alright thanks to the brand new special in Naruto. we get to see something that was right in front of all our faces.
-
Basically the special positioned the scenes in a way that resembled a man who lost a loved one, and who would go as far as selling his soul to darkness and destroy everything to ease the pain.
-
Now follow me on this. this is how the Special positioned the scenes.
1. Hinata being crushed into the earth
2. Naruto staring and yelling hinata's name is utter shock and pain.
3. lying on his knees broken
4. the Kyuubi, telling him that he feels his pain.
5. The kyuubi, telling Naruto to give him his soul and he will ease his pain.
6. Naruto being confused/flustered/enraged about Hinata's pain
7. the kyuubi, telling naruto to destroy everything
8. naruto accepting the kyuubi's offer to ease the pain of a lost loved one.

now personnally i don't believe this is a healthy love, if naruto would sell his soul to ease his pain, but however it does show a strong affection for Hinata.

I personally just feel its pretty interesting that Naruto would have so much feelings for a side character. lol
