receive assistance has yet to be seen, but if he fights Madara one-on-one on the island, he simply isn't powerful enough to defeat him. Many have also said that Madara's acquirement of the Rinnegan will no longer allow him to use Izanagi or his space-time ninjutsu, but I do not think this is true. The Sage of the Six Paths, who had a Rinnegan, used Izanagi to bring the ninja world into existence, but on the point of his space-time ninjutsu, I think he still will be able to use it, though this is questionable.

But will he still have his space-time justsu. imo I think not, the justu seem to originated from his eye, his sharingan, which he does not have anymore since he impanted the rennigan
