kisame did use samehada to gain chakara..on page 5 u could see him grabbing samehada and also when aoba did his secret stone needles to try and stun kisame..kisame actually sucked chakara out of him to..:flaw:

kisame let go of samehada on page 4 so it was next to bee when he was draining that guys chakara and i cant see samehada on anywhere on page 5.

A decent chapter. I suspect that perhaps both Gai and Kisame might end up dying, and the scroll that is hidden in one of Kisame's sharks will reach Madara. Will Killer Bee be captured? Perhaps, and that shall mark the beginning of the Fourth Shinobi War.

I used to think Kisame created Samehada, I guess not now, does anyone know the origin of Samehada?

Samehada is the same as other swords of the 7 swordsmen of the mist,its passed down from one generation to another.

Insane chapter, I guess Kisame might win after all, I think Gai will die next week, since he's opening most of his gates and if he misses, Kisame can finish him off. But I wonder if the shark with the scroll will get away, hopefully it does and Kisame prevails.

Also, Samehada was left behind, anyone think that once it's all alone with Killer Bee that it will suck his chakra and end up consuming him and escaping the island? There's really no reason for Kisame to leave Samehada behind if he didn't have a plan.

So long as Kisame has his sword to drain peoples chakra and restore His health only Naruto is safe in Sage Mode, that sword can't handle that kind of chakra, so I say in the end Naruto is going to have to handle Kisame.

I would like to see Samehada transforming into stone.

Its 7/10 imo. Pretty decent but felt rushed and like it was just spamming special moves..which is sad when its involves a Taijutsu user like Gai. Still, I did like the chapter some and the Afternoon Tiger is a cool move.

Kisame has got to die...Akatsuki is falling apart....
naruto can show off his new powers yet...He's still basking in the glory of defeating Pein (who is the awesome-est ninja ever,...second only to Madara).
Guy, a third party, is here to spice things up.

My problem is that although this was a good chapter, it makes no sense and would be absolutely pathetic if any information was able to be passed to Akatsuki because there are 4 Jounins and 2 Jinchuurikis there against a decently skilled opponent. OK Naruto "sprains" his ankle...are you serious? He is Jinchuuriki...even without using the fox's chakra he has amazing healing abilities...and Yamato could easily get out and constrict Kisame, and I understand Gai wants Kisame to himself but thats selfish considering if information on Naruto and KB is leaked it could result in an advantage from Akatsuki. Also, I"m sure Kisame obtained chakra from Samehada but he didnt hold on for a long time, and also, like I said, KB is a Jinchuuriki! He has unlimited chakra practically plus his bijuu is basically water type so he should be in 8 tails form in the water waiting to kick some shark ass. ( The one with the scroll)

1) The chapter was more then 14 pages, some where double.
2) The kyubii is no longer influencing Naruto, can't heal him, Naruto has to learn how to heal himself.
3) It shoud be a nice fight, pretty sure Samehada is KBs.
4) Kisame can clearly absorb other peoples chakra, it makes sense that he could also steal what Samehada has.

Well it seems to be another set up for action manga. I don't see how you can use 14+ pages to say nothing except Naruto's hurt Kisame is weakened and Gai's at gate 7 already. A little bit of a let down because of the wait but I'm still jonesin' for the next pages.
As for predictions; I was hoping to see Naruto's new hotness but it looks like Gai will go all 8 gates and destroy Kisame but somehow the intel will get out.

I still can't believe how much of a let down this chapter was, Bee basically drained from his huge amount of Chakra in seconds, that lame one.... Second Naruto sprains his ankle which I know is a special wall etc and he hasn't learnt to use the fox power to heal himself but still that is just pretty lame, it just was lame overall:flaw:

I like the chapter and all but if Gai dies by fighting Kisame I will be dissapointed. It was kind of short too and I also agree with the guy who said that it was BS that naruto broke his ankle or foot from using the 9 tails power. Kind of lame if you ask me

Here's someone who almost caught the Hachibi, Besides if the 7th gate could disperse the water, then why couldn't Bees chakra? Seriously sensing some plot holes. I just hope this isn't going to be a case of the good gai's(pun intended) always win.

kakashi said if one opens all 8 gates he could attain more power than the hokage and since he opened 7 gates he should be kage level

cuz back then kisame had sameheda to suck in bee's chackra and it would be stupid for him to hand his chackra over like that
