I think Samehada didn't knew that Kisame was suppose to switch body with Zetsu. So when Kisame switched body with the clone then Samehada was lacking the "Kisame factor" you know what I mean and that's why probably Samehada was liking Killer Bee's chakra and then Kisame hid himself inside of Samehada and Samehada realized that Kisame was back. Interesting thing is if Kisame is killed what will happen to Samehada will it go back to Killer Bee or somehow Naruto will get it

Well don't take it personally. But the same samehada did't do that when kisame-samehada was fighting bee right... And also 4th used a similar kind of mark for teleportation jutsu when he saved Kakashi from a ninja when he was young (kakashi tried chidori for the first time on a enemy ninja).

Again, Naruto is a japanese manga, sometimes (as in very rarely) there was an error in translation which might be caused by lack of direct translation in English or by lack of understanding (by the translator) of the manga or simply by lack of time that made the translator didn't think clearly. The conversation between Sakura and Shino that you're revering to, in my opinion is one of those rare occasion.

Here is the definition of teleportation according to dictionary, A hypothetical method of transportation in which matter or information is dematerialized, usually instantaneously, at one point and recreated at another. Granted that in my opinion the normal space/time jutsu in Naruto world won't include the dematerialized and recreated parts, but Madara seems to have an advance space/time jutsu which involve those parts although it's not necessarily combine with the transportation part. We can see that the 'teleportation' that Sakura and Shino discussed was not the same with the definition of teleportation in English dictionary. Therefor to me the correct translation should be 'body flicker' not 'teleportation'.

One word: Narutoverse. Kishi reigns there so we don't know anything unless he says it.

I don't think Hanzo use space/time jutsu, take a look at the page after the Sakura and Shino discussion, there Kakashi thought, "he made no (hand) seals, had no summoning tattoos and still got his body out of the area?" leading him to conclude that Madara used space/time jutsu which is more advance than the 4th's. So I think Hanzo just used reverse summoning, which we all know that summoning has similar result with teleportation but differ in the method of doing it.

Teleportation in Naruto world, I think happened by manipulating both the space and the time, so the user would be able to transport farther in much less time (like almost instantly) than normal movement. However Minato's FTG is much faster than normal space/time, because he combine the space/time jutsu with the Uzumaki's sealing technique, which resulted in FTG almost exactly the same as summoning without the hand seals and tattoos.

Is it really Uzumaki's sealing tech? No proof of that, could be that Minato discovered it by himself. Space-time techs apparently in the manga are used to transport something and in my opinion only a part of the space-time tech users were capable of transporting themselves with it and it is probably instanteneous after the preparations have been made (meaning Minato's seals and Madara's vortex thingy swallowing him up). It just takes time for Madara to be taken in and spat out by the vortex.

I agree with you, that's why I asked the question before. But when you add your question about Killer Bee, then I think of something that for me make more sense. Maybe there is something in that place that prevent chakras' absorbing. What do you think?

Possible, but I think it is unlikely, and it would have been mentioned by Kisame as 'And not only the two jinchuurikis and the mokuton user but I can't drain their chakra here due to some reason, I really am at a great disadvantage'. Usually the simplest solution is the best one, so I am betting on Samehada not being able to absorb chakra when he is inside it, after all it's a different form than when they merged.

I think Minato didn't have time to perfect rasengan due to his early dead. Of course he knew all those. He was a genius after all, he rescued Kushina from her kidnappers (I think all jounins) by himself at age 12.

Yes, by 'but did not succeed in doing that while he was alive' I meant that due to his early death he did not get enough time to perfect it.

Just go back and read all the comments and wild speculation of who could beat who in a fight when one or both characters full potential have never been brought to light. Example. Madara and 4th Hokage. The 4th only used a few techniques and assumptions ran rampant he was weak cause he CANT DO THIS TECHN OR THAT JUTSU- how can anyone come to that conclusion based on one battle... In any fight the objective is to kick the crap outta the other person asap...using the most effective means (technique justsu etc) available. That does not mean you cannot do other fabulous techniques, it just means based on what you know of the opponent this or that would be the best moves to use against your opponent. HOPE THAT MAKES MORE SENSE TO YOU NOW.

Anyway stuff is flying all other place about who could do this and who couldnt do that...this one is stronger than that one because... blah blah blah.. Thus the reason I used the term absurd because we ARE ALL SPECULATING, wishing and FANATASING and letting our IMAGINATIONS RUN WILD TRYING to figure things out...AND YES THAT INCLUDES ME AS WELL. so that is why I said 1, 2 & 3 above.

I'm guessing someone mention this already but, did anyone notice the markings around Naruto's chest when he accessed the nine tails chakra, it looks like that sneak peak we got of how the sage of the six paths used to look like, wonder if theres any connection there, or reason to why it looks similar

No wonder if there is confusion, the English TV translated it as teleportation.
Shunshin Jutsu is body flicker and that's exactly why I said the translation is wrong, and if you used Naruto wikia as a reference, then I think they agree with me, or more correctly I agree with them.

In case of Hanzo, yes you're right he used body flicker although it would make more sense if he used reverse summoning (which according to Naruto wikia is a part of space/time jutsu). However Kishi said it's a body flicker then body flicker it is.

Lol, I think we are splitting hair here, what I meant was that Minato learnt Fūin jutsu (sealing techniques) from Kushina, I don't know if the FTG seal was a pre existing seal or Minato, inspired by Fūin jutsu, invented the seal (most likely this was what happened, I agree with you), combined it with his space/time jutsu and FTG was created.

You're right, you got a valid reason there. Still, I can't believe that's the explanation though, because the purpose of the fusion is to become stronger, if the fusion caused Samehada to lose its ability then it seems like the fusion makes them weaker. Well I guess we have to wait for Kishi then.

we have the same fave characters just add the j man to that and thats my top 3. sucks that they all dead now sigh. well i guess its for the best minato would have been too much of a monster if still left alive, he would have been sorta like kenshin's master he was too strong to be used in the manga frequently.

My favorite characters are Minato and Itachi. These two guys are by far the very definition of genius for me.

Mine are Itachi and Jyraia.

The first was a genius. The very definition of a mega powerfull ninja. Never in his face did you ever see him "suffering" or suprised by the power of his oponent, or afraid or anything. He always just showed calm and precision. Fantastic.

jyraia was a ninja without any special trait in the middle of two (at the time) genius: Orochimaru and Tsunade. Always beneath them. But he proved to be an insanly strong ninja. Talented, powerfull, wise, inteligent. Superb.


Sakura...well...it's a pity that kishi is so sexyst. No woman in Naruto seems to be powerfull...even in the past, there was no strong ninja woman...(Except the spitting Kage woman and tsunade and even them...). And when they seem powerfull, the spot light moves to the men. Sakura had her time to shine: Sasori. After that, it's all downhill. She would have no chance against any other main caracter now. Maybe against for example hinata, or neiji, or choji or some of the others. But not a chance against Tsuande, Sasuke, Kakashi, Yamato, Naruto, Killerbee, etc.

Oh and someone said that minato would win against the sannin and what not and even the whole hokage vs this and that...People, the VS discussion are very engaging and seem to involve everyone very much....why not a thread for exactly that: VS. I would post in that... lol Because here it becomes a little to much...lol

Well, we saw the fusion and when in that form Kisame could absorb chakra by touching Killer Bee, but this is just Kisame in Samehada, not the real fusion. Or maybe Kishi didn't let Kisame drain chakra from Killer Bee because it was useless lol xd I sure hope Kisame escapes this though

But I do agree with you that this discussion is eroding - looks like people don't have much else to say, so they'll just wait until chapter 506 arrives.
