I didn't say minato could create that many. I said a big reason why naruto progresses so much is that he can create so many clones for his training. And then I went on to say that if minato could do the same thing he would progress waaaaaaaaaay faster since he is a once-in-a-generation genius.
Stop with the once in a life time genius bs. Only jiraiya his teacher called him that. Ive also said loads of characters have been hailed as genius and what not by their teachers.

Minato would also be able to create clones, but firstly he wouldnt be able to create as many as naruto. Secondly his clones wouldnt have enough chakra distributed to them since he is know were near naruto's chakra capacity (then again, nobody is apart from 8 and kisame)

Look the whole point of my post was to say minato is a genius which is why he progresses so rapidly, while naruto has a training style that only he can do which is why he progresses so rapidly. Part of being a genius means that if you train for the same amount of time that a normal person would, you level up way more than they would. Being possibly the strongest hokage at age 21, we can safely say minato levels up at a considerable rate. If you couple that rate with the training naruto does which allows a non-genius to progress multiple times faster than a genius, minato would effectively be untouchable. But of course he can't do this because the training is exclusive to naruto.

So bottom line, I was just trying to prove that despite naruto leveling up extremely quickly he is not a genius because his gain for his time training is average, while minato's is waaaay above average. naruto has just found a way to train for an extremely long time.

PS. He was a genius that appears once in a generation. Who else can single-handedly end a war at the age of 20?

You give him too much credit, forgetting that he got help with the spamming of the kunai's. Also defeating chunnins and low level jonins is an instant is impressive but i know a couple of characters with greater feats against greater opponents and they were younger when they accomplished these feats. Yes even younger than 20 year old minato.

Also forgetting that this was i believe the 3rd great ninja war and jiraiya, tsunade, oro were all there to help

Look i know i have lot of friends here who think that minato the fourth, uchiha itachi, orochimaru, gara, shikamaru r the genius among all. but guys a person who masterd an A leveled technic when he is a genin, a person who just not only mastered the fourth hukage's ninjutsu in a very short time but also completed it and took it to a new level, a person who mastered the sage mode in such a perfect way that his master, one of the legendary shanin couldn't do, a person who always found a way where all thought lose their hope, is not a genius?????...guys i wanna know your opinion.

I'd say mastering or improving some jutsus instead - one of the biggest factor about that is his use of Kagabushin all the time as it adds to one's experience. That's actually the reason why he managed to complete his Rasengan. He wont reached that far w/out his Kagebunshin jutsu. And yes he is more of a hard worker a stubborn one w/c works well in conjunction to Kagebushin. If he is a genius like his father Jiraya wouldn't have to teach him the fundamentals of Rasengan, Kakashi wont have to tip/teach him how complete rasengan. Minato learned rasengan from scratch & taught his master of that jutsu - now that's genius. Naruto is more of good observation in some situation & good instinct & reflexes in battle.

He is genius in his own way. Like he wouldn't have a high IQ, but the vast majority of elite sporting athlete's don't, yet they are genius in their own field.

Naruto is a genius for what he has achieved, his will, attitide and willingness to constantly improve and improvise when things aren't going well.

He can be a genius on the battlefield at times. Yet sometimes he is rash, by defeating so many foes simultaneously during this war, who all have superior experience than him. He has demonstrated something that only could be described as a form of genius.

His dad was a true genius. I believe to be superior, he was always reputed as being ice cold and calculated during battle. His mastery of sealing jutsu, space time jutsu, developing the rasengan by himself (with no one to instruct him on what to do, how to do it etc.).

Is clear evidence that he is a superior genius in the true sense of the word. He could better analyse opponents (IMO only), organise shinobi better, strategically plan how to deal with enemies (i.e. if he was in the war).

So i'd say overall, Minato was more of a genius in the traditional sense of the word.
