to me it looks like Madara ended his own edo tensen why else would he say tell the caster ie kabuto he shouldnt use forbidden jutsu carelessly i dont think madara wants to be an edo tensen he wants to be alive i think Tobi will resurect him because i think madara created him for that reason Tobi has stated that he want to complete i think thats what he means and what Madara said when he was first summoned so it finaly happen that nagato brat has grown its all a big plan and all we seen are afew pieces and him wanting sasuke is part of that plan a young body for Madara to be ressurected in thats my therory

Madara is not immortal and has infinite chakra. Please reread the chapter. If he knew the seals to release the edo then why not do it earlier? Easy the edo makes him immortal and gives him an infinite chakra pool. He didn't want to release it for this reason while fighting high level opponents such as the kages. He clearly states that it is troublesome to give up these abilities to finish his current fight. His statement about not messing with forbidden techniques is basically a statement that Kabuto didn't understand the opponents that he raised with edo. He underestimated Itachi's ability to release from the edo, as well as Madara's ability to release it. Basically Madara goes back to his former self. He will not be able to regenerate any damage he takes and using high level abilities like perfect Susano will drain his chakra quickly.

Shouldn't releasing the edo contract cut the one tie Madara's soul has to the world?
If Madara has unlimited chakra where does it all come from? It can't come from nature because with no chakra of his own, all that nature chakra would turn him into a stone frog, or at least give him new powers.
I think its salfe to say the kages are now dead meat, they're probably all out of chakra and facing an enemy who out guns them and has unlimited chakra.

Well i had a feeling madara would stay. Since he has been praised by the characters to do Godly technique and by Kakashi that anything done by madara would be believed by him. If itachi could break the edo tensei then what would that make madara. Also I think kishi would also view himself as creating a worthless character like madara if he only showed him doing only two godly jutsus and then just that. Where the heck is someone gonna summon the Hishirama and where are the senju clan

Even if Kabuto knew that there was a way to break free from Edo Tensei, he wasn't concerned. He never intended to give them the opportunity to form the seals, and if he wanted to dispel them, he'd have locked them up i a coffin. He was justified in thinking that he was safe. He didn't count on Itachi, however. I think Kabuto knew about the release, it's just that he didn't worry about it, because he figured no one would know how, or at least get the chance to do it. He wasn't planning on releasing it himself.

See, I had this same thought. Infinite Chakra? No way, I can't even imagine that the ET victim would have that to begin with - simply till they are destroyed and reformed as Madara had been before.
