When did Sasuke find time to knock up Karin
Why would Karin give up her child not to mention a child with Sasuke, no way. That should of lead to serious Crazy baby momma drama, Keep-a-Sasuke-baby if anything.
Something we do know Sasuke did admit Sakura is his wife but is it common law marriage, then why no photos, rings ect.

I can't believe people are still in denial.

Sasuke can CALL Sakura his wife, that means nothing.
Sakura can CALL Sarada her daughter, again, that means nothing.

The reality is, Sasuke cares very little about his "wife" since he hasn't been with her for like a decade, busy with missions or not.
And Sarada is BIOLOGICALLY Karin's daughter, as Kishi has been hinting at STRONGLY since chapter 1.

If it really turns out that it's only because Sasuke sucked out Karin's chakra, or Suigetsu found the wrong sample, then this is a MASSIVE troll and I don't believe Kishi will go in that direction with his readers.

NaruSaku fans were in denial as well, even though kishi strongly hinted Hinata would be his wife, and look what happened.

People were hellbent on Tobi being Izuna, even though kishi strongly hinted he was Obito, and look what happened.

From what I recall, Kishi hints these things pretty clearly and in the end they're never really trolls or massive surprises, I think that Karin is the mother.

The only massive surprise really was Black Zetsu fodderizing Madara and turning him into a Giant woman(hope you got the Steven Universe reference).

Also, when will you all realize that Kishi hates Sakura? 9/10 times she's either abused or utterly useless, even in Shippuden. That makes this whole "love triangle" thing all the easier for me to believe.

Edit: Also, the fact that Naruto was all like "I didn't know" means he hasn't actually seen Sakura pregnant and give birth to Sarada. If he did, he would have said Suigetsu was wrong.

Still no reason to have Cho Cho.... Would of been better to have Bolt or the 3rd guy that is going to be apart of his team with the blue hair. would of made for a better chapter progression... Loved Taka being back and Karin is alive, and Shin's speech on evolution. Next chapter should be much better 4/5

So if Sakura isnt her biological mother maybe they will talk about how she still is her mother because they still have such a strong connection and she raised her? But I still think Sakura is the mother because if Karin is alive and well, why would she give her child up to Sakura to raise? unless she is also on some top secret mission where she couldnt keep her child? And why is everyone okay with orochimaru chilling out doing experiments on human test subjects, obviously looks younger so he must have collected more people and taken over their bodies but Naruto and Sasuke are like nah its okay lets just let him keep murdering and torturing people?

And did Sakura have a miscarriage? she obviously was pregnant so what happened to that child?

Sakura should have married Rock Lee, he wouldnt have cheated on her.

Wow, so long after I logged last time, but this chapter was interesting enough to put my two coins on it.

1. Finally, we know what happened to Taka and Orochimaru: nothing. They're alive and well, carrying no punisment whatsoever for their crimes. At least, orochimaru is all nice and young, good to see him like that.

2. The confirmation that everybody was waiting for: Karin is Sarada's mother (maybe). First, there's no proof that dna is Karin's. Second, why would Sakura take care of Karin's child, when she's alive and well? If she died, then Sakura might have pity for the child, but that's not the case. You really believe that Sasuke got Karin pregnant, then took away his child and gave her to Sakura to raise? Or That Karin drugged Sasuke, got pregnant, then simply gave up her child to none other than her rival? That doesn't seem right.
I don't believe that Sasuke got his dna changed just by sucking Karin's blood, that doesn't make sense. Chakra doesn't change one's dna (at least I don't remember this happening before). So i think Kishi will come out with some crazy explanation and in the end Sakura will be Sarada's real mom and everybody lives happily everafter. That or this will be just a soap opera, and I don't see Kishi doing this to his characters.

3. People, just stop with this pairing wars. The characters belong to Kishi, and he can pair them up and do whatever he wants to them. Haters can hate, but there's nothing you can do. Just accept the truth and chillax.

I feel like my skin is being ripped off with this chapter ;_;

Shin's explanation of human evolution made my eyes gloss over with boredom to be 100% honest. I'm too ADHD to want to think that hard about life and death and the state of what it means to be human for so many panels... plus it's morbid to think about the fact that we are all going to die one day and it makes me feel hopeless. Why even live if we're going to die anyway? Ugh I can't let my mind start going down that road.

Orochimaru running around free is annoying to me. No matter what he did to help Tsunade in the war he's a horrible human being. Even in this world of ninjas who are killers for hire, Orochimaru is still a monster in my head and shouldn't be overlooked so easily.

