Well considering the fact that Itachi didn't kill Madara shows that Itachi knew Madara was stronger than him. Look at it this way after the massacre Itachi knew that Madara wasn't gonna stay still but he didn't do anything to Madara also Itachi implanted Amaterasu on Sasuke so that Madara can't reach Sasuke so Itachi knew that Madara might try to convince Sasuke so why didn't Itachi didn't kill Madara.The answer is most probably because Itachi knew that he couldn't beat Madara. Also Itachi told Sasuke that Madara was his mentor. And Minato defeated Madara. So don't need any other things to sayxd.

Madara at the situation he is right now is not stronger than Itachi. Itachi first of all wouldn't want to attack him, because he was simply spying on him in order for him to gather valuable information about Akatsuki's motives (mostly involving Konoha) and propably about Madara's power.

Madara said if Itachi knew everything (it seems that Itachi didn't have a complete image of Madara's Space-time Jutsu, something Madara hid well), he would be dead. In addition, Itachi had already business with Sasuke. He made a clear plan about dying in front of Sasuke, so that Sasuke attains new power (MS and then EMS) and become a hero of Konoha and I believe he hoped that Naruto and Sasuke would be the ones to counter and defeat Uchiha Madara. He may also have thought the possibility of Sasuke being manipulated by Madara and goes against Konoha, so he gave Naruto a gift (it may be a power that Itachi would originally wield, I like the jewel theory, but don't want to talk about it atm) that would help Sasuke realise what he should really do, defeat Madara and possibly get forgiven by the 5 Great Nations (which could happen, especially by the Fire and Sand Villages).

Madara did not have EMS on his fight with Minato, he only used the space-time jutsu. Minato was faster and more skillful and beat him. And because Minato beat a one-jutsu spammer (that's how Madara is atm), doesnt' mean that "Madara is the strongest..mmm he was beaten by Minato, so...ah! Minato>Madara>All -> Minato>All.

I may be an Itachi fan but I have my own arguements. Just to make it clear.

My guess is that Kisame will die very soon unless he stills holds something up his sleeve. I mean we have already seen his every move and usually thats the time when a villain dies. Like with Sasori, Itachi, Deidara, Danzo and Pain. And I dont think theres anything waiting for him in the main story except if Kishi has decided to deepen the storyline between Kisame and Suigetsu which I dont believe.

i'm curious about the gai vs kisame fight. we haven't seen yet much of gai's power.
i think gai will finish him of himself without naruto/bee interrupting tbh.

Knowing Gai, he will probably want to test his strength and therefore make everyone else stand back while he fights Kisame. If this is the case, more than likely KB and Yamato will stand back and help Naruto while Gai fights Kisame. I think that Gai wants a rematch and Kisame will accept. If this ends up happening, I think Gai will be pushed to his limits, entering the 7th gate possibly. I think he'll push Kisame to his limits too, and we might see some new moves but probably not. We might see Gai go into the 8th gate, but considering he has teammates around, I doubt it. I think Kisame will defeat Gai using his shark transformation, but Naruto will come out and kill him. I hope this happens because then we will get to see an epic fight instead of a 2 page battle.

i highly doubt they would have allowed anyone from root to enter the chunin exams or that the third hokage would have not known about him.
most of his life in konoha has been recorded, but just not told to us. not only that but sai said he had died of illness

i dont think he would have lied about that. there was nothing to gain from it.
and when sai met kabuto with orochimaru they didnt exchange words once in lines like "hello again" "long time no see, brother"
and sai still had a bond with his "brother" so he would have said something.

he only uses it in the anime and games, the manga doesnt have kakashi using fire style (yet if ever)

maybe i should go into itachi and fourth abit more.
well everyone is just going to back their fave of the two so clearly i prefer the fourth, but i do think itachi is the best uchiha (and my fave of them)
the reason i say minato is better is cause
A he has shown he can out maneuver the sharingan
B jiraiya said minato was a genious that would apear once in a generation, and he has proven that he has deserved that statement

itachi is ridiculously awesome but i just dont think he is good enough to beat minato one on one.
would be a great fight though.

i think next chapter gai and (improvised) co will just hold kisame off from escaping while naruto catches up ready to finish kisame off.
im debated about wether naruto is going to kill kisame and zetsu will inform madara of naruto's new powers or if kisame gets saved by madara or zetsu.
its in favour of kisame's death though, soz to the fans.
he is one awesome fish, the new captain birds eye is going to be made into bite size fish fingers

I wonder if Naruto is ever going to learn Minato's FTG move. He might need it in order to defeat Madara. I don't think speed is enough to touch Madara.

Yes Itachi planned to die by Sasuke's hands but he could have killed Madara knowing that Madara might do something that will bring chaos in the world. Also Sasuke being one of the few Uchihas remaining is also a factor. And how would Itachi hoped that Naruto and Sasuke will beat Madara. First of all at that time I don't think Itachi knew Naruto at all and secondly we are talking about Madara. Itachi wouldn't have just hope that Sasuke will be able to beat the strongest Uchiha in the history. He must have thought of killing Madara but knew that Madara was stronger than him. And then when Itachi learned that Naruto was Sauske's friend he gave Naruto some power thinking if Sasuke becomes evil. And Itachi implanted Amaterasu on Saseke so that when Madara's Sharingan sees Sasuke Amaterasu will be activated automatically and Madara will be caught off guard. So if Itachi was so concerned about Madara then why didn't he kill Madara so that after Itachi died then according to his plan Sasuke would have been relieved by gaining his revenge and then he would have become a good guy but it didn't happen. So its basically obvious that Itachi knew that he couldn't beat Madara. And about Minato vs Itachi we haven't seen them fight so it very argumentative but knowing that Minato was at least able to surprise Madara off guard and handle Madara's space time techs I think Minato is a bit stronger than Itachi again its my point of view. Also Itachi said that Madara was his mentor and Madara knows almost every MS techs so I don't think that Itachi could have done anything to Madara. So its obvious that just wasn't stronger that Madara. I am also a Itachi fan but its a simple fact which I had to admit.

Well I wasn't talking about Pain I was only talking about Madara and it seems like at the time of the Uchiha massacre Madara didn't made Akatsuki but Itachi didn't do anything to Madara why simple because he couldn't moreover Itachi told Sasuke that Madara was his mentor so Itachi knew that Madara knew all about his techs because Madara had MS for like over 100 years or for some long time.
