Very good guys, this just confirms Itachi, was a goody goody.
I have realized something interesting on this manga, While Sasuke attacked Itachi he awoke his sharingan, when he threw the knife at Itachis forehead protector on page 11, the Sharingan were in both eyes, but there was only 1 tamoe in each. Everybody thought that he awoke it during the battle with Haku.
I would love to see what is the power that Itachi have enhanced Naruto with, and since Naruto is back at Konoha he must have heard about the Jman, guess he didnt go ape all the way. Maybe he is still in the dark about the Jmans death?

naruto doesnt know about jman death yet and i dont think naruto's new power has anything to do with controling the fox or anything like that it has something to do with sasuke. It is something to prevent sasuke from killing naruto or something because itachi said "i hope you never have to use it"

im a bit lost with the reasons why itachi planed on doing these things, . 1. main goal is to protect leaf, but even knowing the chance of his brother attacking leaf, he give him his powers and guided him to be strong.... 2. then he makes up a plan B with naruto to defend leaf, by giving some of his powers too. 3. to me if itachi main goial is to protect leaf, he should
kill his brother with all his powers OR not give anyone his powers and go kill madara instead. but then his plans outcomes to naruto vs his brother-in which itachi could of just fix things himself instead of causing more casualties. this is no ways close to his original plan, to protect brother and to safe leaf.... i just see contridictions everywhere.

You probably didnt read the part where Itachi is busy dieing of a disease did you? If he couldnt kill his brother when he massacred the clan, what would make you think that he would do it now? And the last thing, Itachi had a brilliant mind. He planned for all the possible options that could play out, and made sure to save both Sasuke and the leaf.
On a side thought, I wonder how a battle between Itachi, and Skhamaru would play out?
ok, so lets see if i got it. first he is making up his mistakes of not killing his brother, and of course he still wont.ok. but now even if he is sick, want to protect his brother and leaf. it wont make sense cus if naruto dies, there will be no protecting leaf, if brother dies then they will be no protecting brother. if he wanted to make sure to protect both, then how can giving both some of his poweres so they can fight, be protecting both...... no one is wrong here, but its just not hitting the sweet spot of a perfect solution and answer. it just goes round and round.. and round. oh and if it was not for his sickness. everything would be done quick quick... i think he should of went to gym and stayed healthy instead of just sit and used his eyes for everything, its easy to catch a cold like that.

you don't see realetionship between Sasuke and Itachi - read whole manga from 1 till Sasuke defeats Naruto
Most important for Itachi is to give Sasuke power and to protect him

Ok..first things first, i see alot of misunderstandings and a bunch of n00bish statements.
ToadSageJiraiya - Naruto and the team went back to the village because they failed their mission. How you ask? After Zetsu appeared and told them the news about Sasuke, they all rush towards the arena where Sasuke and Itachi fought. When team Konoha reach their, it was late and the scent of Sasuke and Tobi/Madara is gone, due to rain. Dont worry, some Mangas should have flash-backs on what is going on so we dont get confuse, they just want us to get curious, thats all.

drpat - Its not about the leaf really, its about 'Reviving' or 'Revenge'. The main reason Sasuke would attack Konoha is to revive or either revenge for getting rid of the Uchihas. I can tell Itachi will protect Konoha as well, but since Sasuke is the last mortal Uchiha, then might as well support him and also support where your place call 'home'.

okok i will do so, but either way there must be a super twist of the story for a solution to satisfy both parties. and that..... would be in a few years , seeing how slow this story is going. and sasuke not taking his brothers eyes is just ,,,, well now naruto and sas are both equal, they will die from using to much of power. imagin when they battle and both of them just shut off half way cus of their power limits. then some wimp on the side will be the one who takes over without sas an naruto in it. well you see, itachi wants to protect everything .... to much of a saint. to hardcore, but its the conclution that matters, will itachis' plan come to a satisfying conclution.....playing both sides is a hard thing to do.