Karin not being around was too convenient to me, makes me think Suigetsu screwed something up with the maternity test but for now I'll have no choice but believe the results.

My poor Sarada is getting her emotions thrown around so much I feel for the girl. She's been dragged through it as much as Sakura in the old days, I think Kishimoto does not like Sakura or her daughter much at all. Makes for good underdog characters though at least. I hope that the explanation will be a good one when Sasuke confesses to being a scumbag. I hope Sarada can forgive Sakura for not telling her sooner, if this is the case... Sakura saying "that daughter of mine" when she heard Sarada ran off to follow Naruto makes me question this outcome but I'll keep those thoughts to myself or else I'll look like a sore loser over what we just found out.

Orochimaru is still a creep, as usual, but he is a genius. He made a dna testing machine for dummies XD

Agreed, there is no way of knowing if the DNA was Karin's; who knows what sort of stuff an Uzumaki Lady keeps in her desk. And---as has already been mentioned---Sakura's posture and the hand over her belly in "The World to Come" on panels 9 and 10 suggest that she might have been pregnant.
Neither is conclusive evidence, too early to jump to conclusions...

Chapter was good. But it was ambiguous... good to see Oroochimaru back, story of shin was good.

But the ambiguity starts from Karin is being told as mother of Sarada,

- I mean Sasuke didnt even like her. Even he tried ti kill her. It was just Karin who liked Sasuke.
- Also, if Sakura was not Sarada's mom then at least naruto would have known, since Sakura and Naruto are comrades since the beginning.
- Also, if Sarada was the karin and Sasuke's child then she would have been having power of both Uchiha (Indra) and Uzumaki (Asura, since Uzumaki are the relatives of Senju), but it has never mentioned in manga. (Also, she would have awakened the complete sharingan by now).

My theory is like (its been discussed here already), Sasuke might have gathered chakra from Karin while he was low. So the computer showed the result like that. Just my theory and guess. But its hard to believe that Karin is the Mother of Sarada.

I would rate the chapter 4/5 since it was not so good at the end (How dare Sarada to talk to Naruto, who is the Seventh Hokage like that??).

I'd like to thank Dr.Kishi for providing us with such amazing knowledge. We'd love it more, however, if there would be, i dont know, maybe just ONE OUNCE OF PLOT SOMEWHERE. Not much but if we just got even a single page of some kind of a good plot, we'd love it. Something that shows that Naruto and Sasuke are even 0.0000001% as strong as their former selves. Or just once not make the uchiha clan so weird. Or maybe just maybe let a single character that we have loved throughout 700 chapters turn out to be crap. We'd really appreciate that. Nonetheless, This biology book by Dr.Kishi is coming up nicely.

Still not convinced Karin is Sarada's mother. That dna test proved nothing but the fact that they're related. If any of you think for a second Karin, if she had a relationship with Sasuke, wouldn't drop everything to raise a child with him, then by god... Until we get confirmation from Karin, I'm sticking to my theory

Maybe Sarada is a genetically modified 3-person baby only with some of Karin's DNA?
She might've had abnormalities when she was little and they Karin's mitochondria to help her survive.

I personally don't think Sasuke just knocked up Karin to get the ultimate Senju/Uchiha combination :bouncy:

Something's fishy.... I don't think Karin is Saradas Mom ... I bet that was something she kept from Sasuke ....that's why the DNA matches!
There is no way in hell that he had a fling with Karin! Also neither Naruto nor Suigetsu knew a thing.... come on that is something that you would tell your very best friend who saved you and all... Naruto said so himself that Sakura is the Mom... meaning I think he saw her pregnant at some point! Sasuke has never liked getting close to anyone....he just isn't the type to have affairs or whatever....Sakura is obviously his wife and the woman he loves so why would he have a child with his stalker???
Also why would his Lovechild be raised by Sakura.... and even if Sakura by any chance wouldn't be able to have children why would she choose Karin as a helper? Plus I doubt that Karin would give up the child that she has with Sasuke.....she loves him after all.

That would mean that Sarad ia an Uchiha/Uzumaki mix ---> wouldn't that give her the Rinnegan....yet she has the Sharingan

I am going to agree with you all the way. I was even talking to my sister about this chapter and that it was weird that Naruto never notice that Sakura was pregnant. If Hinata was pregnant with Boruto around the same time as Sakura was pregnant with Sarada shouldn't Naruto have notice. Cause Naruto just act surprised about the info also like he never knew, and this whole time he even thought Sakura was the mother. I just think there is more to this, I still think that DNA was Sasuke's cause why would you have a thing of your own DNA around, but I think Karin would diffidently have DNA of the guy that she really like(Sasuke)
