Purely cosmetic. I don't want Naruto to constantly have the rinnegan eyes activated. I think there are more people who'd share my view on this.

I'll laugh if nagato is going to fight dirty If naruto thinks he's friendly and nagato fires a hostile attack xD

I really liked this chapter but the end of it leaves me sort of angry - almost seems like a cop out of kishi to just say "ok I believe you" ...

HOWEVER - I think it is cool that Naruto is finally becoming that Hokage-figure and changing people ... he has done it subtly before but now it is more and more obvious the impact he is having on people

I hope the seal - whatever it may be sort of counterbalances the "I believe you" ending of this manga with something unpredictable and not necessarily just like the positive ending of this chapter

Oh and I know it is silly - FIRST PAGE! WOOT! (I have a feeling this chapter is going to bring in a lot of posts)

i think that naruto now.. has trully a hokage behavior... ;D
but i doubt that nagato is going to pass down the rinnengan (spl) to naruto... maybe he would lend him some ace to put under his sleeve but... i don't imagine naruto with the rinn..
it'd be great i must say... and the way to controll kyubi and everything... but i don't know... i just can't see nagato giving naruto the rinn...
i think kishi is going to surprise us all.. ;D

Kishi loves to believe.

Naruto believes in sensei that believed in him and thus he believes in himself and nagato because J man believed that he'd believe in Nagato because he believed in Nagato and that the mother who believed in the sister of the brother who believed that they will believe if it's believable... believe it believe it

It was really an awesome chapter. I really really liked it! Since I was waiting for a battle, I thought this chapter would suck, too. But Kishi surprised me


Nagato will kill himself and give Naruto some of his power, or something like what Itachi gave Naruto

i agree with you. i think/hope naruto can deactivate the rinnegan. it doesnt look his style. he has kyubii, toad (both at the same time) and normal eyes. and to just have rinnegan would be a disapointment really.

and i think nagato might pass on the rinnegan. i read the deffo of rinnegan before the manga and it said this

In addition to enabling the user to quickly master various jutsu, the user may also use all forms of chakra nature manipulation, as well as the sixth "Yin-Yang" type of nature chakra about which little is known. maybe it will be the rinnegan. or just the ability to control the yin/yang chakra.
but still great chapter. i like the book with nagato instead of naruto. i wasnt expecting that.

I think, that Nagato will destroy the statue in which the bijuus are sealed!
and then he will retreat to Amegakure and get killed by Madara, because he is a traitor.

1) Nagato could seal the bijuu statue inside Naruto, since Naruto is basically used to seal stuff (half kyubi, half dad, Itachi's crow and now bijuu statue).

2) Nagato could just be preparing just to show off his new wheelchair hydraulics (yo dawg check this out...).

3) Nagato will teach Naruto the Konan no Jutsu aka "how to have a hot girl with you all the time".

4) Since they dont appear to have cell phones (just short range walkies) it could be a telepathy jutsu to call for reinforcements.

5) Nagato could be dispelling a genjutsu on Naruto (all these episodes since the invasion were just a genjutsu). This would be a very nice twist.

Lets wait for kishi's surprise.

well i thought that was a pretty awsome chapter..i think that nagato is most likely to not give his rinnegan to naruto, but anything can happen. He's probably going to give him a special power to control the kyubi or a power to fight madara. I hope he doesnt die and help naruto out a little for sparing his life. I hope before naruto fights madara, that nagato does...i mean that would be a pretty cool fight..or at least with sasuke.

Well this was a good chapter. Naruto shows how much he has matured. Turning the other cheek is a hard thing to do and not killing someone you abosolutly hate when you have the chance is very grown up.

As for Pein's jutsu I think he's going to put the bijuu statue away, or poof away I'm not sure which.

I don't think rinnegan is going to be passed to Naruto. That's too much. Nagato probably will discard those chakra rods and go back to somewhat normal self. Or he can try to blow himself up or may be he is kidding and will try to take Naruto by surprise!!!
