Being scared and Being defeated is totally different. If Kabuto's summoned was Tobi's brother(just consider), i dont think tobi would like to fight his dead brother. Imagine yourself to fight someone deceased who is closely related to you. I guess you would like to avoid it.

I wouldnt care, theyre already dead, edo tensei just makes their spirits come back into a zombie body, so whatever lol.

I'd easily fight a dead person-they're dead.

And its kind of funny how you suggest tobi would have sad feelings about fighting a loved one when hes supposed to be a badass super villain who got sasuke to kill danzou by sacrificing Karin, someone who could be considered close considering shes saved his ass more times than a pornstars ****ed.

I just think Kishi screwed up, for 1, plothole, for 2, side character Kabuto is becoming the main villain, which is similar on the other spectrum as making ten ten the main hero.

Okay, I give, I give, Tobi looked scared for lulz, not because he was ACTUALLY scared.

1 thing that scares all life-forms, and thats death, hence why you fight/run/diplomacise your way out of any tough situations that could cause this death.

Which is what tobi just did.

Or he was just fooling around for lulz, which would just make the storyline even more crap.

He needs to wipe everything clean back to the Pain vs Naruto fight, and it kills everyone (Kakashi should live though) and continue from there.

Dont make Sasuke win against 5 kages, dont make him win against Hokage with infinite chakra, dont make him able to counter Naruto with infinite chakra after defeating 5 kages.

And dont make some gay side character the new villain.

I so hope Tobi just stabs him in the face when kabuto enters, thatd be hilarious and make the storyline 5000000x better

You may not care, but you are not Tobi. Tobi may care. Tobi(Madara) stole his brother's eyes. I dont think anyone like to fight the spirit/ghost of someone from whom we stole their PRECIOUS BELONGINGS especially closely related to us.

During the chuunin exam, Kakashi was scared to death on his encounter with Oro. He can't even do anything. That doesn't mean that he was dead. Even Ibiki, the famous interrogator of Konoha was scared of Oro, but he was not dead. They are scared of Oro. That's it. The Third, Jiraiya, Haku, etc are not afraid of death. So, it may not be the right thing to say that all life forms are afraid of dying.

Yes, agreed, and if Naruto isnt going to learn edo tensei, which has tobi scared, despite Kishi stating theres only one way to defeat him.

The conclusion is tobi can be killed by edo tensei despite the 4th saying 1 special way is required, thus making Narutos learning pointless as you can simply get less moraled character to spam edo tensei against tobi, which is a giant plothole.

Couple of things... just because Madara backed down doesn't mean Kabuto could kill him. If Kabuto could kill him he might have killed him and gone after Sasuke right away.

Secondly... just because the fourth said something doesn't mean its true. It is true as he believed it.. but since when has the fourth become all knowing? He was human too... and prone to making mistakes.

For christs sake... he thought Konoha would actually treat Naruto like a hero.

What you say is "Since Tobi is scared of the last summoned by Kabuto's Edo Tensei, the summon is capable of defeating Tobi". Right?

But, i totally contradict your idea. Like i've said if the summoned is Tobi(Madara)'s brother, Tobi will not like to fight his brother from whom he stole his eyes. So, he prefers to avoid that. But that doesn't mean that he would lose to the summoned. Its just that after obtaining his goal(winning the war and capturing all tailed beasts, he wouldn't have any use for Sasuke), he will gladly give Sasuke to Kabuto, that's it. Besides, Kabuto will contribute a lot in the war.

Edo Tensei is not a special power. Its a forbidden jutsu since it requires sacrifice. If its not a forbidden one, most jounins will learn easily. There is no speciality. I bet even Konohamaru can learn it, summoned the one which Kabuto summoned and beat madara. LOL

The one special is Nine-Tails. None but only one person can obtain this. Naruto after capable of controlling Nine-Tails Naruto will learn THAT JUTSU. Using that(may be some more new techniques, who knows?), he will beat Tobi. That's the reason why the Fourth sealed Nine-Tails inside naruto and for Naruto manga series.

There is no plot hole regarding the special power. No offence but i think there is plot hole in your mind.

1. 4th said about SOME power, not edo directy. It leaves us some room to guess. Add to it what he said while talking with naruto ( pain fight) and the logic would chose kyubi control skillz

My sugestion, next time use all the info you can get , not just one sentence.

2. Edo is for SMART people, and lets face it, naru is simply stupid ( sry naru fanbois :hug: ) Ok he is smart when it comes to a fight, but the reset of the time.... Look at Einstein, a briliant guy, but was a noob when it comes to $

Why is it for smart people ? The DNA part, can he understand things like that ? will he be able to get dna of a corpse ? Edo is NOT a skill you learn with your body, and since that is the method naru uses to learn his skills, he will fail.

The sacrafice part and naru clones, a KB is NOT the same as a real body, or do you go puff and are gone when i hit you ? It cant be distinguished from a real body, but still its not the same thing. And what do you think will happen to naru, when the KB ends ( remember the trening for the fullpower rasengan.. naruto fainted. ) ? And as the las part, as some of you wrote, its not his style to kill people to get what he wants.

3 And most important, the Tobi - Kabuto episode. He was NOT afraid of the skill alone, but of what was summoned.
Think, a bit, what could it be ? 1/2 hokage, not impresive imo, madara would be like " omg again" and not " you madman!!111" He is/was one of the mose powerfull ninja in the world, so simple brut force wont work on him.


Madara was scared of the person that was summoned, and it was... (imo) uchiha .......(insert name here )... a person who could ruin his plans, remember, madara needs sasuke ( as he himself said ) so what would happen if kabuto went to sasuke, summoned, someone that would tell the truth bout the uchiha, a truth, that would be different from what sasuke knows....
