Chapter 450: New Developments
(Team Falcon stands outside the Akatuski Hideout. They are all suited and ready to go.)
"Nice, the repairs on my blade came out nicely. Can't wait to try it out on
some leaf ninja," smiled Suigetsu. (Suigetsu swings his sword.)
"Easy Suigetsu, you do realise that we are not out to slaughter the village," said Juugo. "The fool, like we'd take down a whole village by ourselves, right Sasuke," said Karin.
"The three elders ought to be heavily guarded by Anbu Black ops, the secret attack squad of Konoha. Regardless, things aren't going to be easy. Take out anyone in your way," said Sasuke.
"But Sasuke, weren't you originally from Konoha? You don't feel any hostility towards attacking them without an explanation," asked Karin.
"I have no more love for Konoha. And if things get too serious, leave everything to me," said Sasuke. (Suigetsu smiles.)
"That's what I like to hear," said Suigetsu. "Sasuke, something has been bugging me for a while now," said Karin.
"What is it," asked Sasuke. "Isn't there a jinchuurikii residing in Konoha," asked Karin.
"That's nothing we should concern ourselves with, Madara said Akatuski will deal with him," said Sasuke. "But Sasuke, considering that we are going to Konoha, don't you think we should contact Madara about capturing him," asked Juugo. "
I'm done with these crazy charka monsters, if we don't have to battle him, its better for us," said Karin.
"Ehh, Sasuke? You were from Konoha, I'm sure you know this host right," asked Suigetsu. "Naruto, that's his name. I'm sure you guys remember him from our pursuit of Itachi. He was the one who used the mass shadow clones to pinpoint my location," said Sasuke.
"Is he a problem," asked Suigetsu. "He is the 9 tails jinchuurikii. He shouldn't be underestimated," said Sasuke.
"If the tails represents the amount of strength he holds, then he could be even more dangerous than the Eight Tails," said Karin.
"Heh, the nightmares won't go away for me either," smiled Suigetsu. "If my assumptions about him are correct, he may actually pose a small threat.
He is the kind of stubborn guy who won't accept the fact that he has lost. If bringing me back is so important to him, he must have improved his powers well beyond our last meeting," said Sasuke.
"Your rivalry with this guy reminds me of Kimmimaro and myself," said Juugo. "YOu guys sound like you have been through a lot," said Karin.
"Hah, are you worried you can't beat him," asked Suigetsu. Don't worry, my powers are enough to eclipse all light at his chances of winning," said Sasuke.
(Team Falcon looks intently at Sasuke's deamnor.)
"Let's go, Konoha awaits," said Sasuke. (They dash off.)
Switch Scene to inside Akatuski corridors:
(Countless Defeated Lightning Shinobi lay about. Among the corpses stands Kisame grasping victory.)
"It seems Sasuke brought a bit of trouble back with him," said Kisame. (Tucked inside a crevice is a lone shinobi, he sends away a communication lizard.)
"That should do it. At least I was able to describe what kind of monster Akatuski has on their side. Now, I should try to escape," said Lightning Shinobi.
(He immediately sneaks out but is quickly cornered by Kisame.)
"Oh, how cute. A little straggler. I must be off today, to let you evade my eyes for this long," laughed Kisame.
"Who the hell are you," asked Shinobi. "Since you are about to die anyway, I guess I can tell you. I am Shark Devil Kisame, one of the remaining sevenmist swordsmen," said Kisame.
"Wait, I thought you were disbanded," said Shinobi. (Immediately Kisame slices through the man, the screen cuts to Kisame's face.)
"That's all he asked for, so that's all he gets," said Kisame.
Switch Scene to Konoha:
(Naruto heads back to Konoha and notices everyone is gathered around to celebrate his victory.)
"There he his," said Katsuyu. "Wow, guys. Kakashi, Sakura, Gramps. Everyone is here. He really did it," smiled Naruto. (He tears up.)
"He always appear when he need him the most," said Kakashi. (Flash back of Naruto using his tactic to save Kakashi from Zabuza's water prison. Flash back of Naruto appearing from the smoke to help Sasuke fight Haku. Flash back of Naruto appearing with Team Seven to save Kakashi, Choji, and Ino from Kakuzu's Katon jutsu.
Then automatically Kakashi pictures Minato on top of Gamabunta, preparing to face off against the Kyuubi.)
"He in a sense, has done even more than me. What do you think, Kakashi. To think he'd be able to change someone such as that. His power is amazing" said Tsuande.
(She is walked over with the help of Sakura.)
"Katsuyu, how's Naruto's condition," asked Fukasku. "He's fine. Just a little tired froom using his up all his chakra," said Katsuyu.
"Heh, heh. You don't mind lady Tsunade, that we take him off your hands for a while. He reminds us so much of Jiraiya. He told us his dream is to be the Hokage. Seeing how much work this village needs. We'll have to kick him into shape," said Fukasku.
"You'll have to ask him yourself, here he is," said Tsunade. (Naruto walks over to the crowd.)
Switch Scene to Akatuski Headquarters:
(Kisame joins the fray.)
"So, what did you discover down below," asked Madara. "Sasuke and his croonies have already set sail for Konoha. I have also taken care of our little pest problem," said Kisame.
"So, the Eight Tails didn't return home. THis makes things easier for me," said Madara.
"How, this is more work for you," said Light Zetsu.
"He must have something planned," said Dark Zetsu.
"What about Pain, we haven't recieved a report from him," said Kisame. "We have to assume the worst case scenario at this moment," said Madara.
"And you are knowingly letting Sasuke go to Konoha, considering that Naruto may have defeated the man who was considered unbeatable. You must have some faith in the boy that screwed up so badly against the Eight Tails," said Kisame.
"I was merely testing Sasuke's abilities with the Mangekyou Sharingan. I wasn't expecting him to be quite successful, but based on the condition of the substitution he brought in, he is capable of Amaterasu, which means he has awakned the other two abilities.
Now, he is ready to accomplish his task. And considering the damage Pain might have left Konoha in, Sasuke's job should be that much more managable. What's more, is that the Eight Tails is now rogue. I can capture him myself," said Madara.
"Told you he had a plan," said Dark Zetsu.
"I'll track down the Eight Tails. Until then, Naruto is in Sasuke's hands. Then, we can plan our final move," said Madara. (Madara vanishes.)
(Switch Scene to the Land of Lightning)
"WHAT. ALL FOUR TEAMS HAVE BEEN KILLED BY ONE MAN," yelled Raikage. "Yes, apparently the descriptions mentions him to be a rather large man, carrying a huge sword wrapped in bandages. He has a shark like face and pale blue skin," said Advisor.
"Him, could it be. Kisame of the sevenmist swordsmen. He is also a missin nin, but I've always been curious about Mizugakure. Konoha has a Jinchuuriki living in their village. I'd doubt they'd aid Sasuke. Now I'm suspecting Mizugakure of foul play, even if this Kisame is a missing nin. Killer Bee. It might already be too late. Akatuski will pay dearly for this. How long until the preparions for the summit are ready," asked Raikage.
