Naruto can't even touch Obito let alone defeat him. Naruto had the help of 3 other shinobi and still couldn't touch Obito till Kakashi exploited his weakness. Any clones that come at him get one shotted by a swing of the Gunbai like they did in Canon and Naruto either ends up getting his soul taken or he gets warped.

Obito, got help with Mandara. Even before they were fight naruto was going at it with Obito. Plus Obito if he was so strong why couldn't he capture him? Again kakashi jumped in because of the fact that his student was fighting his best friend. Gai was exhausted. Bee was tapped. Naruto then caught Mandara and kakashi took over the fight with Obito. And naruto re-jumped in and assited his teacher. (Yes the 9 tails helped) but the fact is that it was naruto body thus it was naruto.

You would think 3 most powerful eyes plus a sharrigan would do the trick. But an exhausted taijustsu user an exhausted sharrigan, exhausted tail beast who was with naruto who was exhausted should of been easy to capture.

Doesn't change the fact that Naruto failed to lay a hand on Obito. The only reason they couldn't capture them is because it would take too long, Obito had already begun to revive the Juubi so once it was formed capturing Naruto became pointless.

He can be stronger than Sakura when he has sage strength. He can shield all shinobi from attacks better than Tsunade. He evolve the rasengan, something that his father or jariya and kakashi couldn't do. Genjutsu doesn't work on host who has full control of there tail beast. The gentle fist doesn't work on him. no they are not equal. naruto needed bee, guy and kakashi to beat obito and yet they only barely injured him. naruto isnt equal to obito and he isnt stronger than.
