True.
The pain of losing what you once had is greater than to have never had it at all.

Naruto has it easy compared to most characters.
You must have missed the flashbacks of Naruto staring with envy at age-mates' holding hands or being comforted by their parents. And the cold hearted hateful comments from the adults. He understood and felt deeply what he did not have.
I also disagree with your claim that losing a loved one is worse than never having had one. Ask any parent who lost a child, if they'd rather not have had the child, so they would not have to go through the pain - see what answer you'll get.

Hello people,

I was wondering if others were feeling the same way. I was a huge fan of Naruto, especially after the Pain fight, but the character has recently really started to irritate me. He talks a lot about the pain he has suffered, but in reality, its not even comparable to most of the characters he's encountered. I mean, yes, he was ostricized by his village for a while, but he still had people to care and look after him. He didn't have either of his parents, but it's not like he experienced having parents. The pain is less when you have never met the people who gave birth to you. Basically, the only time he really suffered loss was when he lost his 60 year old teacher, Jiraiya. Compared to someone like Sasuke, whose entire family was murdered by his brother, under orders from the village he trusted and gave his life to, or Obito, whose love was murdered by his best friend, or Pain whose family and closest friend were murdered in front of his eyes, his pain is really nothing. To having him go out and give his sanctimonious speeches about his "suffering" irritates me, especially now in the manga. Compared to this, he was basically an orphan who lost a grandpa like figure. Sure it hurts, but its not even close to the despair the people he's talking to felt.

Anyways, I was just wondering if anyone else felt the same way. I liked the Naruto character for the longest time, but his speeches now are just getting unbearable. I also don't like how everyone is suddenly magically convinced by him too. Like how Kakashi's guilt was just swept away by the Naruto speech. That scene especially pissed me off.
what u on about?

naruto was hated when he was child for being the fox's host in his own village.

And naruto didn't even know why,

I think u forgot how it was for naruto all those years ago. Naruto's strong character made him into a kind cheerful person as oppose to a bitter one like sasuke and obito.

Like naruto said to sasuke, he could have easily became just like sasuke is all those years ago when the village hated him for under his knowledge nothing. Called a monster despite only being a child. Lost his own parents for the village mind you and still hated.

I think ur barking up the wrong tree if you ask me.

The worst kind of pain is being unwanted.
You are right, people want to belong and know their wanted and appreciated. Man is a Social Animal. Being Hated and Feared by others is not natural,it is learn by people who want to be feared and hated by others. Natural stated of Man is to belong to someone or something.
