Agreed. Not cause sasuke > naruto. But because it felt legit. Sasuke logically made sure naruto was hit by chidori instead of the bullshit clash stalemate.

I know there is plot but not in this case, because if sasuke would try to stab naruto through the head then naruto would just redirect it thus only losing a piece of his ear (witch would regenerate) making even worse on sasuke's part.

After all naruto was already shown redirecting sasuke from stabing his heart (witch would have caused instant), but instead he ended stabing his lungs witch regenerated.
