Chapter 1
It has been 5 months after the interruption of the chuunin exams by momoshiki and kinshiki. Peace has return to the village once again. At the uchiha mansion, sarada's awaits her father's arrival. She has been eager to ask him to train her so that she will be well prepared for the next chuunin exams. She soon hears the foot steps of her father coming as he went to see Naruto in the hokage's office and she runs to meet him
Sarada: Welcome home dad. (She hugs him)
Sasuke: Ha. Nice to see you too. ( He hugs her) Where is your mother?.
Sarada: She is still at the hospital taking care of those injured in the invasion from those two enemies. But she said she will be back in the evening.
Sasuke: Hn (He is about to leave again when sarada tells him that she wants him to train her so that she can be ready for the next chuunin exams and be a better ninja. Sasuke smiles and signals her daughter to come forward. Upon arrival he pokes her head with his two fingers)
Sasuke: Sorry Sarada, not now maybe later. (He then walks away from the sarada. Sarada being disappointed with her father's response and not understanding why her own father won't train her now, decides to tail her father from a distance. A few metres from the village, she spots her father training boruto as he tries to master the lightning style.)
Boruto: (Concentrates the rasengan on his right hand and infuses the lightning chakra) Lightning release: Volt rasengan . He charges the rasengan towards a rock and does some damage but it is not enough)
Sasuke: You must concentrate in using the lightning technique.
Boruto: I'm trying sensei, I am trying. Damn it, this training can be a bit hard. ( They resume their training, Sarada is not pleased upon seeing her father training boruto)
Sarada: So that is why my dad left and decided not to train me now. That idiot boruto, he stole my father away from me, while I have always been asking him to train me. (She leaves in disappointment back to the mansion, deciding not to have a word with anyone).
Part 2
The next day, Sarada practises her shuriken at the training grounds but is unable to concentrate because of what happened yesterday. She takes deep breathes and tries to practise again. During the practice, chouchou comes to see her at the field.
Chouchou; I knew I would find you her, I came to see you at home but your mum told me you will be here. (Sarada ignores her at first and concentrates with her training. Chouchou sensing something is wrong with her best friend stops her )
Chouchou: Is anything wrong Sarada, you seem very upset. What is it?
Sarada: It's nothing. Nothing really. (Chouchou not really buying into that statement)
Chouchou: Girl, we have been best friends for a long time and I can tell when you are lying and when something is really wrong. you can talk to me, I can help.
Sarada sighs and turns around to narrate everything to chouchou. (After some time, chouchou smiles).
Chouchou: Wow sarada, if it were to be anything I would have thought that you are jealous. But I know what you mean, not having your father to train you after the invasion.
Sarada: Tell me about it, I should be the one my dad should train but he has been ignoring me for a long time. Even, though I have been training very well and hard with my mum, I feel as if a part of me is missing. After all the danger we went through against the shins to bring him back to the village, this is what I get in return. Sometimes I wish I never even found him and brought him back in the first place so that none of this will occur. ( She clenches her fist)
Chouchou: Calm down Sarada, I am sure you dad will train you fully in due time.
Sarada: Easy for you to say Chouchou. I believe you were training with your dad yesterday. (Chouchou feeling a bit guilty.)
Chouchou: Have you tried asking the 7th to train you?.
Sarada: I have tried but he is always busy. Especially after the events that occurred, he has now gone to the village of the hidden sand to have a meeting on how to prevent anymore invasions like that. My mum is incredibly strong and formidable no doubt about that but I want to master the other side of me. The uchiha powers that I have. I feel so stale in my current state.
(As they were talking, Sarada gets an idea)
Sarada: I think I know someone better than my dad or the 7th who can help me.
Chouchou: Who?
Sarada: The 6th Hokage Gramps Kakashi.
Chouchou: Grandpa Scarecrow? (Looks surprised)
Sarada: Yes, If I remember correctly, Mirai-nee san said he is one of the legendary ninjas in konoha and he was the one who trained my dad, the 7th and my mum. If I can get to him, he can help me to become stronger.
Chouchou: You think it is a good idea to be disturbing him. He is already in retirement.
Sarada: I think it will work, if I train with him, I can be better than boruto. (Sarada takes her ninja kit and runs off leaving chouchou behind.
Chouchou: Sarada wait for me, don't make me run again. (Sighs as Sarada is already gone)
Part 3
At Kakashi's house, Kakashi is reading his old icha-icha tactics as usually while listening to gai talking about their days as ninjas.
Gai; You still are reading that old book. As expected from my rival, your youthful power has not ceased.
Kakashi: I sometimes wish jirayia was alive so that I can read more of his books. During their conversation Sarada knocks and enters.)
Sarada: Gramps Kakashi, gramps Gai
Kakashi: Well isn't it my favourite god daughter Sarada. You have grown taller than the last time I saw you.
Gai: It's mighty gai not gramps gai. My power of youth has not cease. (Kakashi looks at him unamused, but looks to Sarada)
Kakashi: What brings you here?.
Sarada: (Without wasting any moment) I want you to train me, please. (The two look at her with surprise)
Kakashi: But isn't your father there to train you sarada?. (Sarada explains her ordeal to him and why she wants be stronger. Kakashi closes his book and sighs)
Kakashi: So the rivalry between the senju, uchiha and the uzumaki will never end. But Sasuke not training his child. That's a shame on him. Unfortunately, after the invasion Naruto has become more and more busy. (Sigh). But what about your mum, Sarada?
Sarada: I have been training with her but I believe it is time I get to the higher level. You once used the sharingan very well and you are the one who trained my father to become very strong.
Kakashi: Well it is partly true. (Trying to avoid saying that orochimaru was the next teacher who trained him.) But still i'm sorry but I cannot train you.
Sarada: But why? You are one of the legendary ninjas and hokage in the village. You are the best person to help me out.
Kakashi: My ninja days were done the moment I stepped down from being an hokage. I believe now is the time to leave it to the your parents to handle things. Sorry but no. ( Sarada tries to convince him to train her but kakashi insists on not doing it. However Sarada being very stubborn, comes up with an idea)
Sarada: If you won't train me I will let mum and dad know how your face is like and that you are still reading those old pervy books despite your promise to the 7th and my mum not to read them again.
Kakashi looks with shock at Sarada, surprised that she just blackmailed him and that she was serious with her threat. Gai laughs at Kakashi and convinces him to train her.
Gai: Come on kakashi, it will be great to see you train another uchiha. It will be like the old days when we were teachers.
Kakashi: (Seeing that he has no option, sighs). Fine you win my god daughter. Meet me at the training grounds in morning. I will train you just as I trained your father. (Sarada very happy with the response runs and hugs Kakashi.)
Sarada: Thanks gramps Kakashi, you are the best. I won't let you down. (She squeezes him a bit)
Kakashi: Not tight.(Talking undertone). You really are Sakura's daughter.
(Sarada bids them goodbye and leaves. Kakashi sighs as she leaves the house).
Kakashi: I guess I won't being enjoying my retirement for a while. Sasuke, you still remain a complicated person till now even as a father.
