Secondly, he's going to attend this kage meeting with all the great kages of the 5 countries. What kind of trick will he pull in that meeting, hmm?

It's going to get real interesting from now on, wheter you hate Danzou or not. We need some excitement now, Tsunade as hokage was no fun. Danzou as the hokage however, will create more tension in the story.

Naruto may have to move out of the village- He can go to Amegakure. Konan said she would help and with Danzou as hokage she has an added reason to do it.

Danzou is probably going to break ties with Sand as he spoke against it. So Gara would be free to support Naruto or any rebel if that scenario.

It also makes easy for Sasuke- if he attacks the Leaf under Danzou, he would get ample support from readers. Score for Sasuke..

Tsunade was alright in her own way and I hope she recovers.

Scene changes to Akatsuki

Scene changes to Konoha
The messenger of Rai country arrives Konoha finally.

The meeting is about nomination of the next hokage. Before Danzou nominates himself, Shikaku nominates Kakashi.
It seems that Danzou is not happy when everyone agrees. Danzou shouts that Jiraiya's apprentice destroyed the village, Sand country is the betrayal of our allies, Orochimaru brings destruction to Konoha and Uchiha Sasuke is missing ninja of Konoha, all of these are the fault of third hokage.
Then he nominates himself. The fire country announces the six hokage is Danzou.
Danzou smiles.

It was mentioned in the manga a long time ago. I think it was when Sasuke tried to capture the 8-tailed. The Raigake said then that there would be a meeting between the main kage's.

Well... Chances are that nobody will leave Konoha, even if Naruto has to, and they hate the new hokage- in the interest of the village and rebuidling and all that crap... we might have to wait till next manga off course or even later to find out.
