Dude great thinking your comments slightly changed my opinion about who was the last person in the coffin now I slightly believe that it could be Minato mainly because Minato had that other half of the Kyuubi with him so that would made Madara worry on the other hand it may create an opportunity for Naruto to get the other half as well. But the think is when we saw Oro used Edo Tensei and Sarutobi fight the 1st and 2nd though those two had their powers but surely they still hadn't had their full powers. Remember when Itachi and Kisamw fought Naruto and co with 30% of their powers even they those clones had the same abilities. The thing is Sarutobi at that age was actually doing pretty good against arguably two of the most powerful ninjas if that was the case then Sarutobi at that age was stronger than Madara because Madara was defeated by the 1st and Sarutobi defeated both 1st and 2nd likewise Oro defeated Sarutobi so does that mean Oro is stronger than Madara, 1st and 2nd. The answer is NO, so it is quite logical to think that Edo Tensei lets the user summon any ninja and their abilities but not at their full powers. Besides will the Kyuubi powers sealed in Minato come out as well. The thing is its quite an interesting theory but it has some flaws as well.

Thanx, and yeah...it's just a theory, that's why I am always eager to read the next chapter and find out what Kishi has planned for us. Never seems to disappoint with his plot. Until then all there is to do is to have my mind going different directions and speculate on what might happen. Another theory that I found myself leaning towards is Tobi might not be Madara Uchiha but just a poser with bipolar decease. Having Tobi surprsed when the last coffin came up and Kabuto saying "Don't worry your secret stays with me" or something like that, might just be the key to this theory.
Anywayz, great manga, bummer no chapter this week...

About minato being in the last coffin: The dead demon sealed him with the rest of the nine-tails and I can't imagine Kabuto being stronger that the dead demon to bypass his seals.

Then, a theory I'm still not sure about:

Tobi *might* not be madara. What we were told could be one of tobi's many lies and if that's the case and if the last of kabuto's summons is Madara himself, Tobi's fear can be justified.

Kabuto didn't want to call Tobi as "Madara" for some strange reason. Maybe kabuto doesn't think tobi really is madara (or maybe he does and I'm wrong).

Itachi didn't want his brother to ever meet Tobi. It makes even more sense to fear that meeting if he knew that Tobi was a mad impostor. Tobi also got the facts about the kyubi incident wrong (or lied). Does he really know what happened there?

On the other hand: Tobi has the same powers that Minato and Kushina remembered about Madara. And we weren't introduced to any other uchihas.

I'm still not sure about this theory and didn't believe it when I first saw it, but I think it's worth considering.

I found a discussion on "Itachi's gift to Naruto", that in japanese mythology there is a third item on top of Sword and Shiled, which resembles the necklace on SO6P's neck. The discussions speculated that the third item is able to shine the light on the darkest souls. Itachi might have given it to Naruto to help his little brother. May be all that shining from inside revealed that necklace gift that is inside Naruto?

Could it be that she saw in that dark chakra inside naruto (the fox) the same thing she saw in sasuke? or in madara?

She either saw the fox OR Itachi's gift. It has to be a horrifying power since Itachi said he hopes Naruto never has to use it.

I can't take cradit for coming up with this idea though, since I am just relaying what I have read elsewhere by dragon.....something...however, it made much sence to me knowing that Kishi gets a lot of references from japanese folklore and myths that he would most likely integrate the third (Jewel) item into the series. Also, it was mentioned that the jewel would pull the good out, but can only be used by the one with the purest heart. Thus, probably, Itachi couldn't use it himself, having regrets about killing his family and all. Possibly, that's why Kishi had that "falls of truth" and all bullcrap to build is up for that moment when Naruto would have the purest heart to use the Jewel. But, No doubt that Itachi is one of the coolest and thouroughly thought out characters in the series. And as you said, it wouldn't be very surprising for him to have all 3 items that SO6P had. May be Itachi found his grave or something.

Yea it does make alot of sense .. I really hope that dragons theory is true because it makes too much sense.. an your rite about the falls an all .. It takes a pure heart to fully control the 9tails.. so him getting the 3rd item for having a pure heart isn't too far off lol.

2. Naruto series isn't silly. Actually I really like how kishi develops the story and I would like to see how it ends and keeps developing.

As Mr Spock would say "fascinating".... Well at least you understand where I am coming from, what more could I ask from someone like you who loves to debate right? ...Anyway dont misunderstand me...I read all these theories on the forum pages for kicks and laughs and sometimes actual thought and reflection. And I am also truly fascinated by the Naruto series and the way it is written. If this could have all been just put in a novel series I would read it from start to finish non stop all nighter 24/7...lol I read a lot of Sci fi and have some favorite authors who never disappoint me (Peter David)

Go to a certain bookstore and you might see the original and unscanned copies of the Manga.

My favorite characters are Minato and Itachi. These two guys are by far the very definition of genius for me.

Just curiousity on my part...not something to debate, but why do you think Itachi is the very definition of Genius...of course youll have to elaborate on your definition of genius.

Actually Orochimaru had the Kusanagi sword which was part of the imperial regalia

, Itachi's Totsuka sword was the perfect coutner to it but not a part of the regalia so it is possible he had both the Yata no Kagami and Yakasani no Magatama and that wouldn't make him too overpowered. But was he really not pure of heart? Yes, he DID kill his entire clan, but that doesn't mean he is some psycho that attacks people on sight, actually he doesn't fight unless he really has to. And the reason he killed his clan was to save innocent lives, after all if the coup d'état had been started there are two possibilities:
1)The Uchiha don't manage to overthrow the hokage and in the process most of them die while some who survive could be thrown in some prison idk, but there would be casualties on the other side as well and seeing as the Uchiha are so powerful due to the Sharingan I'd say they'd be at least as much as the Uchiha. And in this situation Itachi would end up saving a lot of people even though taking so much lives.
2)The Uchiha manage to overthrow the hokage. That means a lot more people dead and Itachi saving even more lives.
So in my opinion Itachi is at least very close to being pure of heart, and keep in mind what he did for his little brother - he had planned to sacrifice himself to rid him of Orochimaru's curse seal, at the same time giving him the requirement to unlock the mangekyou sharingan AND the possibility to make it an EMS (not sure if the EMS part was in his plans though).
