I was watching the Taka vs Killer Bee fight, and I just realized, Naruto is racist! Why? Because, the first black character they have on the show is a RAPPER! How sterotypical....

Yeah but how many credible white rappers are there :)
Helllooooooo!? God dude... Vanilla Ice of course! *failed*

Anyway, I don't think it's a racist thing. It's the only thing that adds to Bee's personality. Otherwise he'd just be the typical "badass black guy."

Now if they start eating watermelons, chicken, and drink nothing but grape soda... well... :flaw:

They have more black people who aren't rappers -___-. Besides it was funny watching Bee rap AND kick Sasuke's ass.

The mentality of being racist is prepetuated by generilizations and sterotypes. If generilizations and sterotypes stop whats left to be racest about?

Can we lock the thread already?

I'll point out that the first black guy in the series was actually a dock worker in one of the movies that they asked directions from. ^_^ Bee is vaguely stereotypical, but no more so than any sword weilding asian, or any other character in any anime right? Most differences in racial behavior are really just differences in social behavior. Maybe it's easy for me to say it's not a big deal as a white male. I'm not really sure. But in defense of Naruto as a person he wasn't the slightest bit phased by the difference in pigment displayed by the people from the cloud village, and nobody else in the show seems to have negative, or any, presuppositions about them due to their skin tone.
