Actually it was thanks to Obito's overwheliming power that they all died. Heck, Sasuke was dumb enough to become Obito's pawn for a while. As Obito said, Sasuke was of no importance, just an amusement to pass time by as he awaited his plan to begin. lol.

Sasuke hasnt contributed at all except for causing diedara's death.
