Because Naruto is Rikudo's reincarnation, they both share the same vision and path and Naruto also has friendship with the bijuu like rikudo.

Obito and madara are trying to bring peace through Power rather than Love which Rikudo and naruto believe in. Don't forget they don't have friendship with the bijuu, they force them to do their bidden.

Why would Madara or Obito meet the Sage? When he split the Juubi into bijuus he said that someone will one day lead them to the right path. It's the perfect time for him to meet the person he had a prophecy about. Also he and Rikudou are the only people who had friendship with the Bijuu.
