Naruto being kurama's jin a very impressive overlooked feat. The fact that his chakra is powerful enough to keep kurama's in check is godly. Remember when four tails cloak Naruto hit sakura? Only a tiny bit of kurama's chakra entered her system and she was solo'd. If not for kabuto she might have died as kurama chakra is so dense and powerful it was described as poisen. Even Minato admitted he was basically paralyzed with kurama inside of him. Naruto now has Full Kurama with him which chakra he handles effortlessly and he sync with kurama to such a degree kishi stated in chapter 700 their spirit became one. Naruto was the only on capable of becoming Kurama's perfect jin.

Using a dojutsu to controll a bijuu is nothing compared to actually being a jinchuriki. Only a select few actually could become a jin let alone Kurama's jin. Only Uzumaki can become Kurama's jin.

Naruto was called a jinchuuriki through his whole life, not "half jin"
