Naruto has not hit Sasuke with a Rasengan once in the entire story

There's a reason a rasengan hasn't hit Sasuke. I mean Naruto clearly doesn't want to kill the guy.

Agreed. Not cause sasuke > naruto. But because it felt legit. Sasuke logically made sure naruto was hit by chidori instead of the bullshit clash stalemate.

indeed. he set up diversions to make sure he lands it cleanly. only downside is, it didnt pierce narutos heart which would have been an instant kill

You also failed to notice that it was not the rasengan but the explosion created due to the chidori and rasengan clashing. So technically its not exactly a direct rasengan hitting Sasuke.
