If pain is really in such condition, i think it makes somewhat easy for naruto to win over nagato, which personally dont want.

i want naruto to win on nagato fairly, like fighting nagato (with perfect body) and win.

i think nagato is like this because of hanzou the salamander, may be fighting with him made nagato to lose yahiko and detriorated his condition.

It isnt a wheelchair look closer it looks like a huge spider legs

wat the heck, if thats real then nagato aint even a good villain, it seems like all the major villains we have been shown have something wrong with them, orochimaru lost the use of his arms really early in the manga, nagato looks like a weak b*tch, and even madara is said to be a shell of his former self. nagato could have been the ultimate villain but instead he just looks like he is a borg, lame!

Wow... just saw the spoiler. I've always thought that Nagato was incapacitated in some way or another for using the six bodies of Pein to fight rather than fighting himself. What brought him into this condition would be made clear when Nagato tells it himself, or maybe Konan. Maybe he had an epic battle, probably with Hanzou as somebody said, where his body reached it's limits and placing him in this condition. The story did go that he did fought Hanzou on his own. Yes, he did defeat Hanzou but because of Hanzou's ability, strength and skills, Hanzou could have left Nagato this way. Then, only with the power of Rinnegan, he could have found out that he can control up to 6 bodies to do his actual fighting for him, while he is in this state. Or maybe, he's not as incapacitated as he looks. These are just my thoughts though.

Imagine, if Naruto does defeat the 6 Paths of Pein and Tsunade does survive to send out a team to destroy Nagato or the Tower in Amagakure(it will mean war between Amagakure and Konoha), Naruto wouldn't be able to bring himself to kill Nagato in the state he's in...He's too purehearted to do that.


The way Kishi and Co. are setting this up is like having an all powerful-shinobi with the most powerful doujutsu in the Naruto world...be a complete cripple without the 6 Paths of Pein...


It's like kicking a steroid-filled bulldog who had his testacles, legs, and jaw removed when it's down.

From my standpoint, Nagato will either be killed by himself, Madara, Konan, or any other Shinobi lucky enough to find Nagato like that except for the Rookie 9...

Great find on Nagato but even though he may be in the condition that he is, Naruto cannot take him lightly. He may look weak or even crippled but for someone to control power like that cannot be weak there is a possibility that even in his form he is much stronger that meets the eye

Hello every one I am a new member but have been reading your discussion for quite a while and they are quite interesting.
well everyone is surprised about how nagato looks but if we remember back Jaraiya and pain fight. he (i.e pain) did say that if their secret got out Jaraiya would be able to defeat him. Now it makes sense.

it almost made me cry seeing the nagato that way, it looked like he survived and came from a thirdworld country...Konan should have breast fed him...LOL

i think Pain is sick, he have a disease or maybe he can be badly injured from a fight . And the term 'Peace' is because he want to die with dignity, he want to me be killed . And he wants to everyone fell the pain that he suffor... Or not ^^ sorry about my english
